Gaius: So I have a riddle for you. There are two islands connected by a bridge capable of holding only one hundred pounds. On one island, there is a gatekeeper who only lets you cross the bridge one time, and on the other island, there is a princess and an apple tree.
Merlin: Can I be both the apple tree and the princess?
Gaius: No. Shush. The princess weighs ninety-nine pounds, and each apple weighs half a pound. But she needs to get three apples across. How does she do this without collapsing the bridge?
Gwaine: WEAK-ASS BRIDGE! Who the FUCK was in charge of construction?
Gaius: No--
Arthur: You THROW one apple across, and you carry the other two just fine!
Gwaine: YEET THE FRUIT!
Percival: Or you roll it! Like a bowling ball!
Merlin: The gatekeeper is the singular pin, and if you don't knock him down, you lose crossing privileges.
Gaius: That's not--
Elyan: What time period is this in? Do dragons still exist? She can just tie an apple to a dragon and fly it over.
Gaius: She JUGGLES them! She juggles the apples! One apple is always in the air as she crosses! THAT is the answer! Holy shit.
Merlin:
Merlin: Dude
Gaius: What?
Merlin: Boat.
Arthur: Boat!
Elyan: Boat???
Percival: Boat!
Gwaine: BOAT!!!!
Gaius:
Gaius: I'm leaving.
Oh no
me too, not in a fight tho š
I can take them both
Happy Halloween. For the trick or treat prompts a merlin au where Arthur has magic.
He doesnāt tell anyone, because heās not an idiot. Itās little at first, things moving around him, weird dreams, things that he doesnāt think about or understand when heās a kid.Ā
And when heās old to understand, heās old enough to know heās something his father hates, heās old enough to already be training with the sword, so he understands discipline, understands control, and itās not easy to apply that to his magic, but it is simple. He learns slowly, learns the things he needs most, thing things that are easiest to hide and most worth the risk.Ā
He teaches himself healing, mostly. Itās one of the few things he can parse from the books everyone pretends Gaius doesnāt keep.Ā
The he meets Merlin, who might as well be wearing a sign around his neck that announces heās a wizard and develops a near permanent headache.Ā
After the first couple of weeks, he canāt take it anymore.Ā
āLook,ā he says, when Merlin sets breakfast on his table,Ā āI get Camelot is new to you, and everything, but you have to be more subtle than this. I wonāt be able to save you when my father chops off your head.ā Heās tried. The fire illusion spells are simple enough, but the transportation and replacement onesĀ are out of his grasp.Ā
Merlin pales.Ā āWhat? I donāt-ā
Arthur rolls his eyes and waves his hand towards the open door. It swings closed and locks itself.Ā
Heās pretty sure Merlin isnāt even breathing right now, and thatās fine, he knows a spell for that.Ā
āIf I can keep from spilling me secret to the whole castle, you can too,ā he says seriously,Ā āplease develop a single subtle bone in your body.āĀ
āI think Iām dreaming,ā Merlin says faintly.Ā
Arthur throws his apple at him.Ā
āOw!ā

I think scientists should invent something that kinda joins our brainwaves in visual form to the tv screens. And just show us a bunch of people and let us sleep and let our brains create some movie. Because most of the time the things that our brain can do and create is amazing. I have actually seen amazing things in my dreams that was better than all the movies in real life. Random guy on the street, cute lady in the groceries, your long lost relatives that you have no idea who they are but your brain is like āscrew it, youāre casted as the 17th century police with fancy clothesā. If Iām not making sense, well, none of my dreams have ever made sense but they were awesome.
