Because of the war on Gaza, my family and I lost our home and were forced to flee from the north of the Strip to the south in fear and terror 😭💔

My family and I were left without shelter after that. We sat in a cloth tent that did not protect us from the heat of summer or the cold of winter 😔💔

Because of the harsh winter and heavy rain, the worn-out fabrics of our tent could not protect us, so the tent fell on our children’s heads while they were sleeping. It was a very harsh and difficult night 🥺💔🇵🇸

All this is not enough. We are now living in famine. I cannot find a living. My children have stopped working since the beginning of the aggression because of the bombing of my workplace. My children have been without a source of income since the beginning of the war. Prices are extremely high and we suffer from diseases 💔🇵🇸😔😭🙏

This is my little baby, he is in a very bad condition now because of the lack of food and the freezing cold. He is very sick and needs treatment and proper food for him. I am Ibrahim from Gaza, from a family of 3. I have a head injury, my eye was amputated, and there is a bullet in my head that has many complications. I need to receive treatment quickly, but I cannot because of the war on Gaza. The health situation is very difficult, and I need your help to travel outside Gaza and receive treatment, implant a lens in my eye, and remove the bullet that caused the cerebral fluid to bleed from my nose. We have nothing left and are unable to secure our basic needs such as food, water, and safe shelter. I cannot provide clothes for my daughter Shahd, nor can I provide diapers, milk, or anything that will make them forget the harshness of the war and the coming winter, and I am unable to provide for my family’s needs.

On October 7th, our lives changed forever. My family left our home to the southern Gaza Strip on the beach, hoping to return soon. 😭But that did not happen. Our home was surrounded and then completely destroyed. Our home, which was once a bastion of hope, is now in ruins and destruction. Our dreams have been shattered. I appeal to the whole world to hear my sad cries and the cries of my family and my daughter, for whom I cannot provide any of her rights as a child.

We need a helping hand to leave Gaza and receive treatment to implant a lens so that my daughter Shahad can see me in the most beautiful way and remove the bullet from my head that made me suffer a lot. In a small corner of Gaza, where the lights fade and darkness falls, Mahmoud sat alone, thinking. He was a young man like any other, dreaming of a better future, a safe home, and a job that would provide him and his family with a decent life. But the dream turned into a nightmare, and life into a daily struggle for survival.

Mahmoud's family, which includes 43 members, lived under the burden of siege and war. They lost their homes, and watched their dreams fade before their eyes. Every day was a new challenge, searching for a living amidst the lack of water and electricity, and the fear of bombing that could come at any moment.

"I saw hope in the eyes of my children, but the siege was taking it away from them little by little," Mahmoud says sadly. "They wanted to play in the streets, and go to school, but all that surrounded them was destruction and fear."

Mahmoud's dream now is simple, to get his family out of this hell, and to start a new life in a safe place. But the costs of migration are high, and far beyond their means.

Noha is a story of courage and determination. She reminds us that disability is not a barrier, and that anything is possible if you are determined enough.

“We need your help,” Mahmoud says, his voice trembling. “We need a chance to build a better future for our children.”
