Gotham water is toxic as shit, and the biggest bill people have is buying bottled water from other places so that they can drink water.

Until.

A new invention gets introduced, from a kickstarter.

It takes off, and practically overnight becomes the next big thing, the creator becoming a millionaire.

But he doesn't run off with the money. He actually makes the invention and starts up a legitimate business that has payment plans for anyone.

The invention?

A filter that attaches to the sink faucet, or goes in the water towers (there's large versions for this). It uses moon rocks along with other weird things to filter, but test after test confirms that it creates the purest, healthiest drinking water.

The inventor is Tucker Foley.

What's actually happening is that there's tiny ecto blobs hidden in the rocks, which are actually from the moon (Danny ate the radiation off of them), and those little ecto blobs fucking love the toxins in Gotham's water. They'll eat 'em right up.

Problem; now the water companies that were making a living overcharging Gotham residents are hiring hitmen to take Tucker Foley out.

That’s your dad?!?

First up, this is set centuries into the future. Danny is the ghost king and ancient of space and has taken Ellie (I like that name for her better) in as his daughter.

As is normal for all families, Danny and Ellie don’t always agree on everything. One particular point of contention between the two is Danny being overprotective. She understands that it’s in his nature as a protector spirt but that doesn’t make it any less annoying to have him hovering over her all the time. Just because she’s eternally 12 doesn’t mean she’s defenceless.

After one particularly bad fight between the two she flies off into a random dimension to get some space. The dimension she ends up in being the dc one. After awhile a just exploring and following the heroes of this world she has an idea. What better way to show to her dad that she can handle herself than by becoming a hero?

She introduces herself to the heroes of this world and (after confirming with JLD that she is in fact a ghost and she does in fact have good interiors) ends up joining one of the younger teams (I’m parcel to YJ but teen titans works to)

Now here’s the thing about Ellie. Just like her dad she sucks at explaining things. It just isn’t her strong suit. So when one of them asks about her death, she (after explaining they shouldn’t ask that) explains that she’s a neverborn. She never died, she’s just always been a ghost. Later on when someone asks her how neverborns come to exist she gives the ‘ectoplasm forming about an idea or concept’ explaining and completely forget to mention that’s not the only way.

Needless to say, the team think she doesn’t have parents. Especially adding on the fact she’s still a little pissed at Danny so doesn’t talk about him.

This lead to them being very confused when, in the middle of a huge alien invasion that they were very much about to lose, Ellie yells out “DAD!!!”

That confusion turns into terror when the night sky itself opens its eyes.

Amity Park is a Cult

Start this story out with the Batfam learning that Bruce has another kid. (Idk maybe the fentons reaching out to see if Bruce has seen him) All they have is a picture of his Face from CCTV footage.

Oracle then gets a match for his face on a lesser used streaming and video platform (prolly called something dumb like Spookytube) Danny and Team Phantom look like kids posting their own music and little skits of them playing around and being kids. It’s when she gets into the account that things take a turn.

Unlisted and privated videos show the trio going about their days, testing new inventions, showing the weirdness of Amity park like it’s nothing special and complaining about parents. (Danny could already be Phantom at this point)

There’s a few videos where things really start changing. The group video themselves coming across a gather in the woods outside of Amity late one night. It’s revealed that the older generations of the town are the leaders of a cult and plan to use the next generation in some form of ritual.

The next videos are of the team and others of their generation and younger figuring out an escape plan and executing it. Using the channel and its privated videos to communicate as each of the team members separates with a group of kids to escape. The videos are check ins, information and worst of all showing that they didn’t get out of Amity unscathed.

Lots of liminal kids have now scattered into large moving groups that are being pursued by the Cult of Amity. All being led and coordinated by the (possible) long lost son of Bruce Wayne. And the kids friends and elder sister.

I feel like at some point Danny would be alive streaming to the channel just chatting with his friends and stuff when he is found and attacked by the Amity Cult. Of course the BatFam were watching and trying to track his location cause the kids like 14 and on the road taking care of like a group of 10 kids his age and younger.
