If I may ask, who are the characters in the poly route?

You certainly may! (I actually can't believe I forgot to include this in the info post.)

Rowan and Felix are the poly route! They're both also available as individual romances as well.

I wasn't originally planning on a poly route at all but Rowan and Felix are very comfortable with each other. I intended to have them as a background romance/queer-platonic relationship with one another if the MC didn't pick them. It was an easy leap for me to go "Well, why not just include the MC in that too?"

To get the poly route you need enough flirt and approval points from both by the lock-in point. (If you haven't reached enough flirt points on any of the RO's when we hit the lock-in point only Riley's route, the sibling/non-romance route will be available, but I intend flirt points are fairly easy to get so you should have options if you want them.)

Rowan's behavior prior to the lock-in will (at least according to my current draft) also vary depending on whether or not you have flirt points with both them and Felix or just one or the other or neither of them. Rowan is content to flirt with both of you at once since they'll have an interest in both. If you've only flirted with them or Felix, but not the other they won't be flirting openly with Felix (or your MC if you're focused on Felix). And if you don't have any flirt points with either there's probably going to be background flirting going on between them.

I should also note while we're talking about him that Felix is an ace romance. I don't think he's sex-repulsed, but that's not something I want to say definitively until I get deeper into writing the romances.

I'm a little confused but what are the three timelines?

A good question- it can seem a bit confusing at first, and my wording often does not help things.

Anyways, Event Horizon is one main overarching story, about the crew of a spaceship and their mission. The general events of the story, and all major choices are going to happen, regardless of timeline. 

So that brings up the question of just what the three timelines are. Essentially, there are two points of “divergence” where your choices will have a significant outcome on how the story is conducted. Certain options at these divergence points have an irreversible effect, and thus, change the timeline.

The points of divergence are in remembering your identity and upon meeting the captain for the first time. 

Timeline 1 is the “normal” timeline, and involves your character remembering who they are, and being non-aggressive to the captain. Over time, you become more and more aware of some of the underlying plots and the issues they cause, but your interaction with them is less direct.

 This is how the game is pretty much meant to be played, and how I recommend your first playthrough to go.

Timeline 2 is the “Anomaly” timeline, and involves your character remembering who they are, and being aggressive towards the captain. A bad decision on both parties end.You might have survived the encounter, but the fabric of reality ripples around you, and there’s glimpses of what is to come. There’s something... else... going on here. And now you’re caught up in it.

This serves as kind of a happy medium between Timelines 1 and 3, incorporating some of the more surreal elements of Timeline 3 with the general flow of Timeline 1.

Timeline 3 is the “Amnesiac” timeline, and involves your character not knowing their identity. Reality is shattered around you, as matter and time bend to your will. The past lives in you as readily as the present. You know the captain. You know the first officer. You know what happened- and what’s going to happen. You cannot change or recall your past, but you can irrevocably change the future.

This is pretty much a break from reality in every way. Voices in your head, brutal flashbacks, complicated relationships with your former comrades and reality itself, playing god, mysterious powers, and a lot of fire. If you wanted to get really, really, really uptight about how the worldbuilding sets up the events of Event Horizon, this should be simultaneously the most and least canon sequence of events.

Crushing W would be staring with blushed cheeks and glassy eyes, taken back by the heir beauty, even covered in rainwater. they would firstly politely refuse, not wanting to disturb the moment. Relationship W would mostly do the same, for, no matter how much time they spend together, they never get enough of their sweetheart's grace. the difference is that they would join almost without protest

Both R would feel really out of place hahah they have two left feet and don't really appreciate getting soaked in rainwater. but both would join with a little persuasion but crushing R would comment "you are so better than this at me..." while relationship R would say "you never change, do you? that's what a like about you"

Crushing and Relationship C would definitely paint that moment. the first would join with small giggles, as they never did anything like this before, even more with someone they're attracted to. while the latter would run into the rain and grab the heir to a romantic kiss. the painting would be exquisite

Crushing X would feel really happy to receive an invite and join with the same emotions. they would dance enthusiastically, spinning the heir once or twice. Relationship X would be a lot more serious, grabbing the heir to slow dance, and if they've ever talked about it, propose right there
