Ah. A person after my own heart 😔❤️
Hello dear author, I'm totally infatuated with your game!
Concerning the nonnie who asked about enemie-wised 🔐 character, is it too spoilery to ask if MC has to be on a "dark side" for romancing them?
Have a good day/night!
I'm very happy to know that 😍😍😍
Ahhhh ... Mc doesn't need to be on the "dark side" to romancing them. If they want something from Mc they'll just take it, regardless of which side Mc is on. They don't care about this little "difference" between them.
Have a good day/night too ❤️
A scream in the dead of night. A missing engineer. And a highly guarded breakthrough. Something woke up in the permafrost way north. Something man was never supposed to know. Take on the role as a for-hire investigator, sent by a private company to sort things out before the project bleeds even more funds. Dartun Station is an interactive story heavily inspired by works such as The Thing, The Invasion of The Body Snatchers and some aspects of Lovecraftian Horror.
Am I the only one enjoying the torment Angel got for every other angst snippets where they stumped MC heart? Yes? Oh, okay, I'm gonna home 🏡
So this was floating around my head for a couple days now and it wouldn’t leave. So I had to write it down and yeah. This won’t show up in game so it’s not spoilers. Just a snippet! Enjoy! <3

Hi Everyone!
I feel like wishing you all a ‘Happy Monday’ makes no sense, but I hope it’s at least a bearable one, lol. Hello to new followers and to old; thanks for the support. 💚
So, this is a continuation of this post: HERE that was requested/wanted by a few of you. @chester-stargazer, @legend-of-a-savior-if , @mecien and @cova111 among others on that ask with the Bernie meme. XD
Please check the original post for B, S, R and J. The ask prompt was:
Also how would the RO’s react to being mistaken for a couple with the MC while in the crushing phase?
I will be doing three variations of the JR one because of dynamics and I ovethink.
[ 💚 The masterpost with the 81k word demo: HERE. Reblogs of the masterpost are greatly appreciated. <3 💚 ]
Checkout lady: “Aren’t you two a cute couple? Hmmm?”
1. J and MC are assumed to be the couple.
R sharply glances up from the conveyor belt they were idly walking their fingers along to jump over the stacked snacks on the belt like in an old school video game. J’s quirked brow is ignored as is the way you are looking at them in silent question, instead they focus on the nosy woman, not wanting you or J to see the hardness to their eyes that makes the pale blue of them more flinty like ice chips. They aren’t upset with you, but with her. “These two aren’t a couple,” R refutes the misconception immediately, nearly snapping at the checkout lady, who is frozen with a bag of chips in hand that is threatening to pop with how tightly it is squeezed. “I think I would know.”
“Oh, I’m sorry I didn’t realize that you were dating one of-” The checkout lady stops speaking when R parts their lips after flashing a sharp smile.
“I’m not either, but if I was, it isn’t your business either.”
“R,” J says the name soothingly, trying to diffuse the situation, since they know how R can get. “Let’s just finish checking out?”
You decide to help, gesturing to the bouncy ball, temporary tattoo, plastic figurine, and other small vending machines at the end of the area meant for children with a few dollars to spend. “I’m bored. We should go look at that.” R follows alongside you without a word, even though your topic change was obvious.
The three of you eventually leave the store. Together.
Checkout lady: “Aren’t you two a cute couple? Hmmm?”
2. R and MC are assumed to be the couple.
“We do look good together,” R agrees with the comment, but does incline their chin slightly in a quiet test to see if the checkout lady will be bold enough to continue along this line of private conversation. Shifting in their peripheral vision alerts them to the way J just crossed their arms a little, muscles now corded and bunched with more tension. Oh. Oh. “…Though you have seen the Fernweh civil service calendar, I presume?”
You pause in arranging the items on the counter at that comment; what calendar? R shoots you a quick wink at you, while J just shifted away from the counter half-hiding behind you, which is hard for them to do. Okay, now you’re more curious.
“Of course!” The checkout lady agrees, before trying to tone down her eagerness too. “The money goes to a good cause for the roads and such.”
“And the pictures are stunning too, yes?” R coaxes out the true answer, aware of the fire department, police department, roadway safety and other boring as hell organizations trying to spice up the event with more…eh, ruggedly, beautiful poses. “Our detective was great in June with those suspenders.”
“R, no,” J admonishes, trying to will the scanning of the items to be over with so you three can leave the store. “It’s fine.”
“R, yes,” R mocks, but their mischievous smile softens when directed at you and J to become something more playful. “The point is: anyone would look good when adjacent to certain people.” The compliment to their words is not at all disguised, though the underlying assurance to it may take a more practiced ear to detect; R hopes you and J notice it.
The three of you eventually leave the store. Together.
Checkout lady: “Aren’t you two a cute couple? Hmmm?”
3. J and R are mistaken for a couple.

What are the different hybrids you can be and what does that mean for you?
Anonymous asked:
What are the different types of faeries and what are they like?
Funnily enough, I think that this post from another one of your asks sums up the power previews pretty well!
But for any newcomers, here’s the low-down on the faere names and their general presence versus the others. But remember: Playing as a hybrid of a certain faere type doesn’t mean you have to abide by these generalizations, but some are better at certain tactics and play-styles than others!
Tervalon - Earth
The tervalon place emphasis on strength and straightforwardness, but can at times be seen as stubborn and unwilling to be flexible with others.
Outside of their usual duties, they serve as the architects.
Encantus - Emotions
The encantus place emphasis on insight and emotional intelligence, but can at times be seen as manipulative and extremely judgmental of others.
Outside of their usual duties, they serve as the diplomats.
Caldras - Fire
The caldras place emphasis on passion and free expression, but can at times be seen as brash and a bit too hot to handle in their tactics.
Outside of their usual duties, they serve as the summoners.
Vitaura - Animals
The vitaura place emphasis on empathy and communication, but can at times be seen as undisciplined and eccentric due to their animal communication skills.
Outside of their usual duties, they serve as the animal-whisperers.
Illumbris - Light
The illumbris place emphasis on stealth, showmanship, and wits, but can at times be seen as superficial and untrustworthy due to their talents in espionage.
Outside of their usual duties, they serve as the performers.
Florixen - Plants
The florixen place emphasis on nourishment and self-improvement, but can at times be seen as feeble and tangled with their flowery versus thorny dualities.
Outside of their usual duties, they serve as the healers.
Cryocier - Ice
The cryocier place emphasis on patience and fairness in judgement, but can at times be seen as cold (ha ha) and detached from the world around them.
Outside of their usual duties, they serve as the judges.
Tsunisir - Water
The tsunisir place emphasis on flexibility and clarity, but can at times be seen as fickle and passive when it comes to taking sides in any sort of conflict.
Outside of their usual duties, they serve as the historians.
Exaelios - Air
The exaelios place emphasis on speed and improvisation, but can at times be seen as flighty and cowards who flee at the smallest notice of trouble.
Outside of their usual duties, they serve as the messengers.
Mourninx - Death
The mourninx place emphasis on balance and acceptance of the inevitable, but can at times be seen as ominous and offset people due to their jobs as reapers.
Outside of their usual duties, they serve as the executioners.
The Icarus Plagues [WIP]
“I’ve been here far too many times, but it never feels quite right. My surroundings feel too alive to be the scene of a death. I can hear the mechanical whirring of the clockwork horses and the wheels of the copper carts they pull rattle against the cobblestone, as well as the music blaring loudly from the many clubs nearby.”
In The Icarus Plagues, you’re one of the Icarus Plagues in the steampunk city of Lanston.
When an important politician dies, it becomes your responsibility to find the soul eating Siren responsible, but when a certain monster comes into your life, it begins to seem like there’s more going on behind the scenes than you thought.
Work with the Plagues in order to control the Siren population in the city; side with the Academy and the Sirens in order to bring the Plagues to their knees and watch them burn; or try your hand at playing both sides for your own gain.
Characters:
The game feature 4 love interests, one of which is customisable to an extent. Your relationship with these characters and their thoughts on your choices will determine how long they stick around, and maybe even if they make it out alive.
Baxter/Blanche Donovan, a fellow Plague and your easy-going partner. Donovan has spent their whole life fighting for what they think is right, but maybe it’s time you offer them a new perspective.
Alex Clarke, a clockwork mechanic. Alex has had a close working relationship with both the Plagues and the Academy for years, repairing equipment and offering more difficult to acquire weaponry. It may take a little convincing, but they can serve as a powerful ally if given the chance.
Cecil/Cecelia Price, a gun for hire who has spent too much of their life trying to escape the grips of the lower city. They’ll help for a price, but perhaps you can convince them that they’re allowed to let people get close.
Cassidy/Cassius Gray, a Siren, Academy agent, and your “guardian angel”. Cass went missing three years ago, but has suddenly resurfaced with an Academy badge and an insistence that they mean you no harm. But Cass is a rogue Siren, the very thing that the Plagues seek to destroy.

Updates will be on this blog and the forum link will be here soon.
With the completion of the concept of a particular character, I've decided to make an announcement to both introduce this character, and explain how certain romance routes are going to play out.
I'd like to make it clear by saying that seven out of the nine planned romance routes are going to begin in book one. In The Ocean of Stars is book one in what I plan to be at least five different books. The majority of the main cast is that of the crew, and the reader will most likely meet all, if not the majority, by the end of chapter five.
What makes the two other routes different is their placement in the story. Hope (Subject 3024) will not arrive until much later in book one, which is why I've kept much of their story under wraps. However, because of the fact that they do appear in book one, I've gone ahead and listed their route down.
This new RO character is an essential character to the rest of the story, and will play a major role in book two. The introduction of this character is after book one has ended, and because of this, I've yet to add this character to this list as I do not wish to false advertise.
After much thought and consideration however, I've decided to go ahead and tentatively add this character to the list of ROs that will exist in the story.
I cannot say much about this character, this character's motivations, their backstory, etc., because none of it becomes prevalent until the second book. I didn't want to leave readers in the dark about this romance route in case they actually wish to romance them, however, so I will be including this character just in case.
You will have the option to pursue other romance routes until the end of book two, in which case you are permanently locked into a route for the rest of the series.
For now, whenever questions about the ROs as a whole pops up, I will be responding with only eight of the romance options instead of the full nine.
I will be updating the "Meet the Cast!" post soon, so be on the look out for that! Thank you!
Eirris has been conquered–again. As other countries seek to expand their resources and their empires, the island nation of Eirris’s largely underdeveloped landscape proves too attractive. The High King of Eirris has been deposed and executed. Amarand now occupies the most populace port cities, and their crown prince now lives in the capital where he is hoping to make an advantageous marriage match. The Eirris clans, once united under the High King, now have fractured loyalties and motives. Some work to return Eirris to its previous power, searching tirelessly for an heir to the high throne. Some work with Amarand, earning themselves access to safe roads and profitable trade allies. Some have taken the opportunity to break free of kingdom rule entirely, and now operate as Free Clans.
You were born into a fen– a group of warriors loyal to a clan– and within the first two decades of your life, your group managed to make quite the name for yourselves as fearless and loyal adventurers. When the leader of your fen is executed for treason against the Amarandish crown, you find yourself quite suddenly without footing in the everchanging world around you. As you embark on a new adventure–full of magic and plenty of mysteries that need solving– meet a diverse cast of characters that, come what will or what may, change your life forever.
A fully customizable MC: choose your name, gender, sexuality, appearance, personality, religion, stats, and backstory
Choose from three types of magical backgrounds: Are you a druid, with ties to the fae and animism whose magic some fear, or are you a psychic, whose fortune telling and scrying are greatly admired, or are you an alchemist, whose affinity for healing and connection to the elements make you a valuable court mage?
Unique worldbuilding: while Good Folk is heavily character driven, a lot of thought and detail went into the creation of a completely unique world, one that MC travels extensively through the course of the story.
Find romance… or not!: Good Folk was designed as a romance game and has a diverse cast of characters available for romance. There are 6 romance options including male, female, non-binary, and trans ROs, as well as the option to romance any of the ROs as asexual. Every RO is available to every MC. Or choose not to romance anyone at all, and just make lifelong friends! (Note: This game will most likely feature explicit content and is only suitable for players 18+)
Determine the End State of Eirris: What will your homeland look like at the end of your journey? Will it remain under Amarand rule. Will it be united under an Eirrisian High King? Are there other options out there? Play to find out!
