Honestly had to be reminded of this today. This was one of the main reasons why I kept all of my works to myself, 'cuz I knew I'd reach a point where I'd need reassurance from my audience, but I didn't want to be perceived as "needy" or "dramatic". So I'm gonna do my best to put myself out there and ask for reassurance when I need it.

it doesn’t make you a bad person. everyone needs a little reassurance sometimes.

Sometimes, the universe blesses you with the return of one of your favs. Other times, it reminds you how gay you are by throwing a pretty lady your way, as a treat---a good night kiss of sorts.

I fully consider this time, at 6:10 pm on a random Monday in May, one of the few times the universe has fucked me in the most loving way possible.

(Honestly, I should say, "It's about damn time.", but I'm afraid I'll get the most ass-tearing beating of my life for not being grateful.)

i feel she’s very tame and nice as a yan and would only take you away if she felt you were in danger somehow, or maybe if you found out her true identity and reacted badly to it.

she’s sweet, if a little stern at times. she particularly enjoys spending her money on or stealing jewellery and expensive clothes that she wants to see you in. she’ll insist on dressing you up for candlelit dinners in the lavish apartment she keeps you in.

if she’s had a stressful day she’ll come back to you on the couch and put an arm over your shoulder, gently tugging you to rest you head on her shoulder while her other hand slowly massages your waist or thigh. she won’t push you into anything if you aren’t interested, at least not past a kiss or some general closeness.

sometimes she has nightmares of her childhood, but she never manages to wake you up during them. you being beside her when she snaps out of it really does make her feel a lot better, and in those moments she’ll softly sigh and gently pull you in closer to her.

her possessive side might show a little if you happen to meet other members of the phantom troupe. she has to refrain from telling uvogin to keep his paws to himself and feitan to stop staring at you like that.

she’s probably the best yandere to have in the phantom troupe, and the difference between how she’d treat a darling and say, feitan would, is astronomical.

College out of state is just learning how to listen to yourself tbh.

Don't wanna go to class today? Fine, how many excused absences do you have left? Will being absent throw your progress/grade out of whack? No? Then skip

Wanna hang out with potential friends? Oh you're burnt out/too tired to deal with people? That's fine too. You can still get tired of someone while getting along just fine.

You want to walk around the school grounds/go for a ride? Sure! You don't have to bar yourself from going outside as punishment for not hanging around others.

College is the time most people find themselves, and through that revelation, and their people. I know most have heard that before, but as cliché as it sounds, most ppl stuck to the others they had around in high school for social survival, so sincerity generally wasn't the main prerogative.

So, for the 95% of people who saw their high-school friendships flake away:

It sucks ass, I know, but when you get here you'll have a legitimate start to actually discover who you are outside of compromising factors (parents/guardians, siblings, former employers, etc.) ESPECIALLY for those w/ an invasive community.

And if I didn't make it clear enough before, the key to making use of this space is to not undervalue the small things. If you feel off about something, address it fairly—you're not a slacker just because you're straying from the model student ideal your parents forced you to compete against. Take it from a bio major who aced her last semester.
