Okay, so the correct answer is both but not simultaneously. Season one, the main character was Crowley. The show opens with Crowly establishing his role in the apocalypse and as a demon who's just not so demon-like. We see him time and time again conversing with different demons, moreso than Aziraphale talks to angels I'm pretty sure. It's Crowley who wants to run away when things go south, and the audience sees this in his "talk" with God. He's the one that freezes time to talk to Adam, he offers his apartment, etc.

Season two our main character is clearly Aziraphale. He's trying to help Jim while doing some soul searching of his own. It's focused more on his understanding of himself and of the Almighty and how he fits into the picture. We follow Aziraphale to Edinburough and even in the flashbacks it's all about his journey to where he is now, back in heaven.

Sometimes it can be hard to break out of that bubble. And a lot of me wishes it were as easy as black and white but it's not. I'm the only leftist in my whole extended family, i can count the democrats on one hand, and my two gay cousins voted for Trump. I still live with my family, and I love my family. Are there parts of them i don't love, yes the part that doesn't worry about my rights in the future. But I understand they don't do it out of malice, just ignorance. They prioritize pro life and immigration over my rights, and I just have to live with that. People are nuanced, they're complex. Yeah it fucking sucks but that's just the world we live in

Young people have GOT to stop talking about conservatives like they're scary menacing monsters. Yes the policies they back are horrifically destructive but that's entirely because of how individually stupid, fearful, emotionally stunted, weak willed and catastrophically gullible they are. That all is what made them become right wing to begin with. Just the most easily manipulated zombie sheep on earth.
