In other news my obsession with these boomers is still going strong. Melisha is perpetually perplexed at all times, Dr. Fry is as dopey as ever and Evie is… there.

Can we talk about that as bumbling and comedic as Rocky’s role was in the sequel, he was consistently just putting himself in harm’s way and dangerous situations without thought because absolutely nothing was keeping him from his girls?? Always going forth with this steely look on his face?? It’s such a development from the self-serving and “HIDE ME!!” we saw from him at the beginning of the first movie.

(I also like…really appreciate that this is also so consistent to his backstory; the guy was routinely shot out of a cannon so yeeting himself across great distances comes naturally.)

I hope they are all deranged in their own little ways
