Twisted Wonderland Theory: First years, Grim, and Crowley’s association to Aleister Crowley

These have the subject of religion in them, so don’t come at me… I mean all of these with respect as well.

The cover has the left side of the moon opening, so I’m going to assume that the moon is a reference to the left eye of Hours, the symbol of healing and regaining what was lost.

Lets go to the first years… These are in order as the book

Ace Trappola:

the hearts trump’s meaning is the holy goblet, the lives in which priests count

The hearts king’s model is Charlemagne, and the card is often called the ‘suicide king’ because he appears like he stuck the sword is stuck through his head.

“Trappola” means trap, so he may play the role as a joker

Also, we can see that he looks at Riddle in the opening, as well as him having a heart, to tell us that he is aiming for Riddle’s position

Sebek Zegvolt:

Sobek is the Egyptian god of power, virility, fertility.

He acts like a prophet to fertility because they used to say that Sobek was the one who decided if they were pregnant or not.

In the Hebrew bible, Sobek is associated with Leviathan, the third demon who represents envy 

Sobek is benevolent yet unpredictable, and he appears to get mad because of fear

Sobek does have associations with “thunder and storms”; Set/Kunum

Epel Felmier:

Epel’s name is a reference to an apple, which is associated with Adam and Eve.

Adam and Eve had sons named Cain and Abel. Abel is known to be the first victim of murder. (Kinda sounds and looks like Epel)

The twisted part of Epel is that his apple juice was the one causing harm, rather than being the victim. 

 In the old testament he said something to Elijah, a prophet, something that has to do with soldiers/knights and Elijah responded “Yahweh is my God”

What I’m trying to say is that Abel has many associations with prophets such as Elijah and Adam. (I think Abel is a prophet too, if I’m not mistaken)

Jack Howl:

Not much is known about him.

In the Latin version of the bible that was translated into French, Jack does appear as Jacob (that’s what I heard. Idk)

Jacob, Yaqub, is one of the prophets/messengers in the Quran, and has associations with the 12 disciples 

Wolves are metaphors for greed in the bible 

I only got Marquis and Aamon/Amon from wiki.

Deuce Spade:

The Spade Cards mean Pike/halberd (I thought it was sword or lance) , knights/soldiers, and death.

The king of Spade’s model is King David, one of the prophets.

Deuce may be last because death=end

All five of the first years:

all have an association to the old testament or prophets in the bible and or the Quran.

There’s 13x4 + joker cards in a deck. There’s 52 in total. 52 is the number of weeks in a year.

When you add all 52 and add the joker, you’ll get 365. 365 is the number of days in of days in a year in the solar/Julian calendar 

The Ace of Swords card in tarot means “triumph, the excessive degree in everything, conquest, triumph of force. It is a card of great force, in love as well as in hatred: it can indicate great property or great misery.” (wiki)

maybe the story ended in death (The fall of Twisted wonderland), but with the help of the sword, they’ll get over it and “conquer death”

Dire Crowley (our dear Crowley)

Dire Crowley is rumored to have associations with Aleister Crowley, the wickedest man in the world.

Crowley, according to Wikipedia, does have association to Egyptian deities, Islamic deities, the Cristian bible, and is in the related section of the Ace of Swords. 

Crowley is known for having associations with a beast; the beast of 666. This is also from wiki.

He described how he saw it as…

A rainfall as red as fire

Seven heads and ten horns, on top of that, the beast had 7 crowns

he saw it crawled out the ocean

there’s seven heads and each horn had 10 crowns

on the head, there were not so nice words about god written.

it looked like a jaguar with the feet of a bear and the mouth of a lion

a dragon tried to give it’s powers and crown to the beast

Lets look at the monster in the prologue which looks like Grim. 

His face does have markings of the overblot

Blue flames

hands like a human (bears and humans both have 5 fingers)

feet like a dragon

wings like a dragon

Looks like a snake

The old testament has the beast coming from the sea (octopus legs) and Grim (cat) is close enough to a leopard.

What if Aliester Crowley (Dire Crowley), self proclaimed as “Master Therion”, makes the beast (Grim?)?

Dorm Heads with a Twisted!Disney Protagonist (Part 1)

A/N: I received a few requests for something like this, but when I started writing the headcanons turned longer than I’d expected, so I’ll be posting these in two parts! 

Here’s the first with Riddle, Leona and Azul (with an Alice, Simba and Ariel inspired reader respectively) - hope you enjoy!

Riddle

Your curiosity knows no bounds - be it in baking techniques that Trey uses, why Cater is so quick with his phone, or about your academics, you’re a pretty active member of the dorm who’s somehow ended up as a jack of all trades because of this.

You can also get distracted easily, but once reminded of your role as a member of Heartslabyul you’re able to firmly stay rooted in your study sessions, regardless of what interesting topic the others might be discussing… Even if it does pain you to not be absorbing new information when it was right before you.

When Riddle is present for such events, he can’t help but feel a hint of a smile pulling at his lips. You were a good student, and after the events of his overblot, he can sympathise with wanting to take a break on occasion.

He tells you as much, to which you’re both surprised and touched. Sometimes he may even offer to teach you higher-level spells if you were curious enough - your work ethic is nothing to laugh at, after all. He respects your ability to explore new things so often, stepping out of your comfort zone and just holding your head high. You never flaunt your learned skills, but do share them with those in need… There is a nobleness in that which he associates with you.

Leona

Gods, at first he wasn’t even sure how you ended up in NRC with your bright demeanor - it was almost like the situation with Kalim again

But then… One day the Savanaclaw students picked a fight with you, and you very skillfully kept them back. You didn’t attack, only using defensive spells and maneuvering away. It was an odd sight, a lion not using its claws to strike.

Leona never intended to get close to you, he simply took this bit of information and filed it away. Instead it was Ruggie that approached you on occasion, trying to figure out what other cards you had up your sleeve. Once he tried to pick-pocket you, but was promptly caught. You laughed, mentioning that your uncles liked to play tricks on you, so you weren’t unaccustomed to a sudden loss of weight in your pockets.

You looked up to Leona, because for all his laziness he was skilled and somehow carried himself in a dignified manner. When you’re close enough that you admit this to him, he only scoffs, saying that you didn’t have to copy him to be powerful or dignified. It was smarter to work with what you’ve got - (with a smirk, as if taking a jab at you while complimenting you at once) you can make it work, even if your version was more ‘princely’, like those at RSA.

Azul

You liked to collect things. Random, curious things, ones that were out of date (Lilia has a fun time explaining some to you), things that you never saw outside of the Coral Sea, and even things that simply reminded you of a fond memory.

Azul was someone that helped supply these knick-knacks, you see, though he can never really pinpoint what kind of items you’d like. It was hard to predict after all, but the glimmer in your eyes when one catches your fancy is unmistakable.

While Azul is never one to let an opportunity for business to slink away, he at times grows concerned of where exactly you keep the items you bought from him. There were so many, and he was sure you had more - so where…?

The twins were more than happy to investigate - it turns out you transport them home every now and then, to join your ‘cave of treasures’. Color them more curious to visit now than ever.

You’re pretty agile in your mer-form, not to mention that your tail was the most beautiful shade of green… Azul is both jealous and awestruck when he sees you like that, especially because he was more accustomed to your kind and casual nature at school. Your singing voice is also another thing he can’t help but admire, it has a magical effect, able to calm the angriest of waves.

Some doodles I diddeled when my computer was updating.

“I always wear All Might shorts under my dresses and skirt!” Izuku beamed proudly as she showed Uraraka.

“Of course you do…” Uraraka let out a sigh at the sight of her friend in forml wear, showing off her under garments.

“We’re heroes in training!” Izuku held up her clenched fist, and grinned brightly. “I always have to be prepared!”

A Small Crush..

A mysterious wish materializes in the wishing well. Shall we take a look? 

The wish says: when Cheka has a crush on you.

Rook knows that he can’t compare to a small child. It appears the little one is charmed by you. He cannot deny the child’s persistence for your heart. The younger ones can be so bold and cheeky these days. 

He’ll let you play with the little one until Cheka grows tired of you. Don’t be surprised if Rook treats this as a sort of game. It is so amusing for him to see your flustered expression whenever he or Cheka tries to woo you. 

At the end of the day, whenever the little one is done with his ‘playtime’ with you, Rook would keep you to himself. The little one has nothing on the vice dorm leader. Besides, the love you and Rook share is something more than the love you and Cheka share. 

So Leona’s little nephew has something with you? He doesn’t mind it, as long as the little one doesn’t bother you too much. Although, he’d be concerned about Leona - why would his little nephew have a crush on you in the first place? Isn’t he the first in line to the throne? 

Jamil would have too many questions in his mind to the point of stress, and would need a breather. He should be more assertive in affirming his love for you; besides, the little tyke was being quite possessive of you every time he approached you two playing together. 

Little children are always like that.. Jamil reasons to himself. He can’t do anything to change the fact that Cheka has a crush on you. If anything, he’ll just wait until the kid is tired. 

Jack is just questioning why would Leona’s nephew take a fancy of you. Sure, you’re the charming individual who got him wrapped around your finger, but what did Cheka do to you to make him deserve your attention? 

Yeah, he’s jealous if you can’t tell. He’ll make it obvious, often pouting to you, being more active with you and Cheka, and just making it obvious. Well, he tries not to, so he won’t trouble you, but there was something about that kid that was pretentious and somehow got in his nerves. 

If anything, he’d just take you by the hand and hug you tightly on the spot. Heck, he might confess to you upfront. 

Sam has no words. How come a kid like Cheka would be so persistent into taking you as a partner? There had to be something special about you that he overlooked.. It would only be a matter of time before Cheka would sweep you up in his arms .. ( just kidding) 

Sam knew you can handle the kid, if Leona can’t contain him well enough. Sometimes, young children are so attached to their adult/ parent figures that they would wind up saying bold statements like this. All he could do was let you play with the kid. 

Sure, Cheka would demand Sam to leave you alone, but it was just him saying that. But, something inside Sam wanted to negotiate a deal with the child to see if he can last in such a deal with Sam.. But, alas, he is too young and innocent for his own good. 

“Babysit, they said. It’ll be fun, they said.”

Since I can’t seem to draw more than this today, have baby Hikari with Scarabia part 1 lol if you have any ideas, pls feel free to suggest lol
