Need To Redesign Xingqiu’s Mother, Father And Brother…

I love drawing Xingqiu with strong smile-eyes, they’re just so her - so soft, but also simultaneously showing a bit of that cheeky side to her^^

You know, it’s so crazy to think that at one point, they were not in my life at all - and the fact that it’s only been 4 years, and yet it feels like they‘ve been with me forever is just so… One day Genshin will end, and who knows what will happen then.. but what I do know at least, is that my love for them is eternal.

TODAY IS OFFICIALLY THE 4 YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF WHEN I FIRST FELL IN LOVE W/ CHONGQIU!! YIPPEE!!!!

One of my favourite things when it came to finally getting volume 1&2 back in August, was finding out Izuku’s hair is actually (and supposed to be) canonically curly. And it has been my favourite detail about him since, I love it SO much <3

It’s like late asf for me rn, and I just had the most insane ramblings to myself while listening to all of Xingqiu’s (menu) dialogue.

Like absolutely losing my shit over specific pieces of dialogue, with the small bit of connotations and implications, and what they could mean about her and her family, AND her family trouble’s (I love Xingqiu having awful family problems, she doesn’t like any of them <33) - and many other little quirks about her personality (she’s a fucking nerd)

I wish I could write down all of my ideas and hc’s that I have when it comes to the Feiyun family, and Xingqiu’s relationship with all of them… BECAUSE OH DO I HAVE SO MANY IDEAS.

Notes:

I have no interest in Genshin anymore, and only care about Chongyun & Xingqiu - I stole them from Hoyoverse and made them my ocs.

Her father is chinese (asian) & her mother is a black french woman (her mother was born and raised in Fontaine (France) and that’s where all of her mothers side of the family comes from) - but in short; Xingqiu is Blasian!

Okay so; I hc Xingqiu as NB-Transfem (non-binary + transfem) who uses she/they (but predominantly she/her) — but also, I refer to Xingqiu with terms and titles like; ‘(enby) girl’, ‘girlfriend’, ‘daughter’, ‘sister’, ‘miss’, etc. because I used those in a gender-neutral but feminine kind of way! - I’m sorry if that sounds confusing, it probably only really make sense to me (because that’s how I also use those words irl for stuff) so I understand if so, but just understand she ISN’T a binary-girl, she’s a fem nblm enby^^

Please note that I go HEAVY on hcs, and they’re all very personal and important to me, specifically. I’m just here having fun and making myself happy with what I love 🙇🙇🫶
