Movie rant, wth No spoilers, cause I just watched it earlier and I can not sleep
Why?!... Why didn't anyone warn me about how much of an ABSOLUTE tearjerker this movie is? All everyone said was that the voices didn't ruin the movie and that's it's "pretty good" I expected to come into an okay movie with stunning visuals, NOT to be spending half the movie crying my eyes out I... I think this has become my favourite movie. I'm not even that emotional often. Especially with other people in the room, but jfc, did it get the job done. Stunning visuals gripping narrative and fantastic sound design. Will other people probably not like it as much as I did? Oh, for sure! but srsly go watch it, it's still a great movie regardless
I'm honestly hoping they're going to be the Gertude and Leitner power duo we weren't able to see much of in mag archives
im spreading heinrich and alice becoming best friends propaganda i dont care i love him immediately and i want them to gossip
A cute little feature I wanted to add was a removable cape using velcro. Doing this was what had broken the machine in the first place....
....still worth it
The cape's nearly finished outside of some finishing touches, but my sewing machine has decided it doesn't like me very much and has stopped working.
Anyways, frustration aside, look at this little goober...
AS YOU MF SHOULD!!!
Cotl doll I made a year or two ago. Still very proud of him!
I'm making a plush of the lamb and the goat. But I have no idea how to make the section for the goat's cloak drenched? Like soaking a section in dye? Anyone who knows anything about this have any tips?
I haven't seen any other fan theories like this, but if anyone else thought of this first, please let me know.
Anyways, alchemy obviously plays a big part in the magic system of the protocol universe. And I've seen several people bring up that Celia mentioned the three primes of alchemy. Based on my very non-expert google knowledge, the three primes are salt, mercury, and sulfur. Salt represents the body, mercury represents the mind, and sulfur represents the soul.
In other words, physical horror, psychological horror, and existential horror. There are three fear entities in this universe; Salt, which is fear relating to the body/physical harm, Mercury, which is mental/emotional fears, & Sulfur, which is existential fears. This lines up pretty well with what Colin said:
This time, the way to keep the entities from entering our world is to keep them balanced. And based on what we've seen, the way to keep the balance is probably by sacrificing people to them.
This next part is a bit of a stretch & I don't expect it to be right. Something interesting I noticed, all the Externals we've met so far seem to be Salt-coded. Maybe the OIAR is only in charge of the salt part of the balance? What if the Hilltop Center and the Magnus Institute were in charge of the other two elements? Colin didn't mention what happens when there's too much salt, but we might see that for ourselves soon.
New update on the prototype!
So I'm going for a smaller torso and altered the hands so there more, I have also altered the design for the face. Now that I'm happy with the pattern I'm using, I'll start to move to incorporating Faux fur along with the ears, horns and crown
Oh! and as for the cape, since I plan on it being removable, I'm not looking to do anything until the actual plush/plushies are made
The cape's nearly finished outside of some finishing touches, but my sewing machine has decided it doesn't like me very much and has stopped working.
Anyways, frustration aside, look at this little goober...
Here's the updated prototype for the nari plush head. At first, I didn't like how big the ears are but I'm slowly warming up to them
*insert eldritch bleat*
I've finished reading. The only light left burning,
The moment it was revealed what pokemon the plush was, I immediately looked it up and...
..He does look like an Albie, doesn't he
