When James told Regulus, "I love you," Regulus ran away. He didn't think that he could be loved. He didn't think that he deserved to be loved. But of course, James, being who he is, tracks Regulus down and talks to him. He talks to him, and Regulus realises how lucky he is to have someone as amazing as James who loves him so much.
