Reblogging because it's so literal and metaphorical that it's starting to overrule my fiddlestan obsession

*Snatches my new son* Thank uuuuu :3
For the names, I would really like a Tigertail...and I'd like to keep them too. I've just always liked the name.
Not too proud of this one, oh well.. Hope you like it regardless :)
Woah...you did my girl so well
I really wanna draw cats interacting together more and by cats I mean Nightleaf, send cat OCs so they can cuddle, interact or something Please
You can give me a vague idea if you want but you don't have to
Hey everybody, I know I don't exactly post or interact often, but I really need to get this off my chest.
I will be taking a full break from Tumblr for a couple of weeks due to mental health issues and the passing away of one my close friends.
I will be stepping away from social media entirely and only using my phone for game breaks or Spotify, as I deal better with bad situations with music.
Thank you to everybody who has been kind and caring on my time on here. I will see you guys again sometime, but for now, it won't be soon.
Until then, have fun and stay creative, and make sure to do what is best for your mental health. Your mind and body will thank you for it one day, along with the people around you.
(Thank you to @theanoninyourinbox for inspiring these roles! If you want to see more roles like this, please go check out their amazing Longstar AU)
Leader
This cat essentially keeps their clan running smoothly and well. From assigning mentors, to giving apprentices their warrior roles, and even making second paws, leaders do it all. This role was heralded by Thunderstar, son of the Stars Leader Gray Wing, and first leader of the forest. This role also heralded the creation of the Second Paw.
Second Paw
The role of deputy in this AU, the Second Paw lives to directly run the menial tasks of the clan. They will do anything from assigning patrols to putting in a word for choosing mentors and apprentice's warrior roles and dealing with oncoming battles and wars. This role was heralded by a cat of an unknown clan named Sparrow Fur, who suggested it after her paranoid leader could trust nobody but her. This role also solved the leader crisis with Shadowclan's first leader, Shadowstar, after her untimely death.
Medicinist/Lead Medicinist
The role of a Medicine Cat in this AU, Medicinists are the healers of their clan. They are trained in the ways of herbs by their mentor, the Lead Medicinist, and will take on the role as soon as they have healed enough cats successfully. This role was herladed by Moth Flight, the first medicinist of Windclan, in her grief after losing a dear friend. Although suggested otherwise by Starclan, Moth Flight saw past her grief and, unlike in canon, allowed Medicinists mates and kits as long as:
1. There was a second Medicinist or Lead Medicinist to take the place of the Medicinist
2. There was a queen in the clan who could take up nursing the kits
3. The clan must let the kits know of their real parents alongside their foster
Record Keeper
The duty of a Record Keeper is one of the most valued and beloved roles of a clan. These cats keep the stories and legends alive for all cats, often either through word of mouth or written on stone tablets. These cats only pursue this role, as it takes up most of a cat's time in the clan. It is considered bad luck when a cat kills a Record Keeper, and that cat is rumored to be banished to the Dark Forest as punishment. This role was heralded by the Stars Leader, Gray Wing, to first keep record of his vile enemy Clear Sky, and to warn future cats to not repeat his deeds.
Warrior Roles
Warrior
This role is a general role that every cat fits in. It used to be its own term, but now is used as a general term when addressing every cat of the clan. Once on this own, this role encompassed all the rest into one. This role was also heralded by Thunderstar in memory of a tom named Lightning Tail, who has been shown in records of the ancients to 'have been Thunderstar's best friend since the beginning.'
Catcher
The catchers of the clan are the main hunters. They are specifically trained in tracking, catching, and retrieving the specific prey of their clan. They will also be trained to catch prey from other clans in the off chance it stumbles onto their side of the border. This role was heralded by a she-cat lost to time, but surviving records show she had a swiftness almost like the wind and a quick nose that could track any prey scent.
Patroller
Patrollers are the caretakers of the clan territory and the clan borders. They go out each day and mark the borders, making sure no cat from any clan has stepped out of line. They will report their findings to the leader, and are sometimes sent out on peace talks with Enforcers to reset clan borders with another patrol. This role was heralded by an ancient Shadowclan tom named Thorn, and some kits destined to be patrollers will have thorn in their names in honor of the Patroller Herald.
Semi-Patroller
The semi-patroller is one of the most populated roles in a clan. These are part time patrollers who are often out during midday, as the direct patrollers often go out in the dawn and dusk patrols. Semi-patrollers are also allowed in peace talks if they have the enforcer role as well. This role was heralded by Thorn's brother, Raven, and was the first time a cat had a second role.
Enforcer
Enforcers are the cats of the clan who make sure every cat is doing their role right. If they're not, let's just say they have their own ways of enforcing these things. Cats of this role are the closest to the leader, which has ended up with some corrupt cats using this role for power. The cat who heralded this role was a vile tom named Clear Sky whose existence besides name and vileness has been erased from records. He is slowly being forgotten, but not every cat wants to be forgotten. Especially not him.
Clawstriker
Clawstrikers are the cats in the clan most specialized in fighting. Although every cat, even the medicinists, receive battle training, the Clawstrikers receive the most battle training. They are sat in the front lines of battle and war, their pelts flanked with blood from prey as a sign of intimidation. This role was heralded by a mysterious warrior of Tigerclan, but many cats doubt this even with the lack of records of a clan cat who made this role.
Builder Gaurds
Builder Gaurds are the cats of the clan who gaurd and help rebuild the camp. Cats with this role will switch out with each other every few days to pursue their other roles, which are commonly Patrollers and Catchers, as they can be the most easily fluctuated. This role was heralded by a Windclan tom named Gorse Fur, who learnt the ways of a Builder Gaurd from a mysterious tom only recorded as Branch.
Temporary roles
Mentor
A mentor is a temporary role that lasts for about a few moons. These cats will teach an apprentice in their line of work, with input of the kit's interests and skills before their mentor has been chosen. If a mentor has been deemed as not the best cat for the apprentice to be taught by, the apprentice has the choice to switch mentors or keep their original mentor. When a cat has finished their training, their mentor and a cat from each role the apprentice has been taught in will oversee their assessment and see if they're ready. This role was heralded by Riverstar, who mentored the first apprentice, a cat named Soft Furze.
Queen
Queens are the mothers of the kits in the clan. They watch over and protect the young until they are six moons of age, when they become apprentices in the clan. After this, the queens will return to warrior duties after a few days of recovery in the Healer's Den. Foster queens will also care for a medicinst's kits if the medicinist is a she-cat. This role was harolded by Violet Dawn, the mate of Thunderstar, along with the first Medicinist Moth Flight.
Role Fill-ins
Sometimes, when there isn't enough of a cat in a role or too many cats in one role die at once, a cat will temporarily fill in that role. They will be taught by a temporary mentor, the cat who has currently been in the role the longest. After a cat has filled their time in the temporary role, they will return to their regular duties. There is also the chance the leader will assign them this role if there isn't enough cats in the role by 6 moons.
Alright, that's all! This was certaintly a long post, but I wanted to get it out while I could! Like I said, please go check out my friend theanoninyourinbox's Longstar AU, as I can only give them credit for the roles idea.
Y'know, it's funny that I have so much more changes and fun stuff in my Omen of the Stars part of the revision fic instead of the Power of Three section. This includes:
Ivypool (The only one I'm covering here right now)
• Briarivy. Briarlight joins Thunderclan as a 'paw with her siblings from Riverclan and bonds with Ivy and Dove. After Briar's accident, Ivypool is one of the main cats, along with Dovewing, to keep her spirits up. Then they get together, and Fernsong surrogates when they're ready to have kits. He also looks after the kits while the two do their jobs and be gay.
• She and Dovewing stay close. When their younger, they kind of look eerily similar, and some cats say they could be twins. They kind of come up with this mindset that 'twins are supposed to be close, and I care about you a lot, so I'll try my best to still be a good sister even if we have our differences.' This works extra better when Dovepaw convinces Firestar to allow Ivypaw on the journey with, making their bond solidified with fun memories.
• Going on the journey also means Ivypaw meets Blackpaw, a tuxedo cat Windclan apprentice who comes along on the journey to the beaver dam with his mentor Sedgewhisker because of a thing where they get to bring three cats along instead of two. They basically start being friends when Blackpaw is scared to cross a wet, slippery log, and Ivypaw, who feels bad for the scared apprentice, leads him along by her tail. After this, they talk a lot and end up being friends when they get home. They also train in the Dark Forest together and with that comes angst and tension and friendship.
• Ivypool forms a little friend group with Briarlight, Blossomfall, Dovewing, Blackheart, and Poppyfrost. They stick together and begin protecting the clans together, making up a sort of gaurd that you might remember the name of if you've seen a certain on the Disney Channel:the Lion Gaurd.
• Hawkfrost is not evil. He was a misguided cat who tried to help Brambleclaw atone for his actions and save Firestar from the fox trap Tigerstar's spirit set up, but Brambleclaw accidentally stakes him in the throat while trying to do it to his father. Hawkfrost trains Ivypool in battle moves, but makes her promise to always believe in the good in her heart and to be a good sister. This greatly helps Ivypool and Dovewing's relationship as it incentives them to stick together and figure out everything together.
I can explain more about the Omen of the Stars section and what the changes are/really would be if you guys want. Until then, see ya soon!
Some people are gay, some people are bi, and some people are Bill Nye The Science Guy.
What did we do to deserve Bill Nye

I'm celebrating Christmas with my family but make an excuse to leave and watch as the bomb I put in my niece's new toy robot dog explode when they turn it on.
your first column of emojis describes your personality! what’s yours?
Guys is it a bad sign that even the softest of a particular person's singing makes you want to kill yourself, but not that it's emotional and is just because it's so annoying and ear-rottingly terrible that it feels like the only way to escape its unyielding annoyingness is to end it all before your own vocal cords wither into soundless dust at the mere note of their tune?
I had to try this game because I have ideas in my very busy mind
