Sometimes I’m looking for something online - often “how to” articles - and I want to filter for - like - a website that was clearly built in 2010 at the latest, which may or may not have been updated since then, but contains a vast wealth of information on one topic, painstakingly organized by an unknown legend in the field with decades’ worth of experience. I don’t want a listicle with a nice stolen picture in a slideshow format written by a content aggregator that God forgot. I want hand-drawn diagrams by some genius professor who doesn’t understand SEO at all, but understands making stir-fries or raising stick insects better than anyone else on this earth. I don’t know what search settings to put into Google to get this.

touch-starvation needs to be written with emphasis on the starving part. you are hungry to be touched. so hungry that even the very taste of it makes you nauseous. it has been long since anything has ever touched you, ever fed you - that your body has grown more used to that gnawing emptiness more than anything else. it's better for you to be held, to eat but it makes you sick to try. you know

my biggest issue with tiktok is like…yes as a 25 year old i am going to find teenagers inherently annoying so whatever. but that doesn’t mean teenagers shouldn’t have the opportunity to connect with each other and share content and explore media etc etc. HOWEVER i think tiktok sets an insane and dangerous precedent of having your Actual Face And Voice in these posts that are ultimately pretty publicly accessible to anyone. like, teenagers deserve to have spaces in which they can be cringey and embarrassing and weird and nerdy but for everyone’s sakes it should be fairly anonymous…i shudder to think of the world in which every unhinged thing i ever posted about glee or sherlock or hp or whatever had my dumb little 14 year old face attached to it for anyone to see over a decade later.

I think some of you forgot that autistic people sometimes act strange and say things that are poorly worded and speak with incorrect tone and misunderstand or miss social cues because they are autistic
