Idk if im gonna be able to explain it well but I just remembered gillions wanted poster originally being like a drawing of a fish and I feel like that was used as a joke, but it could also be meant to show that the navy literally do not see gillion and his people as people they just see him as a fish. so just putting a fish in a suit of armor is enough to show that it's him which also most likely put other tritons at risk because “they’re all the same aren’t they?”
