people who don't experience hyperfixation don't know what it feels like to hyperfixate so much on something that it becomes not only your subject of obsession but also your source of happiness and literally the main reason why you still keep going; literal source of strength and life.

shoutout to my favorite fictional characters, favorite people, favorite ships, favorite movies, favorite tv shows, fanfics and archive of our own

Hello, my name is Hani Hamid and I am from Gaza. I am writing to you with a heavy heart. I now live in the northern part of Gaza. I was shot in the knee and it caused a catastrophic condition for my leg. I am unable to walk at all. I need urgent and urgent treatment. I have three children, Abdullah, 12 years old, Salma, 10 years old, and Saleh, 7 years old, and my wife Nour, 33 years old. Unfortunately, our house was bombed and destroyed during the initial events, which caused severe psychological and physical damage to me and my family due to the catastrophic situation we are currently living in. My family and I are suffering from a severe shortage of food, supplies and medical supplies, in addition to the high prices that make it difficult to meet our basic needs. We cannot even obtain clean drinking water. The loss of our homeland has exacerbated our suffering, and our daily lives have become a constant struggle for survival.

Please Don't Skip Me πŸ™πŸ»πŸ‡΅πŸ‡Έ

The Urgent Need to Leave Gaza Given the current deteriorating situation, it is imperative for me and my family to leave Gaza as soon as possible once the Rafah border crossing with Egypt opens. I hope it will open soon, and we need to raise the necessary funds quickly to ensure our safe passage. The cost of exiting Gaza through the Rafah crossing is approximately $5,000 per person. Family details and financial requirements Our family consists of 5 members. The total amount needed for safe passage is calculated as follows: - *5 people x $5,000 = $25,000* - And the cost of the operation for my feet needs $10,000 In addition to the travel costs, we need funds to secure temporary housing and basic necessities once we leave Gaza. Therefore, we aim to raise a total of *$70,000* to cover these immediate and urgent needs.

Donations will be used to: - Cover the costs of getting out of Gaza for the entire family. - Surgery for my foot. - Securing temporary housing and providing basic necessities such as food, water, and medical supplies upon exit. - Assisting with initial resettlement expenses until we can find more permanent solutions. Time is of the essence, and we urgently need to raise $70,000 to ensure safe passage and a future for me and my family. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a huge difference in our lives. We appreciate your support and generosity and thank everyone who can help or share our story. God bless you. With all my appreciation and thanks, Hani .

Please donate via this link πŸ‘‡Share, dear, may God bless you.

Not telling your kid they have a learning disability, chronic illness, mental illness etc. so they can β€œfeel normal” actually does the opposite. They will not feel normal if they do not have the context to understand that their normal will be different from that of their peers.

i will never forgive the internet for making the phrase β€œfiction affects reality” inherently suspicious because like fiction absolutely does affect reality in the sense that the themes and messages of media can challenge or affirm people’s biases, it can impact one’s ideology, so much of fiction is commentary on real social issues

and yet! everyone who uses the phrase fiction affects reality is using it as a pro-censorship argument and i simply do not fuck with that
