It was really neat seeing all the graffiti assets in antonblast including the ones from the contest! Here's Annie wearing a sweater with the design I submitted. Congrats to everyone involved!
for the love of god please listen to old users when we say this site works differently. that you canβt just sit around with a blank blog. make posts or reblog, but do something at least. this site works because we donβt have an unavoidable garbage algorithm forcefeeding us posts based on our likes. we do not need another fucking twitter, tiktok or instagram.
Fun Fact: opossums have so low of a body temperature that rabies can't survive in its body. Don't worry, you probably just spooked it into playing dead
Today I sat in unbeknownst close proximity to an opossum that was either afflicted with rabies, or that I had frightened nearly to death.
I'm assuming the latter because it literally looked dead β eyes open, not breathing, slightly bloated β and only moved when I left the area. As I am aware this behavior is an entirely involuntary state of shock, no wonder it walked a little... er, wobbly, when it finally recovered.
Still, I called as many wildlife hotlines as I could, given I've rarely seen an opossum active diurnally, and I'm hoping for the best for the critter I likely scared into catatonia.

guys i actually beg of you to not let palestine become an unpleasant flashback, a transient tumblr trend, a hasbeen subject that just faded away. as an arabβand specifically iraqiβgirl, i know what it feels like to have family displaced all over the world as a result of western imperialism. i know what it feels like to not be able to step foot into your homeland because itβs no longer safe. as an american iraqi, raised in the us and insulated from my roots, it wasnβt until last summer that i was able to visit iraq for the first time, and even then my family was worried for my safetyβin my own blood country. although nothing like what palestinians are experiencing right now, it might be the tiniest semblance of what it feels like to watch your country disintegrate in front of you.
and this is a universal arab experience. i volunteer weekly at a refugee center that serves middle eastern refugees, and every day i see the longing in their eyes when they speak of where they hail from. itβs safe to say that we will be getting a wave of palestinian refugees very soon: just another generation of arabs who canβt inhabit their own country.
arab culture is so rich, so profound, so beautiful. i am tired of being told by the worldβthrough literal genocideβthat it doesnβt mean anything. please never let this be forgotten. free palestine. free palestine. free palestine.
why play Starfield when you could read Garfield
It's why you shouldn't draw or write anything while stoned because you _will_ hate it when you sober up
weed doesnβt make your thoughts more creative or deep it just lowers your standards for thoughts that you find mindblowing imo.
