Do you think Sirius had a favorite cousin in canon? If so, who?
We are told it's Andromeda, I'd have liked proof or more mention of it, of why. Was it just because she married a muggleborn? I mean that is an implication she was more open minded than her family. That being said... I go with Bellatrix. I can see them with being similar gravitate to each other. I love picturing her being a lil devious one teaching Sirius all sorts of spells, showing him pranks she did. But rarely ever getting caught. Despite her leaning into pureblood views, I also see her have her own sort of rebellion, esp as a woman who doesn't settle back, she gets in the middle of things. I can see Sirius admiring that about her even if won't admit it. (Of course Andy rebelled too but I think it wasn't the same, different type of rebellion.) This is all hc, no one come at me. Hahahah, have to add disclaimers to everything. XD I build my hcs around canon but I honestly love Bellatrix so I favour hcs that have her in it. Sorry, Andy.

Cobra Kai. Season 6 Episode 12. "She say she loves me. As a friend. Her heart lies somewhere else."
James: Why don’t you just tell Marlene how you feel about her?
Remus: James had to ask Lily at least a hundred times.
James: And guess what, we’re married now.
Remus: Exactly, what have you got to lose?
Sirius: Her.

reblog to tell a 14 year old that these are the very, very hard years and they're not wrong to feel the way they do.
Simple, genuine goodness is the best capital to found the business of this life upon. It lasts when fame and money fail, and is the only riches we can take out of this world with us.

This is brilliant acting right here. You can see the EXACT moment he sees Harry and realizes that he has his mother’s eyes. You can see what Snape was thinking; the moment he sees Harry, he probably just thought that he was going to be arrogant, immature, and exactly like how James Potter used to be.
But then Harry turns his face and looks at him. They make eye contact, and the realization hits him like a ton of bricks. He has Lily’s eyes.
And let’s not forget this was the first movie. Bravo Alan Rickman.
Sleeping Beauty (1959)
Sweet princess, if through this wicked witch’s trick, a spindle should your finger prick… a ray of hope there still may be in this, the gift I give to thee. Not in death, but just in sleep, the fateful prophecy you’ll keep. And from this slumber you shall wake, when true love’s kiss, the spell shall break.
