Finally revealing what our plan for the credits was! this project was initially much smaller, in 2021 i was going to do a fake gifset with fake refsheets and fake screenshots of what an Inky mystery cartoon could have looked like. You will notice some of the gifs above look older in artstyle for that reason(I believe only the first three were made this year, in 2024, so please forgive the old art). I had even more gifs planned, as well, of other scenes in the fanfic. After my dear friend Star arrived to the server and talked about it as an actual cartoon, we began brainstorming and working together for the pilot, with Star eventually hopping off and WhatsaFelony hoping in. I decided, then, that i could pay an homage to that, and play through the credits these gifs, but now fully animated.

One of them is animated by me, but the others are all by other incredible animators, such as Perri, Draco, Carbonatedfrog/onyxmistkes, Insane masquerade, Toby, Bunnianimates, Brainyrot, and a guest animator Gazela de pijama.

Now that we are reaching the end of the project, with our audios being 6/12 done, and have officially recieved all of the storyboards, we wanted to first post the original sketchy versions, so everyone could reconize the charm these fantastic animators have brought on(Perri for example, added even more energy and desperation to his gif, while Gazela's even more cartoony and fluid, Draco added a cute tail movement that was so expressive, i made the trembling of the hand more obvious and fixed the expressions, Carbonated added gorgeous details that only help to make the characters feel even more alive, and so on!) once the pilot comes out, in the half of august!

When we reach august, we will do a poll on discord to set up a date of the week for our stream to happen, and for us all to watch and comment together. I hope to see you all in there!

I made a little animation of the toon version of my mascot Bleak. I got the idea to animate her either drawing or reading while she's listening to music from headphones. This was animated on FlipaClip and was set as 8 FPS and only has 8 FPS.

Hey, have you ever seen the Bendy and Boris: Quest for the ink machine comic, and wondered "this has potential, but it could be better...if only there was a continuation!"

May I recommend you the fanfic "Inky mystery?"

Inky mystery was written by ThatAnimatedPhantom and Mercowe, and found on AO3. It takes the world of quest, and not only does it expand on it, but it also greatly improves it. We begin the story following Bendy and Boris, two poor mechanics that live on a small town and work in a mechanic shop for Pete. One day, a mysterious, frenetic and crazy owl gets into their lives, speaking of a thing he calls "The ink illness". The owl claims to be followed, and so needs to warn them of the illness as fast as he can, as he knows Bendy to have the ink illness. Bendy, believing to have brought a homeless stranger that probably ran away from a mental hospital into his home, decides to kick him out and go back to his job. Things calm down until, on his job, he is framed for a car accident, getting fired from his job, that a few days later would mysteriously catch fire as if he was being targeted. As he hunts for a new job, he stumbles on the sight of the owl, now dead after having runned for his life as if being chased, and Bendy not much after that finds out that not only is the Ink illness and ink machine real, but he and his brother are also being targeted, and have to hunt for the cure(the ink machine parts), with the clock ticking between whether they'll get caught by those targeting them, whether Bendy will die from the illness, or whether they'll get arrested by the police first.

The story takes everything quest had stablished and creates a rich and unique world with higher stakes at every new machine piece found, and every month that goes by with Bendy's illness getting worse. It has drawn in the attention of those who both like quest, and those who had read it when young and used to like it but now hate it, both demographics finding richness on the story especially as the writing improves over the years.

If you have not read it yet, I highly recomend it! and if i have not convinced you, then come back here on christmas, where we will have released the full animated pilot of the beggining chapters, with slight re-writes made by Whatsafelony and Patchwork system! The pilot is a few months into production as of currently (31/3/24), and it is looking wonderful and filled with talented artists! It will be worth the watch!
