Nameless Week - Days 5 & 6: Sharing beds and Honeymoon.

Disc: This is my first time actually writing something, also my english is not perfect yet, so I might not be able to describe things correctly and I suck at describing emotions and so ;-; 

Warnings: I’m not sure? I’d say this has some nsfw implied but nothing that explicit, sorry if this is inaccurate ;w;

Well, finally. Said Green with a sigh at the end.

And how couldn’t he be tired? Travelling to Alola was a very long flight; probably the most exhausting of all the previous ones. Not to mention the jet lag they will start to experience in a no so short amount of time.

Red dropped the luggage aside the bed and so did Green. Pikachu was the first one to give that wide and comfy looking bed a try. Green, by other hand, had decided to carry Eevee on her Pokeball when they landed at the previous scale. So she wouldn’t be as tired as the lil yellow buddy was.

Soon, Pikachu was dead asleep in one of the fluffy pillows.

This little guy was indeed exhausted, Red. You should have got him into his pokeball when we last landed before taking this plane. Preached the hazel eyed guy, softly.

Red gave Green the look of a child who has been scolded by a sweet mother who was always right.

The taller one took his cap off , sat on one of the bed’s edges and took a deep breath, resting his face on both of his hand palms. Green looked at Red, subtle smiling and sat beside him.

I told you it was okay to sleep in the plane, as I did.

Green hated to sound as an overprotective mom whenever Red ignores his suggestions. But can’t help it. Since Mt. Silver, Green decided to always take care of Red, no matter what. Without hesitations.

Brush your teeth and let’s go to sleep. I’ll take care of the luggage.

Red shaked his head in negation, patted Green’s shoulders and stood up. Green gave him an indignation look

“You naughty kiddo”

Then, both unpacked their stuff and made themselves at the hotel room between in-jokes and silly games of their own. Having fun together as always. They had a good time organizing their stuff and realizing they forgot some on Kanto. Once they found Pikachu’s bed, Red took him carefully and settle him in there. The yellow little one didn’t seem to have light sleep.

Later, the married couple got a video call from Professor Oak, making sure everything was okay. He also let them know that Samson could help them if needed.

After a long questioning and advice giving, Green’s grandfather finally said goodbye.

Have fun and take care. Added Prof Oak, winking. Oh! Red, don’t forget what we’ve talked last week, huh?

Red blushed.

And Green, I don’t want to hear you have been bad with little kids! Battle them properly! Don’t be so harsh, remember where you come from. Okay?

Green clicked his tongue and frowned as he looked away. “Guess being the mom is hereditary.”

Have a sweet honeymoon, by the way!

The videochat ended.

For Arceus Sake! Gramps almost asked us if we were wearing underwear! Grumbled. Also, what with that “don’t forget what we’ve talked last week” thing, huh, Red? Questioned the guy with hazel eyes, lifting a brow.

Red put on a shocked face and denied with his hands. Green sighed in resignation.

Anyways, let’s go to sleep, dear.

Green trailed his hand down his husband’s forearm and over the back of his hand, making his way to hold hands with Red. They were right in front of their bed, and now they both had a question.

Which side of the bed you want? both asked in unison, immediately turning around and giving a funny look at each other. Both laughed until they felt the need to take a deep breath, then, exchanged a shy look.

This wasn’t indeed the first time they shared a bed, they have been doing this since childhood. But now things are different, both are adults, not only that, they’re married. Even so, they have been very busy with their own stuff and couldn’t go on a honeymoon before, and now the time has come. They have been invited to Alola as special guests for the Battle Tree, that was the first reason they left Kanto. But it was Red’s suggestion to make this travel their honeymoon too.

Green usually chooses to sleep beside the wall because he moves a lot when sleeping, so Red takes the other side to prevent him to fall off of the bed. But this bed wasn’t placed beside a wall, so it made things a little complicated.

So, which side you choose? Asked Green putting his hand on his hips, his typical pose.

Red made a gesture with his lips, as saying that he’s okay with either side. Green lifted both brows as getting what his husband was trying to tell him with that gesture.

Fine then, I’ll go with this side.

Green got in the bed and covered himself with the blankets, choosing the right side of the mattress. Then, he looked ahead and saw Red starting to take off his shirt. Green’s cheeks turned red.

W-What are you doing?

After a couple of seconds, he realized they were still wearing their clothes. “Ah, but of course” said the blushy boy to himself, embarrassed.

Can you pass me my paja-

Red crawled into bed and lay down beside Green, cuddling him before he could even finish talking.

Babe, please, you are gonna catch a cold if you don’t put on some clothes to sleep.

There he goes again, acting like Red’s mom even in situations like that. Alola has pretty hot weather so the conditioned air on the room was very cold to make a balance. You need to have perfect health for -

Can I? Asked Red with a soothing voice.

Green got it.

The fact that Red always asks permission to start that kind of things always makes Green’s heart pound faster, he didn’t even feel like saying some stupid comment as “But of course, you dork! I’m your hubby, duh” as he would in a normal situation. Green knew this was a serious, no, a sacred moment for Red, even for him. It wasn’t their first time or anything, but this was their honeymoon and that made things more embarrassing for him, though Red seemed to be perfectly calmed. Green turned around and nodded in response. Then, closed his eyes.

So the taller one then began to unbutton Green’s black shirt, slowly. Green slightly opened his eyes, as peeking shyly at what Red was doing, cheeks blushing fire red.  He has always admired the delicacy with which Red treat him, not only in moments like this. That makes his heart race and his tummy feel as if a lot of Butterfrees were trapped in there. Just as a teenager.

When done, Red kissed his husband on the forehead and got closer to his face. They both looked at each other as the precious treasure they are for each other. He smiled, so did Green.

Red isn’t a talkative person, but lots of things happen in his mind. He could only think of how beautiful his husband’s eyes looked when they caught some light reflections from the lamps that enlighten the room. It was as if Red could look through them and see directly to Green’s soul.

And it was beautiful.

Green then reached Red’s hands, entwining fingers. His gaze turned softer. 

Green was completely vulnerable now. When it comes to Red, he wouldn’t hide behind that cocky and sassy attitude of him, but instead being himself: a quite sensitive and adorable boy with an enormous heart, filled with lots of love towards his husband. That was the real Green Oak, the one that only Red and professor Oak has gotten to know. Red is very grateful with Green for letting him know his real self.  

Later, it was the hazel eyed boy who would start brushing his lips against Red’s, as if they were the canvas in which Green will paint his feelings on. The lack of oxygen caused them to briefly break the kiss, when both filled their lungs with each other’s breath, Red started tracing Green’s cheek with his thumb, touring then his neck, stopping by the shoulder and caressing in circular motions. Green had his eyes closed again, suddenly, he felt his shoulder even warmer than before. Smooches and soft bites were the next sensations he could perceive. Red had taken the sleeve off of him, leaving his husband’s shoulders and half of his back free. Green felt the need to lay down on his tummy when he sensed Red’s kisses making their way to his back. And so he did.

So, once he got Green’s shirt off, Red began to leave a path of kisses as stars in a constellation along Green’s back. Red was willing to kiss each of Green’s freckles, he won’t let any centimeter free of his kisses.

Not having enough with that, Red wrote his name using the tip of his index finger as brush and his husband’s spine as parchment paper. When reaching his lower back, Green shivered and let out a little moan. Red chuckled. Green has always had funny reactions when someone touches that area, as when someone touches your hair and you are off guard, it kind of tickles.

Don’t make fun of me, you idiot!

Green used his arms to rise himself a little in protest, then sat frowning and pouting softly. Red got close to him and kissed his cheek as an apologize, then hugged him tight.

According to Green, being loved by Red is the best thing of being alive.

Red feels the same way towards Green. Being able to love him and feeling his love was the only reason why he left that mountain.

Leader Keith and Shiro’s “favoritism” for him

Man, I see so many people having like no faith in Keith’s leadership abilities and so many cries of “anyone but Keith for black lion!” haha, so I just wanna point some stuff out.

See, Shiro actually has alot of nerve saying this to Keith after what happened last season..

Remember this:

Remember how no one listened to Keith here? And you know what happened? 

They failed. 

If Thace didn’t interfere they would have all been captured by the Galra and Zarkon would have gotten Voltron. 

Their plan sucked, and Shiro was clearly acting out of emotion, going against his own better judgement. (Because he was probably scared that whatever happened to him would happen to Allura or something, too broken about having more of his teammates captured by the Galra on his watch I dunno.)

Don’t think that Shiro missed the fact that they all got out of there in one piece just by pure luck and nothing else.

Maybe he’s sayin there to Keith “don’t be like me” or “I know you’re better than this” on the way to the BoM base..

And remember this:

You know what would have happened if Keith listened to Shiro? Shiro wouldn’t have made it in time to the black lion and Zarkon would have gotten it, and then they would have lost Voltron.

(Maybe going against Zarkon on his own like that was rash and emotionally driven (for some mysterious reason..), but it was the right thing to do in that situation.) 

And did you notice how everytime Shiro is out of commission (which happens ALOT), Keith immediately steps in?

Did you notice how Keith is constantly worried about Shiro and how many times he has to go “Shiro are you ok?” but Shiro doesn’t really do that with Keith? How Shiro always has nothing but blind faith that Keith can do anything? (compared to the other paladins too, because Shiro does believe in all of them)

(and yeah I kno Keith dun got PTSD.. and Shiro does an amazing job keeping it together despite what he’s been through.. But having a leader that freezes up so much at unexpected moments during battles is usually not exactly a safe thing for the team… (although he seems to get better in season 2..) And I think It might be hard to notice just how bad Shiro is doing and how seriously he’s affected by what happened to him and how he was probably not the best choice for leader at that point, like he got most of team voltron fooled I’m sure alot of viewers were fooled aswell haha, I mean I haven’t really seen many ppl say anything about Shiro not being exactly the perfect leader for Voltron after season 1 aired..)

And you kno, I’m not even talking season two, like the way Keith is with Hunk there in “belly of the weblum”. Keith’s leadership abilities show so early on in the show I’m surprised people seem to miss it

Really, I can’t be the only one that during my first watch of Voltron (before I even saw the 80′s one) that was thinking “Why the hell is Keith not the leader? Why is this Shiro guy the leader?”

Like yeah, Keith’s decisions are rash (although logical), and he’s a very “strive for contact” kind of guy, and pretty harsh on the team, but it’s obvious it’s only because he cares so much about what they’re doing (and really wants to prove himself I guess.)

And honestly, I would feel way safer following a guy like Keith than a guy like Shiro, because Shiro just makes me worried all the time haha (and he’s so soft..) While Keith, Keith really seems like someone that can do anything. No matter how hopeless the situation is and how all the odds are against him, he’ll manage to make things work somehow. Just by pure determination. AND HE MAKES SENSE. (although he does need help with figuring out ways to do things other than just facing em head on haha)

And really, I think his decisions have been better than Shiro’s so far.. (to the point I was wondering why Keith is the one who follows Shiro and not the other way around. I’m sorry, I just dun get why he really needs Shiro besides for Shiro to hold him back, he’s clearly not depended on him and has no trouble doing anything on his own, (his problem is maybe just doing too much haha)

And this is kinda what I think Shiro sees in Keith too. 

Like, this whole episode

That seemed to me like it was about Shiro realizing he really fucked up as a leader. They are scattered across the universe, he is dying, they dunno where the lions are and if the rest of them are even alive. Maybe in this moment Shiro was thinking “You know what, maybe I should have listened to Keith and not gone on this mission..”

Anyway, bottom line:

I think Shiro admires Keith alot, and I think he knows Keith has something in him that he himself doesn’t have, and I think he looks up to Keith just as much as Keith looks up to him.

And maybe this is exactly why Keith’s faith in him really touches him and is so important to him, because it comes from a person he really admires. It’s different from the blind faith the other team members have in him. Keith can see his mistakes, Keith can see his weakness, and he is still able to see something in Shiro that I think makes Shiro have faith in himself. 

And that’s what good leaders do. They encourage and inspire people to be and do their best. 

Kinda like what Shiro does for Keith too.. (They pretty much have an equal exchange there, but I think the “space dad” fanon thing has just completely blinded everyone.)

And you know, I dun think Shiro wants Keith to follow him anymore, I think he wants to follow Keith’s lead instead.

and I couldn’t agree more! Keith’s got what it takes.

The implications of what Gyro thinks of Johnny's physical appearance are obvious.

8) Gyro sacrifices his hand, his only other point of reference for the Golden Rectangle, in order to save Johnny from a hit he probably could have tanked. Even Gyro looks a little surprised at himself... Also, they are all over each other this arc. Gyro is especially protective.

9) Once it's revealed that Valentine intends to kill the rest of the racers (at least the ones who pose a threat to him), and makes an attempt on Johnny's life, Gyro attempts to convince Johnny to drop out, implying that he would drop out with him.

Of course, this is immediately followed by Johnny begging Gyro to, at the very least, help Lucy and see what she knows about the corpse parts. Seeing Johnny's distress at being so close to his goal only to have it snatched away from him convinces Gyro to stay in the race (something that will ultimately get him killed) and theorize how they can use the spin to defeat Valentine (via the stirrups). He tries to play it off but goddamn he is in love with him.

Chapter 72: Ticket to Ride (Part 2)

Johnny refuses, not because of any moral quandary about saving the life of an evil man, but because the Gyro brought back would not be the same. On top of that, he recognizes Valentine as a liar.

When it's all over, Johnny just breaks.

Okay but listen

Some people sadly hate Shidge or don’t ship Pidge with anyone. Ladies, Dudes - because of the age difference.  But they don’t know about original golion - voltron where Allura (Fala) was 16 and Keith (Akira) was 20 and they were in love. Very in love.  I decided to trust wikipedia. Just because i don’t have alternative source of information.    It’s just 4 years difference between them, and Allura from golion is only 2 years older than Pidge from VLD, if VLD wikia is correct about age. ALLURA WAS 16 in love with 20 year old boy. This is it. I see no problems with Pidge ships.

Green finally flips and lifts his marker board to show it to the group and they all gasp.

“No way.”

“That’s not true, is it?”

Red lifts his as well, smiling sheepishly.

A few of them make faces, but Brock just starts laughing hysterically.

“I can’t believe your favorite movie is ‘The Princess Bride’.”

Green narrows his eyes, “It’s my favorite too,” he looks at Red and nods, “And we’ll defend it until the day we die.”

“Okay, okay,” Misty cuts in, smacking Brock’s leg to get him to stop, “Red, it’s your turn.”

Red and Green clear their boards and Red looks determined as Misty flips the card over.

“What is the first thing your spouse would buy if they won the lottery?”

Red doesn’t even hesitate. They both start writing and then Red flips his board to show everyone.

“Okay, I can’t argue that, I’m pretty sure that’s true,” Misty says and Green turns his board.

‘Buy a second house in Alola’.

Red smiles as him and Green high-five one another.

“God, I can’t believe you two really know each other that well,” Misty says in disbelief, “Okay, okay, we only have one more card.”

Green and Red tense.

“This one is for Green,” she starts as she reads the card, “Okay, Green… what is Red’s favorite part of your body?”

Green laughs but starts writing immediately.

He doesn’t notice that Red’s gone completely still, tilting his head slightly and then looking at Green before finally writing down his answer.

Green turns his and they all make ‘aww’ sounds.

‘Lips’

Red finally stops and looks up, glancing at it and frowning.

Green lifts a brow, “What? I’m wrong?” he asks in surprise, “Holy shit am I actually wrong?”

Red turns his board, and it’s easy to see where he wrote ‘lips’, but then marked it out.

Misty starts choking on her soda and a few of the others make wolf whistles.

Green blushes and takes it away, covering it, “Oh my God, what am I supposed to do with you?” then he lowers his voice, “Why my butt? I mean… it’s so small and your’s is-”

Red makes a few signs with his hands and Green flushes furiously.

“You’re lucky they don’t understand signing.”

“I understood some of it,” Brock speaks up and they look at him, “I can’t believe you just said you like eating his ass.”

Green groans miserably and gets up, knocking into the table before leaving the room.
