Sweven (Tamaki x Reader)

Fic Type: Oneshot Fandom: My Hero Academia Pairing: Tamaki Amajiki x Reader Prompt: “Do you want to watch the stars?” Word Count: 854 words

“Hey.” A voice filled Tamaki’s ears, it sounded so distant. When he opened his eyes the world around him was hazy. In an instant, his eyes found your ( e/c )  eyes. “Are you alright?” You spoke softly to your drowsy friend. Gently moving his bangs from out of his eyes, you smiled warmly at him. He hid his face with his hands in order to avoid your gaze. The fact that his head was resting on your lap caused his face to heat up.  “Y-Yes..I’m sorry.” He sat up, removing his head from your thighs. He looked around taking in his surroundings. You two were currently sitting in the grass outside the dorms. “Did... I fall asleep outside?” You let out a giggle that you muffled with your hands. You turned your gaze upwards to the sky. It was painted a vibrant red-orange blend. The clouds looked so hauntingly beautiful to you. If only you had your camera. You would’ve taken a picture to capture the lovely scenery and use it as a reference for your paintings. But for now, you’ll need to settle for a mental picture.

“Come on silly, it’s basically dark out.” You stood up and brushed off some excess debris that was on your dark green skirt. You extended a hang to your friend who seemed to be avoiding your eyes. He accepted your helping hand and fidgeted with the end of his blazer to distract him from the fact that you’re touching him. “Um...are we going inside now?” It was indeed getting late but you didn’t want to leave his side. You would never admit it but his presence gave you immense comfort. “I actually have another idea! Do you want to watch the stars?” You asked grinning at him. With a small nod of his head, you began to drag him with you up the stairs. Not once letting go of his hand. 

You two entered the elevator and he pressed the button to the roof. ‘Maybe I should bring my camera.’ You thought to yourself. “Wait a sec!” You said as you pushed the number that was your floor. Once the doors open, you rushed out and ran into your bedroom to search for the camera. At the time you were finished you made your way back to the elevator. ‘Hmm. He should be on the roof by now.’ You tapped your lips with your index finger as you were lost in thought. You almost didn’t see the doors of the elevator open, revealing Tamaki still standing in there waiting for you. “💙?” Your eyes widen and you rubbed the back of your neck, laughing in shame. “I’m sorry, I happened to be thinking.” 

You stood next to him and he pressed the roof number again. The rest of the ride up was silent as you naturally drifted off in your thoughts. While you were thinking about photo presets to use, Tamaki was thinking about how he missed the feel of your hand in his. Though, he didn’t want to overstep a boundary and make you uncomfortable. The doors of the elevator opened and you two stepped outside. The sky turned into a cerulean shade, almost matching Tamaki’s hair perfectly. Sitting down on the hard concrete, he soon followed suit. You took out your camera and captured a few photographs of the sky. When you were settled with it, you set it down. “Isn’t it pretty?” You questioned. He hummed in agreement. Although his attention was only on you. The way you admired the stars tugged at his heart. “Tamaki?” “Y-Yes 💙?” “I like spending time with you.” The way the corners of your lips turned upwards made his heart melt. It was then that he had realized that he’s never seen you smile that way towards anyone else. Maybe he was just reading too much into it. The space between you two lessened by the second until your shoulders were touching. “I...like spending time with you too.” His dark blue eyes darted away for a few seconds and then back to yours. He grabbed your arm with a shaky hand and gently pulled you closer. You decided to continue as you bumped your nose with him and giggled. His stomach became a pile of nerves while yours was swarming with butterflies. He closed his eyes and tilted his head to the side, and you mirrored his action, closing the gap.

“Amaji! You’re still sleeping?!” Tamaki opened his eyes. He was currently in his bed in his room. “You missed the first class!” Hado scolded him, smacking him with his pillow. “It’s alright! We covered for you!” Mirio reassured him and put a stack of papers on his nightstand. Tamaki paid no attention to them as he was deep in thought. His eyebrows knotted together and he frowned. “What’s with that ugly face?” Hado questioned. In a second, Tamaki laid face down on the mattress in shame. “That was cruel.” His voice was muffled. Hado and Mirio kept reassuring him and apologizing, but he wasn’t mainly talking about what she said. Although her words did sting.
