i have such a love hate relationship with being committed to a really good but really long slow burn fic bc it’s like wearing a smut chastity belt bc you know that waiting patiently for the actual get together part is gonna make the scene so much more impactful and you don’t want to cheapen the moment but like at the same time sometimes you need SOMETHING other than longing stares every few chapters :((

i think sam was so touchy this episode because he found out he was the middle child

but i really like that the show doesn’t tell you that dean had to watch and listen to sam literally explode in a trip wire until you’re watching dean getting tied up and realize that’s where sam was originally gonna die and then you watch as dean starts screaming as he hears the second explosion bc he thinks it’s sam and that he’s dead and there’s nothing he can do

(it especially hurts bc you know that thought was originally a reality and dean really did get to hear his little brother explode behind him)

this is gonna sound like a stupid ask but i can’t find ANYTHING sooo

destiel fics with cry-until-your-face-is-sore heavy angst on deans part that takes place in canonverse? preferably fix-its for the aftermath of s15e19? also if available, some sam really trying to get dean back on his feet but it’s just not working… love y’all 💋
