Random drawing I found that I made post surgery
Guys…. I don’t think this is very healthy
In Little Wolf when Athena talks about how she “understands this kind of filth” she’s talking about Zeus. Change my mind.
(I’m just going to elaborate a little more on something I said in my last one) The end of God Games is a parallel of My Goodbye, look at it this way, you just defeated an impossible task. However, in the process you go against someone you look up to and trust who is also a lot more powerful than you. Although you completed the challenge they punish you, and leave you to fend for yourself. Are we starting to connect the dots???
there was no viola at the end of Love in Paradise, at his darkest moment Odysseus forgot what he was fighting to get back to
these are all I can think of rn, I’m sure I’ll be back
made my gramma say brain rot words, and this was for sure my favorite
Currently re-reading once upon a broken heart and wanted to draw the girllll!!
Guys… we have yet to see Penelope, yes we hear her motif, yes we see her as a siren, yes Odysseus hallucinates her a couple times… but we never actually see her at least not yet
so the first time we’ll see Penelope will be in the challenge, which is the first song of the Ithica saga
I got to go to D23 this year and it was a BLAST! I also had the chance to give one of my childhood hero’s some artwork I made.
If you don’t know, Ashley Eckstein is the voice of Ahsoka Tano from the Clone Wars, and one of my favorite characters. She and my mom have been instagram friends for a long time (don’t ask me how) she even took my mom to Club 33 once (jealous!) and because she did so, my mom commissioned me to draw something for her. My mom told me that she loved Alice in Wonderland and her house is themed after it, so I draw the Alice in Wonderland flowers and added a little Ahsoka Tano butterfly in it.
I saw her at one of the events and gave it to her. SHE LOVED IT! She said she would frame it up on her wall and I literally almost cried, she said I was an incredible artist and wanted me to continue doing art.
That was probably the highlight of my year.
Odysseus bulling Poseidon into going home was not on my bingo card.
Calypso claims that “goddesses can’t die” and what does Athena do at the end of the saga? “Dies”! So Calypso foreshadows Athena’s return
during We’ll be Fine, Telemachus mirrors Odysseus when he first meets Athena by using the same rifts, and immediately claiming her as friend, I think this is why Athena is so moved, because she sees what she first saw in Odysseus in Telemachus
I've seen lots of people ranting about how Athena’s response to Aphrodite was kinda dumb. It was, and this was intentional because it shows just how little Athena knows about love, and how she learns by the end of the song what it truly means to care about someone
the end of God Games is is meant to mirror My Goodbye, in the sense which Odysseus and Athena’s relation ship is meant to be reflected in Athena and Zeus so now being attacked and disgraced by her father Athena feels sympathetic to Odysseus, who she left in a similar position after abandoning him
