tee hee she’s so purdyyyy!! This is Lehara! She’s an oracle who washed up on the land of Avens with no memory! I’m trying to post more about my ocs!

My flapper dress came! I’m hosting a murder mystery with some friends as a last big social thing before my surgery, and I love this dress so MUCH! I haven’t been able to stop singing Great Gatsby songs! On another note, my character is the very flirtatious girl and I think it’s so funny because I’m not like that at all! And the guy flirtatious character is my cousin, so that’s kinda awkward lol!

Any movie/tv show recs?

I’m having a jaw surgery on the 27th, and they want me in bed rest for 2 weeks… imma get hecka bored! So please dm me, or comment about any good movies or tv shows I should watch during this time!

also I’ll be on a liquid diet for 6 weeks too so any smoothie or soup recipes would also be awesome!

Day 1 - First OC

This is Sam and Blobby! These are the first ocs I remember making I decided to draw them in my style now and how I would draw them when I first came up with them, man it’s crazy how much I’ve improved!

Something my sister pointed out to me

ok so in love in paradise while Ody is trying to jump off the cliff Calypso says something, she says...

"Stay in my open arms"

and then Polities starts singing Open Arms like in the Underworld Saga, then Anticlea, and then Eurylocus which made me cry. But the whole point was that Calypso said something that reminded Ody of everyone he lost...that made me cry today.

Day #3 post op! First full day at home! I’m trying to do portraits of my progress each day.

Day #3 rundown:

I had to take my meds in an applesauce packet, but it was the worst tasting applesauce I ever had making me gag as I drank it. Doctors say today will be the worst of the swelling, and I hope so. Finally took my scope patch off so my ciliary muscles have begun to relax so I can read now so that’s a plus! Bruising is starting to happen so that’s SO fun! I’ll be back with updates later!

I got to go to D23 this year and it was a BLAST! I also had the chance to give one of my childhood hero’s some artwork I made.

If you don’t know, Ashley Eckstein is the voice of Ahsoka Tano from the Clone Wars, and one of my favorite characters. She and my mom have been instagram friends for a long time (don’t ask me how) she even took my mom to Club 33 once (jealous!) and because she did so, my mom commissioned me to draw something for her. My mom told me that she loved Alice in Wonderland and her house is themed after it, so I draw the Alice in Wonderland flowers and added a little Ahsoka Tano butterfly in it.

I saw her at one of the events and gave it to her. SHE LOVED IT! She said she would frame it up on her wall and I literally almost cried, she said I was an incredible artist and wanted me to continue doing art.

That was probably the highlight of my year.

Her name is Lyra, she’s been running around in my brain for the past few months! She is just a funky lil girl who loves to sing and dance, in her spare time she preforms her songs in markets and events with her Death Song Bowie! (Who is named after David Bowie, it was my mom’s idea)
