Throughout my years of study, I worked hard to build my future, to be an independent girl with a business and a university degree with distinction, and I did it in my first year at university, where I studied and stayed up all night; But the damned war took me by surprise and destroyed everything I dreamed of, just as it destroyed my family’s home, and now I am left without a home and without education, just like the homeless! My family and I were displaced from the north of the Gaza Strip to the south, to cover a distance of more than 15 km on foot. To come here to live in the south of the Gaza Strip in search of the false security that the occupation army had deluded us with. To live in a tent and in very tragic conditions. Water is not available. We carry it from a far place. To meet our daily needs, Not only that, we are a family of 7 members. The war has entered its year and a half and we are still suffering from hunger, fear and terror. This is not the life we dreamed of. We dreamed of a life full of security and stability in our beautiful home with my beautiful family, but these dreams evaporated with the beginning of the genocidal war. We did not make mistakes or commit any sins. We just want to live in peace and build a beautiful future for our children. Diseases have invaded our bodies. Insects walk on us day and night, poisonous insects. Our simplest wish has become to live in a home, to find easily available food, clean water, medicine, and even cleaning materials.
