In The Silmarillion And Tales Of The First Age Sauron Was A Being Of Valinor Perverted To The Service

In the Silmarillion and Tales of the First Age Sauron was a being of Valinor perverted to the service of the Enemy [Melkor] and becoming his chief captain and servant. He repents in fear when the First Enemy is utterly defeated, but in the end does not do as was commanded, return to the judgement of the gods. He lingers in Middle-earth. Very slowly, beginning with fair motives: the reorganising and rehabilitation of the ruin of Middle-earth, 'neglected by the gods', he becomes a reincarnation of Evil, and a thing lusting for Complete Power – and so consumed ever more fiercely with hate (especially of gods and Elves). — J.R.R Tolkien, in his letters.

WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST HUMAN MEMORY?

There are so many to be honest but I remember as if it was yesterday I was so little and my daddy took me and my twin brothers to watch Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Maybe that's why I love that movie out of the quadrilogy, because it was the very first movie I remember watching in theaters with my family and I was maybe 3-4 years old. That day Harrison Ford, and his Indiana Jones Character became my biggest crush! haha!

A Beautiful Day In The Neiborhood, This Is Such A Beautiful Introduction To A Film That Will Surely Be

A Beautiful Day in The Neiborhood, This is such a beautiful introduction to a film that will surely be an Oscar It will debut on Thanksgiving.

I know this generation has not experienced what we 80’s kids have but hopefully, this will make them want to.

I come from a household where my mother always told me that a child is the smartest person in the room. In some cases that is true

A child never sees the color of your skin or how many dollars are in your pocket, or how many tears you've cried or the anger in your face as you've yelled at her, but she will laugh with you when the time comes because that is what the heart of the child does. The heart of a child is big and is always giving and forgiving. Always learning and growing. Love must be imparted.

It is crucial that of all things, love, communication, and manners are imparted and given to them. Nothing else matters, alternatively everything else will fail.

That is the message that Mister Rogers left me. Love. Love everyone, but above all, love yourself. Do the nice things but remember to be kind. Kindness goes a long ways because there is a lot of ugly in this world and this world is a beautiful place, and we deserve to share that beauty with each other; we can share that light, we can BE THAT LIGHT. BE!

IT'S A BEAUTIFUL DAY!!!😭🥺

Damn, I'm crying writing this, and Tumblr deleted my post TWICE while writing this with the delete feature while typing back with my iPhone 🤣 Not only am I emotional, I'm emotional and angry twice! 😡😂 But It’s still a beautiful day!

Life Can Be So Easy Or So Hard...

Life can be so easy or so hard...

An old Cherokee told his grandson: " My son, there´s a battle between two wolves inside us all. One is EVIL. it´s anger, jealosy, greed, resentment, lies & ego. The other is GOOD. it´s joy, peace, love, hope, kindness & truth. " the boy though about it and asked: "Grandfather, which wolf wins?" The old man quietly replied: "The one you feed!"

So, Cyanobacteria.

Its a little bitty bacterium that was one of the first plants… nay Lifeforms that earth was ever host to. These little buggers became so prolific that they turned earths atmosphere (which before was primarily carbon dioxide due to volcanic and meteoric activity) into mostly oxygen. they were so prolific that they CHANGED THE ENTIRETY OF EARTHS ATMOSPHERE so much that it caused an extinction event. And then combined with atmospheric methane which removed earths greenhouse effect causing one of the longest snowball earth periods in known history.

One.

Little.

Bacteria.

Killed everything on the planet.

Then encased the fucking planet in ice for millenia.

Damn Cyanobacteria you scary.
