Thinking about a baby Wylan who sets tiny traps all through the mansion. A loose nail on a floorboard, a tiny bell too close to the door dangling from a crooked light, a tiny chiseled hole in the door, and a tiny scrap of medal in the doorknob to jingle when it’s touched. Tiny things all over the mansion, mostly harmless but some just hints of the pain his father causes, acting as a desperate little security alarm for a terrified little boy.
How he grows up and they grow with him. How these little tricks feel like friends when they’re the only thing protecting him.
Wylan Van Eck sets them and Wylan Hendricks(-Fahey) takes them apart with a smug partner at his side.
Wylan with friends now, a real family, who disarms the inside protections and fills it with emotional ones. How it’s suddenly too loud with laughter to hear a little bell and how he doesn’t need it anyway. The only security lingers outside when the first people in his life step in to protect him first. Real security, not traps scattered in the floorboards.
The look on Jespers face as they take them apart lingers but the hurt doesn’t. The pride sticks - the strength of surviving fills the halls but it’s not alone. He’s not alone.
Just thinking about a Wylan who was always a fighter, even when he was small and scared. How he survived and finally made home a real one.
Anyone wanna talk about how there were 50 tributes for his games and it would have been 50 more when the 75th were destroyed and haymitch said he had felt them all at his back when he was trying to finish them the first time -
I'll never understand Netflix decision to nerf Klaus like they did. I get that they took the basics of the comics and made into their own thing, giving more depth and background lore to the Hargreeves, but did they really have to do that at the cost of Klaus powers?
Klaus is practically a god of death in the comics. He's a fucking necromancer man! He can talk to the dead and summon them to do his bidding, he's immortal (not that its his choice, that's on God nor the Devil not liking him), he is able to project his spirit through things like televisions, he is able to possess the body of others as much as ghosts can possess him, he can bring stuff from the Void back into the living world, he has advanced telekinesis and he is also a bit of a telepath.
Reginald in the comics also believes that his temperament and drug problems hinders Klaus reaching full potential with his powers — but even if this isn't Klaus at his full power and best self, thanks to Reginald abusing and torturing him more than he did with the other kids in the name of making him "stronger", he's still able to do a ton of badass stuff with what he has at hand.
Klaus was the one to stop the apocalypse that Vanya(We'll use Vanya here cuz we're talking about the comics) causes! He's cool as fuck like that! He pretends to be possessed by Reginald's ghost and manipulates Vanya so Five is able to incapacitate her. Klaus is able to stop the chunks of the moon with his telekinesis at the end, averting the apocalypse entirely.
So why did Netflix had to nerf him at the cost of giving him more backstory and doing the bit of them trying to avoid the apocalypse in every timeline they go? They could've made him discover some new powers every season until they could make him be the hero who stops the world from ending once and for all at the end just like he did in the comics! That would certainly surprise everyone who's not familiar with the comics and would've been a nice plot twist of an ending for everyone who thought he was nothing more than the sad junkie.
Anyway, this is just a rant and an idea for the Klaus lovers (me included) who are writing a new ending for the Hargreeves. Make the eternal fuck up be the hero who saves the world! Show!Klaus should've been able to show TV viewers that he's much more than a silly funny guy with a tragic backstory and a drug problem. Because he is, he always was.
Make Klaus the hero he was born to be.
Yall keep liking my posts and I know damn well they don’t make sense
This is exactly what I want my posts to inspire thank you
Hey so if spider makes it through everything and all that what’s the plan
Like are we just gonna have an elderly man one day chillin with his still-young little siblings on the beach until one of them smacks him for a snide ass comment and breaks him in half?
Hi there! Your work is amazing and I love your recent drawings of AonungxSpider and NeteyamxSpider. Would you be willing to do an AonungxSpiderxNeteyam request?
I think there's something special about the oldest child of Jake, Quaritch, and Tonowari falling heads over heels over one another. They're like, literally one and a half human-Na'vi combo.
Aonung: Full Na'vi
Neteyam: Half Na'vi, Half Human
Spider: Full Human
I'd also imagine the trio understand one another in their own weird, complex ways, Aonung enraptured by Neteyam's beauty and Spider's love of Eywa and how he is Na'vi by heart, something Neteyam sees in him and Spider is elated that someone other than the Sully kids finally recognize. And I'd imagine times where they allow themselves in private to enjoy one another's company away from duties, expectations, and discrimination, just being a bunch of teens having fun and in love.
Oh, and between Aonung's skills in the water, Neteyam's in the sky, and Spider's adaptability to pick up everything, NGL they'd make a very powerful polycule.
Sorry for takin so long to respons, thats nice concept, they could be too cute jdhajudjd 🤧
Also guys sorry for being innactive , im really busy these times, college tests just staered til next week, job things too
I spend the whole morning drawing a plan, it takes sooo long my arm stilll hurts my eyes
hey, friendly reminder, spider's iconic bow shot:
was his almost instantaneous reaction to one of the recom's putting their hands on Tuk. He then has to be convinced by both his siblings to put the bow down and keeps it trained on the recom holding Tuk.
when Quaritch approaches Spider, Tuk hisses at him (hard to see in photo cause they were little baby hisses)
when Jake tells spider to get "them" out of there, spider immediatly calls for Tuk (and grabs Kiri)
now for some cuter snippets
and when Tuk goes to egg on and tease Lo'ak, she hides behind her big brother, and Spider looks amused in the way a big brother is equally amused and tired of their little sisters antics (he's probably defended her, whether she was the one who needed defending or not, many times, especially when it comes to Lo'ak)
and she runs for both Kiri and Spider when the war party returns, making it clear she hangs out with them quite often.
my conclusion? she and Spider are besties, no one puts their hands on his baby sister, I rest my case.
Question: do ya'll like the format I've been using for headcanons? Or would you prefer a more traditional headcanon breakdown/actual fic format?
Pls answer if you care lmao, I want to put more stuff out again but I want to do it in a way ya'll like
👹👹I loved this, the angst was beautiful!! And yes you did get the ask right!
I can’t wait to read more work from you!
Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! :)
does klaus’s plotline actually have anything to do with…anything, or did they just not know what to do with him except make him the junkie fuck up who gets himself in messes and needs rescuing
