And Kakashi is not helping at all (even if he very much wants to let everyone know Iruka is in fact taken, leave his man alone, he will bite.) But the opportunity to be a menace to society (and to Iruka, it's his love language) is too much, so now Iruka must suffer the consequences of choosing the resident ninja equivalent of a cryptid to fall in love with. It really was nice knowing him, he will truly be missed.
