you can be a hater all you want but he's so pretty she thinks it looks weird when he eats toast
i'm so so angry at grace and her complete disregard of james' bodily autonomy and consent better be adressed.
like sorry idc if you had a shitty childhood that shit is not acceptable.
hey op come here for a second
I think the downright most horrific and brutal detail in the show is that Kilgharrah actually used Merlin to make sure Arthur's death happened with the pretence of protecting him
counter argument:
DO IT GROVER ITS WORTH IT YOU'LL END UP IN A WEDDING DRESS WITH A CYCLOPS TRYING TO MARRY YOU
"No one's ever botherd to check the seas"
DONT DO IT GROVER ITS NOT WORTH IT YOU'LL END UP IN A WEDDING DRESS WITH A CYCLOPS TRYING TO MARRY YOU
clary should be the most important character in the universe always
i think one of the biggest damages to fandom spaces that social media (and the sort of instant gratification that it spawned) is that nuance is dying.
every fandom i enter (some to a worse degree than others i will admit) is just teeming with bad takes with no nuance. you can't acknowledge a good part of a character without being attacked for supporting someone who's done abc and suddenly being labeled an xyz apologist.
this leads to these dynamic and interesting characters being viewed only through a binary of right and wrong, which destroys the very things that make them feel real and human.
everyone is racing to be morally right in an age where awareness of social injustice is rising and as a result they're either forcing issues that aren't there to criticize a character or ripping them to shreds just to feel morally superior. in doing so not only are they ruining the stories and characters, but they're making these real world issues come off as frivolous and unimportant, when there are actual bodies of work that properly and intentionally explore them.
some astarion stans need a serious reality check. and i say this as someone who adores him.
astarion has the most content in this game, so it's rather infuriating to see his fans demand more and more, even when other companions could benefit from more content.
so instead of complaining about how you didn't get heaps of new content in patch six, maybe consider pressing larian for more content for others. instead of demanding content for the one who doesn't need it, how about you advocate for more content for wylll, who is the only person of colour in the group and has barely anything?
your behaviour is obnoxious and reeks of entitlement. do better.
every time david tennant and michael sheen interact i get a little boost of serotonin
