And much like showering I frequently hate the thought of it and then when I do it I wonder why on earth I didn't want to do it. And much like during a shower, drawing is an excuse to do something with my hands while idly thinking. But my hands don't get wrinkly when I draw so therefore they are Completely Different

making art is just like showering………can’t get up and do it, can’t stop when you’ve started. you want to crawl out of your skin if you don’t do it often enough. everything in the world is the exact same

Reblogging on main to say I had this happen a week or so ago when I went to a museum.

They had a Tsintaosaurus skeleton there (Tsintaosaurus was a hadrosaur with a sort of unicorn horn), and I had expected hadrosaurs to be about the size of a cow, or maybe a horse at most. Nope. They're almost four metres tall.

So imagine all 5 feet of me, in the dinosaur room, staring up at this enormous creature. It was awesome in the most literal sense.

sometimes u have to see something in real life to truly get it. Elephant in pictures is like 'thats an elephant'
