very important question: does ahsoka have her own 501st hoodie, or does she just steal hoodies from any clone bc they’re much more comfy when they’re someone else’s
Ahsoka gets pointed to Tatooine about two years after the Empire rises. Bail is vague about it, but tells her she’ll find Someone She’s Looking For if she goes. Ahsoka brings Rex because reasons. Bail intended for her to find Obi-Wan, because he’s heard about training bonds and one time Obi-Wan mentioned Ahsoka had formed a minor one with him, but he doesn’t know enough about the Force to realize she’d be drawn directly to Luke instead.
So one day, Beru and Owen just open the door, toddler in hand, to see an exhausted, distraught former Jedi a good decade their junior on the step, with an clone soldier, eyes fixed on Luke and looking like she’s about to cry.
For a particularly high level of drama, this wasn’t planned, and Bail had only told her that she could Find Allies on Tatooine if she ended up in the absolute worst possible situation (she is pretty much the only person he felt deserved to know there were allies on Tatooine at all), and what actually happens is that Ahsoka passes out like two seconds after the door opens and Rex is left holding the bag of “how the fuck do I explain the thing.”
Rex gains a bit of favor by explaining about the chip in his head after Owen demands an explanation because last he heard, the clones had turned on the Jedi on the Emperor’s orders, and Beru and Owen have enough knowledge of slavery (and Beru’s family has been freeing people for so many generations) that the story of what happened during O66 on Mandalore immediately wins Rex some points, at least enough for someone to go get Ben.
This is the point at which I admit that this was partially driven by me thinking about one of those “Cody finds/is found by Obi-Wan on Tatooine, gets de-chipped, they end up Husbands” AUs and me really wanting post-O66 Ahsoka crying on Obi-Wan while he awkwardly explains to the Lars family that this girl is Basically His Daughter
Probably while Ahsoka’s passed out in his lap.
Also I want that dramatic moment of Owen telling Obi-Wan that someone showed up “looking for Jedi” but not really explaining much, just enough for Obi-Wan to panic and jump on a speeder with Cody in full armor and with a blaster because Owen doesn’t seem worried enough for it to be imperials but what if and then he shows up and instead it’s Ahsoka, exhausted and injured and unconscious, but it’s his grandpadawan.
He freezes when he sees her, almost doesn’t even parse that Rex is there until the man starts talking, and then he backpedals, grabs Cody from outside where he’s helping Owen secure the speeder, and shoves him into the building because Brothers.
(In Owen’s defense, he had a vague idea that there were millions of clones and had no reason to assume these two in particular would know each other.)
There’s a Keldabe kiss with some tears that everyone later denies happened, and Obi-Wan just goes over to sit with Ahsoka and push some healing energy into her body until she feels well enough to wake up. Luke toddles in and basically just gets passed around between Beru and Owen and Obi-Wan. He gives Owen and Beru an abridged explanation of how they all know each other and how Jedi families work, which leads to Beru declaring that if Ahsoka was Anakin’s adopted family, then she’s family to the rest of them, too, by Tatooine standards. And since Rex is a brother to Obi-Wan’s husband–
“Your WHAT?” Rex demands.
“Husband, vod'ika, keep up.”
Anyway, everyone’s family somehow but the important part is reuniting clones and having the disaster lineage crying on each other because I have seen those screenshots where Ahsoka canonically refers to Obi-Wan as her adoptive father when talking about him to strangers post-O66 and sure that’s arguably just her reframing to fit the conversation and her audience, but also. Like. That’s Her Dad.
Do you have any Mirialan headcanons?
OH BOY DO I!!!
Ok… ok I can do this. I apologize, this is my first anon and I’m a little beside myself with excitement right now.
Ok, Mirialans.
Canon says they’re a near-human species, and other than some weird colored skin and tats, the only inhuman thing they have is their flexibility and agility. Their home world, Mirial, is cold and dry. Their geometric tattoos are usually done after some sort of personal achievement, which I personally read as a ‘right of passage’ sort of thing.
So, they come in yellow, green, and pink, and other than their skin color, their tattoos are their most notable attributes.
Personally, their tattoos always looked to me like the sort of patterns you’d see on a snake. I mean, I live in the American southwest, this is prime rattlesnake territory, and several of the tattoo designs you see in SWTOR look just like that. Yellow, and green are pretty common colors in snakes, and I dare you to find me an animal that better fits their ‘super flexible’ attribute.
So Mirialans are snake people.
More specifically, they are a reptomammalian species that resemble humans through convergent evolution. As reptomammals, they possess both reptilian and mammalian characteristics. The way I saw it explained with Tauntauns, Mirialans are covered from head to toe in scales, and certain scales grow hair, say on their heads and faces.
Unlike humans, they don’t have body hair. Men can have beards, but that is usually due to having some human in their ancestry.
Their body can regulate its temperature, but not quite as well as a full mammal, so they generally run very cold compared to humans and they tend to suffer more in extreme heat.
Depending on what region of Mirial their ancestors come from, their scales can be thicker and rougher, or smaller and smooth. They do not have any natural patterning to their scales, but it is fairly common to have their palest scales on the chest and belly and the darkest at their spine. However, long ago their ancestors did have scale patterns, and so that is where their tattoo designs came from.
Having evolved on a cold planet, and being omnivorous, they needed to bring their prey down quickly to avoid expending precious heat and energy chasing it down, thus their ancestors were venomous. And unlike the scale patterns, they kept the venom. Their incisors are sharper than a human’s and they have a set of upper and lower fangs. Like snakes, their upper fangs are hollow and they have a pair of venom glands situated just beneath their cheekbones. They can open their mouths well beyond a human’s range of movement, and at full flexion, the muscles surrounding the glands squeeze the venom down and out the tips of the fangs. The venom itself is fatal to anything smaller than a medium sized child and is composed of a mix of neurotoxin and hemotoxin.
The neurotoxin causes localized paralysis, making it difficult for a victim to flee, and if it’s small enough, respiritory failure. The hemotoxin destroys red blood cells and makes clotting difficult, but mostly it’s there to cause pain and hopefully shock to the victim. Left untreated, a Mirialan bite can cause days of agony and permanent organ damage to an adult. Common poison antidotes can alleviate the paralysis and prevent any organ damage, but little can be done about the pain.
A general Mirialan antivenom exists and can stop the majority of the toxin, but only antivenom made from the offending Mirialan or related family members, will fully counteract it. It’s because of this that more responsible individuals carry personalized antivenom. Still, in this day and age of blasters and thermal detonators, you have to have majorly fucked up for a Mirialan to bite you.
They have good senses of smell, and average vision and hearing, but like snakes, they are able to ‘see’ in infrared. Its like someone turned up the color saturation on hot objects and they practically glow in the dark.
They’re from a largely matriarchal society, and if you want those sweet sweet tats, you need to complete a sort of coming of age feat. The feat in question is often tailor made to each individual to test their strength. Ex. A girl who likes hunting could be asked to go kill a certain tough critter, or guy who likes science could be asked to write a dissertation in his field. Basically something that was a challenge but not impossible
The facial tattoos were the ones they had to earn, but body tattoos were just for decoration, like any other species. Although it is common for those with facial tattoos to have that pattern repeated or expanded upon on the rest of their body.
Oh.
And a Mirialan man’s dick is held inside his body and only comes out when it’s party time.
Aaaaand I think that’s it. If I think of anything else major I’ll try to post it.
Thank you so much for your question!

the clone wars trio + variations of a power trio
Inspired by a plot point in Orphan Black, please consider:
Jango is a chimera (specifically of a pair of fraternal twins, one male and one female), and the Kaminoans just went with it to have a co-ed army because uhhhh why not, mostly.
Weird side-effect is that the clones don't actually look exactly like Jango. Like family, yes, but not Just Like Him.
I don't know where I'm going with this other than "Ahsoka's bisexual awakening" and "the first time a clone gets pregnant because the birth control failed, there are lawsuits from the non-clone parent." Custody stuff, I imagine.
If the non-clone parent wants their kid and has the money, but Kamino insists all products of their product belong to Kamino and/or the GAR, or try to pressure the clone to have an abortion because That's In The Contract or something...
If I wrote it up, it would probably involve a Senator as the other parent and trying to get the pregnant clone transferred to the Corrie Guard where it's "safe" except then the Corrie's keep bringing up their "we get killed by civilians regularly and it gets marked up as property damage, maybe have that addressed before your baby momma gets her ass beat" problem. IDK it would go somewhere dark.
Maybe better to focus on Ahsoka being painfully gay.
A friend asked if Boba would still be a "true" clone, and I don't think so. He'd be a clone of the XY cells, because the Kaminoan's can't actually safely replicate a chimera.
This is cute... And they're all queens. No one can change my mind
Pssst, I need more Norika ships. Do you have any Norika ships that aren't Norika/Nae? (it's adorable but she can't be the only one crushing on my mermaid princess).
HELLO!!!! Finally an ask about my bubble bae
YES I /personally/ love Norika with Gabriella but also Nae/Norika/Gabriella in a poly relationship because NORIKA HAS TWO HANDS🙌🏻💙🌊
Because obviously the only other female GK would have a crush on tht wonderful being that Norika is and the poly ship because I think they would work out really well~
Also I don’t personally like love triangles and I’d rather see them all happy being a power lesbo trio🤷🏻♀️
Okay, so the question is:
Do you think togruta markings are purely genetic or partly genetic and partly influenced by the environment?
e.g. a stressful adolescence leads to more complex markings/breakage
This conversation was had in large part on discord with @atagotiak and @dracothulhu.

“On occasion, the Force allows us to connect with another living being and communicate with them across great distances, seeing what they see and feeling what they feel. Though this may seem like a harmless–and perhaps even valuable–ability, it is easily manipulated by those on the dark side. Some powerful Force users have been able to create secret bonds with others who are unaware of their connection. They then use those bonds to corrupt their target and steer their actions. Even if the unwanted bond is detected, it can still be extremely difficult to break.” –Luke Skywalker, Secrets of the Jedi Hey, do you want some creepy Force horror? Apparently dark siders can create a bond with someone without them even knowing and use it to corrupt their target and steer their actions, and even if you detect the bond, it can still be difficult to break. THANKS, STAR WARS, THAT’S TERRIFYING, I LOVE IT. It’s interesting, because the prequels Jedi didn’t really seem to have a problem with it, there are multiple examples of bonds and potential bonds, where they seem to have their shit under control and can deal with it when it might become dangerous, but Luke’s point of view on them seems much more wary, which makes sense when you consider what happened with Ben and Snoke. But just that it’s at all possible is terrifying! It’s probably moreso for people who aren’t Force-sensitive, rather than those who are trained and have a solid mental foundation in the Force, but the idea of, say, being able to manipulate someone without them even knowing you’re in their head, being able to steer their actions without them knowing it, that even once they’re aware of you, it’s hard as hell to get you out of their head, THAT’S THE PSYCHIC FORCE HORROR STUFF I’M TALKING ABOUT. I mean, just think how hard it would have been for Anakin to get Palpatine’s connection out of his head, that of course Palpatine would have quietly and sneakily put little suggestions here and there. Never too much, because Anakin was so strong in the Force and he had the help of all the Jedi if Sidious was ever detected, but how easy would it have been for Palpatine to hide in amongst Anakin’s already terrified thoughts? That the source of those unexamined fears was still Anakin himself, it has always been Anakin that’s the source, but that Palpatine would sneak a bond onto him, that Anakin would be too afraid to examine his own mind and his own fears, so it’s just that little extra push that makes it all the worse? THE FORCE IS TERRIFYING, OKAY.
yes I made a floor plan for Din’s new ship in oh the things we left behind, no I do not have any other reason except I fucking love floor plans thank u
it’s a kom'rk class fighter/transport - this thing:
