shes pretty obscure / legends only but i was curious how you felt about komari vosa
I thought the premise was an interesting one. A talented Jedi who became infatuated with her Master (Dooku) and thus was barred from the Trials altogether, leaving the Order in disgrace and shame. She turned to the Dark Side after torture by the Force-worshipping Bando Gora cult and ultimately rose as its High Priestess. When Sidious ordered her dispatched of, Dooku turned it into a kind of contest - the bounty hunter able to take out the power Force-wielder would become the template for the clone army. And yes, that being would be Jango Fett.
A lot of the beats in this story hit the right chord - a young Vosa falling for her urbane, older Master, which is not unheard of in these intense, one-on-one training relationships (ask me about music conservatory culture one day, oof). To Dooku’s credit, he wanted nothing to do with this (and I sincerely doubt he would even as a Sith - that’s just not his M.O., thank the Force). Her falling into a Force-worshipping cult, which is absolutely fantastic (and something I wish had been utilized in the Sequels). And then finally, Dooku’s inability to actually kill her directly, manipulating the situation into “The Box? Version 1.0 is 100% on-brand for his character. I actually don’t think he’s ever been able to take out a friend/Lineage member directly. He hired the Pykes to deal with Sifo-Diyas, bounty hunters for Komari, more or less left Ventress to die but never actually ensured her death, ditto for Savage, and never actually landed a killing blow in a situation with Obi-wan, even though he certainly had the upper hand in those encounters.
Now, it’s been a while since I’ve read those comics and to be perfectly honest, I am wholly in love with Rael Averross and his whole schtick so I’m willing to let go of Komari Vosa in exchange for Rael. That being said, it wasn’t a half-bad storyline.
Chapter 1 is now up on AO3, and chapter 6 is up on Patreon!
The least 6 portraits.
Lúthien, Fingolfin, Maglor, Fëanor, Aredhel and Ecthelion.
Oooo could you do Obi-Wan? He could be doing anything, I'd just like to see him in your style. I love you art!!!
What about Obi with Boga? <3

Thank you for this. This made my day
So, I feel like confessing something,,,
I don’t like Fudou portrayed as a punk.
I never liked it since the very early 2000s fashion choices of the show, it just didn’t feel right to me, something seemed out of place. And then Outer Code came around and finally I knew.
To me, Fudou dressed a certain way because he had no money to spend on trivial things like nice clothes, plus, he had to survive on the streets of a darker side of town and to deal with all sorts of bad people.
He couldn’t simply do that with a nice looking cardigan, could he?
He had to adapt to the habitat he was living in, much like a chameleon does to protect itself. Some things stayed with him, of course, he still was power hungry and ready to do anything but that is a completely different point from his fashion style of choice!
Yes he has a sharp tongue, is a sarcastic lil shit and surely knows how to pick a lock or survive in a fist fight, but those are all things he HAD to learn, not ones he actively choose to learn. Same thing goes for fashion choices.
I honestly headcanon for him to always have looked longingly at the windows of the nice shops uptown, secretly wanting for nothing but to relax in a fitting room with something more colourful, something that could make him feel like he didn’t have to always look mad at everything.
In this new universe he somehow had some more money and what did he do?
He bought white, purple, nice looking outfits almost all without any trace of punkness in them and he went to the hairdresser, not a barber shop, a hairdresser. And as far as the short tell us, he goes there pretty often.
So no, I don’t think Fudou owns a collection of knives or that he would wear black outfits or leather and dark makeup and overall be a street baddie because I don’t think that’s who he truly is.
He is someone who went through a lot and just wanted to sit back, wear pink, make his hair grow and help other kids like we saw in GO.
To me Fudou is yes sassy but also gentle as he writes love songs for Kidou on the acustic guitar. He knows how to send you k.o. but is happier cooking with Tobitaka. He was once a lone wolf but actually really love being sureounded by his friends. He wore cheap, dark looking clothes to be seen as someone to not mess with but just wanted to be a fashionista with lighter fun colours. He knows how to handle a knife perfectly but uses it only to cut gourmet food.
I know it’s funny to joke around and memes are cool, but I heavily dissociate from the heavy punk bad boy Fudou many seem to enjoy.
Not to say yall should stop seeing him like you do, take this as foor for thoughts and keep doing what you love. I know I’ll keep portraying him the way I always wanted, now that I can~
The real question is, has the WIP file reached 666 and if so, what's that story's pitch x)
...........................Neyo/Mace/Ponds, where Ponds and Neyo think they’re in a competition for Mace’s hand. Mace, meanwhile, is absolutely certain that all three of them are dating and is trying to arrange a nice relaxing vacation for them. It does not go as planned.
obi wan drops his lightsaber for the millionth time during a battle and cody has to pick it it up again. hes limping badly afterwards but is refusing to go to medical so finally cody breaks and is just like “here general, go fetch” and throws it in the med tent. obi wan, indignant, goes to said med tent to get it and gets sedated 0.2 seconds after walking in
Cody: So I’m sure all of you have noticed by now that General Kenobi has been lurking around the med tent. Clones: *nod* Cody: But never getting close enough for us to push him inside. Boil: I almost got close enough once, but he fled the second he saw me. Cody: I know, he’s a crafty one. My point is: SHINIES. He will try to talk to you! He will try to gently smile at you! He will try to coax you into getting his lightsaber for him! And I’m sure he’s not above bribing you too! but you know what you have to do, right? Clones: TACKLE HIM TO THE GROUND AND CALL THE MEDIC, SIR. Cody: EXACTLY. Also please note that we don’t want to cause more injuries so please be careful when you restrain him.
This is very true
i don’t think people really get how little feedback fanfic authors actually get? like the effort to reaction ratio is so abysmally skewed here that a fic nearly 50,000 words long takes an entire year to amass like. 16 comments. someone reblogged a fic i wrote at 4 am and tagged it with a 5-word compliment and i can’t stop thinking about it, not because it was so nice but because half the time you post a fic you’re going to hear nothing and anything feels like so much
fandom culture is so, so good about giving artists the credit they’re due, but we gotta start doing that for writers too. you’ve got no idea how much people put into their stories and get maybe a handful of reblogs and a dozen-odd kudos. that’s not enough. writing is an endurance sport and y’all need to start giving fic writers a reason to endure it and improve their craft. encourage writers like you encourage artists. reblog fics, leave tags, leave comments, acknowledge that these stories do not just spring into being for your entertainment.
every single damn writer i know feels like half of their readers see them as a machine. that’s gotta change.
Bi pride. And problems
