I saw a comic like this a while ago on facebook (that now i can’t find ;-;;) and the first thing i tought of was chat so… I made a crappy comic!

“Are you ready?”

“Ready as I’ll ever be.” You rolled your suitcase with your best friend, Jimin. You two have done everything together and now you two were moving to Seoul together.

You and him managed to get into the same university, which was the only way your mom was going to let you leave her in Busan. She wanted you to stay home, being her only child and your dad skipping town on her when she was with you.

You reassured her before you hopped on the train with Jimin, giving her a tearful goodbye and sitting next to a nervous Jimin.

“Jimin, you’re shaking.”

“What, I’m not..”

“You’ll be fine. You got into a dorm, right?”

“Yeah but I don’t know who I’m living with and I can’t stay with you. Why did you decide to get an apartment?”

“No sharing and plus it had a cute view. Why didn’t you rent one?”

“Does your mom even know about this?”

“What she doesn’t know, won’t hurt her.”

“You better not have boys over, Y/N.”

“I’ll be lucky if I find a boy in the first place..” You trailed off, your eyes fixated on a dark haired boy. His eyes were engaged with the sketchbook in his hands, his eyebrows furrowed in concentration.

He was donned in all black, the apparent heat not in mind when he came onto the train. You outlined his profile, deeming handsome and mysterious immediately. As he got off at your stop, you could’ve sworn you saw a cat ears poking out of his head.

“Earth to Y/N-Yah!”

“What?”

“Not again..”

“What’s that supposed to mean?”

“You see a guy, likes his looks, dream about him for months, never ask him out but cries when he gets a girlfriend.”

“That was one time.”

“Three times and the third was at graduation.”

“Look, everyone works at their own pace and my pacing is just slower than most people’s.”

“You basically drooled over him for 8 months.”

“Oh, hush. That was high school, this is university.”

“You don’t change, do you?”

“Why are you so mean, Jiminie?”

“Who else is going to be honest with you? I’m only like this because I just want to be happy, Y/N.”

“Jimin..”

“Now, where’s your apartment?”

“Why do you need to know, short stack?”

“First, we’re literally the same height. Second, to make sure there’s no boys and plus I need to scope the area. Maybe there’s hot girls in your building.”

“Off limits.”

“Why?” He whined and you poked at his cheeks. You simply shook your head, making him pout and look even cuter. You called for a taxi, giving him your building address and driving a few blocks. Jimin followed you there, paying the driver and you went to the front desk.

“How can I help you?”

“I’m Y/N. I’m the girl who called yesterday about picking up my keys today.”

“Oh, right. Just a moment.” She went into the back room and came back wIth a key.

“I have to make another spare for you just in case and your boxes are in your apartment. So, enjoy.” She gave you a sweet smile and you returned the gesture

“Thank you.” You took your bag upstairs and Jimin kept talking about how pretty your landlord was.

“I wonder if all girls were that cute.”

“How did you get in university?”

“My dance skills are a blessing?”

“Right.”

“Finally.” You skipped to your door and eagerly opened it. The room was filled with boxes but you still squealed with excitement.

“It’s just boxes.”

“Yeah but they’re my boxes in my apartment.”

“I should have invited you to more parties.”

“I’m not that awkward.”

“Whatever helps you sleep, best friend.”

“I was going to go with you to the dorms but not anymore. Enjoy talking to your scary new roomie, you meanie.”

“I was just kidding!”

“I’m not.. Now if you would excuse me, I have boxes to unpack.”

“I’ll help.”

“As soon as we finish up, you’re out of here.” He helped you with the boxes in your room first, making sure you didn’t finish it all that you could still sleep somewhere. Next was the kitchen, then the living room and you sat on your couch.

“Get up, lazy bum.”

“We’ve been packing since 10, it’s 3. Go home, Jimin. You’ve done enough.”

“You said I can leave when we unpack everything-”

“Jimin, are you still nervous?”

“Of course, I am. What if my roommate is some weirdo that’s into voodoo or something? What if they’re some buff guy into loud heavy metal and I can’t stand up to him? What if-”

“You’re totally overthinking the situation? Yeah, you are but Jimin, you’ll be fine. And if you’re really scared, I’ll let you sleep on my couch.”

“I’ll take my chances.”

“Yah!” He chuckled and you hit him with a pillow before leaving your apartment with his stuff. You changed your clothes, glad you unpacked that first and decided to greet your neighbour.

You knocked on the door beside yours and waited for someone to open the door. As the door swung open, everything in that moment was in slow motion. There he was, your mysterious artist dressed in black and standing in all his glory.

Your eyes took note on his body now that it had a better view. His body was slim but his arms were buff. His thighs were thick and his hair was definitely a jet black. His eyes were obsidian and you could feel the aura of intimidation from his towering height.

The car ears sat on his head and he looked at you in annoyance.

“What do you want?”

“I just wanted to say hi to my new neighbours since this is the first time I’ve left my hometown and-” His eyes squinted in further annoyance and you stop yourself.

“I always ramble when I’m nervous, it’s a bad habit.”

“Yeah, it is.”

“Was I interrupting something?”

“Yes, you were. Are we done here?”

“I-I guess.” His door swung closed just as fast as it opened and you stood a little shocked.

So much for first impressions.

This is just the start of the kitten!Jungkook series? What do y'all think? ^w^
