Description: Bucky’s An Awkward Duckling And I Love Him Very Much.

Description: Bucky’s an awkward duckling and I love him very much.

A/N: Here’s another guilt drabble. I swear I’m working on Making History, but work is hell. Zero out of ten, would not recommend.

“Steve,” Y/N whined. “When’re we stopping for the night? We’ve been driving for hours.”  She shifted uncomfortably and rammed her legs into the back of Sam’s seat. In response, he reclined his chair and sandwiched her back against the car. “Ugh!”

Steve wearily sighed and watched Y/N struggle with Sam in the mirror. He was exhausted, mentally and physically, and his friends, or should he say his children, weren’t making the trip easier. “Sorry, but it’s gonna be a few hours. Just try to take a nap, alright?”

“How? I can’t get comfortable!” she groaned.

“Deal with it,” Sam said with a smirk.

Y/N huffed and pounded her fists into the back of his seat. She looked at Bucky, eyes pleading for help, but he just shrugged and offered a sympathetic smile. He knew better than to sit behind Sam on a road trip. He turned and starred out his window, watching quietly as the trees blurred into the night horizon and the world passed him by.

“Fine.” Y/N unbuckled her seatbelt and slid out from under Sam. She scooted over and planted herself in the middle seat, kicking her feet up on the armrest. “Much better,” she sighed in content.

When she rested her body against Bucky’s, the breath hitched in his throat. His heart skipped a beat and pounded so hard that he swore she could hear it. He hadn’t had anyone be this comfortable around him in decades. Usually, they didn’t even want to look at him, much less touch him.

He liked the feeling, though. It was a cold night, and Steve insisted on leaving the AC on, but Bucky could feel Y/N’s warmth radiate through the fabric of her sweater. “I’m gonna try to get some sleep. That okay, Jamie?” She asked and smiled up at him.

The flush rose in his cheeks and he just nodded.  “Good,” she yawned. She stretched as much as she could in the small space. Within an hour, she had fallen asleep curled against him, head resting gently in his lap. He tried to focus on anything other than her, but her sweet snores and sleepy mumbling strained his concentration.

Bucky tapped Steve’s shoulder. “Steve,” he whispered. “Steve we have to pull over.”

“Why, Buck?”

“Because Y/N fell asleep,” Bucky said.

“And?” Steve asked.

“You keep hittin’ bumps and I don’t want her to wake up,” he answered matter-of-factly. He ran his fingers through her hair, gently playing with it.

Sam scoffed. “Does the Winter Soldier have a crush?” He teased.

“No,” Bucky sneered, lying to himself. “I just want her to get some rest, okay?”

Steve grinned over at Sam. “Oh yeah, he’s definitely crushing.”

“Bucky and Y/N sittin’ in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g-” Sam started.

“I hate both of you.”

That’s the Wrong Sister (Steve Rogers x reader)

Request: food-books-and-bed said: Can I request a story where the reader was Natasha’s twin and was walking down the street or something and someone needed help and mistook her for Natasha and Steve was watching and he made her join the team she and Steve hookup but he falls for her

Sometimes it was almost a curse to be the twin sister of Natasha Romanoff.  It was definitely a bad choice to live in the same city, where her enemies knew where to find her and where anyone at any time could ask her to save them.  You tried to dress conservatively, hoping to cover your identity as much as possible without being totally hidden from the world.  You still had a life to live, after all.

Tonight was one of those nights that had you wishing that you would have just stayed home.  You could hear a woman screaming from somewhere nearby, but the sound seemed to come from all around you.  Moving to the middle of the street, you looked quickly for any cars before closing your eyes and listening; trying to decide which direction to run, trying to drown out the background noises of the city around you.

“Ma’am?”

“Shh!” you scolded the voice next to you, raising your hand to demand his silence.  You never even opened your eyes to see who it was, running away from him as your senses sorted out which direction the woman’s scream was coming from.  You didn’t hear him follow you either.

When you reached the alley, you stopped at the sight of a man holding a woman against a building with a knife to her throat as he rummaged through her purse.  She was doing her best not to panic, and tried to hold her reaction when she saw you in her peripheral vision as to not give you away.

“Hey,” you called out, stepping into his line of sight, “I think you should let her go before this gets ugly.”

The man pulled his knife away and released her, now turning to you.  She grabbed her bag and ran from the alley, leaving him for you.  “Hey, cutie,” he smirked in a gravelly voice that sounded old and worn, “you’ve got a lot of nerve, scaring off my catch there. You taking her place?”

“I’m here to kick your ass.”

The man spun the knife around in his hand and stepped back to lower himself into a lunge, shooting himself forward at you.  You simply shook your head and sighed, easily grabbing his arm when he attempted to swing the blade at you, firmly twisting and snapping his shoulder from its joint.  He was now lying at your feet, whimpering and begging for you to stop pushing your foot into his chest.  You grabbed his knife and slipped it into your boot, leaning down to capture his gaze.

“At least make it a challenge for me,” you mumbled.  “I’m sure you have a few questions, but I had plans that you so rudely interrupted.” You pulled out your phone and called for police to come pick him up, looking around to see if anyone had been watching.  The alley was dark and you didn’t see anyone, but you couldn’t shake the feeling that someone was there.

Once the sirens grew closer and you could see the lights on the nearby street, you jumped to the nearest fire escape and climbed up until you were out of view, watching the man to be sure he didn’t try to run.  Satisfied with his removal, you jumped to the next building and then the next, lowering yourself to the ground to leave and resume your original plans for the night.

Back at the site of the incident, Steve watched as you disappeared into the darkness.  He stood motionless for several minutes before a dark figure dropped down next to him from above; another witness to your control of the situation.

“Rogers.”

“Murdock.”

“So, who’s that one? These vigilante types are just crawling from the woodwork, huh?”

Steve looked at Matt and sighed loudly, disbelieving what was being said.  “Really?  You mean like you?”

“Hey, this isn’t about me,” Matt said nervously, raising his hands in defeat and slowly backing away. “Okay…so…nice chat, Cap.  I best be on my way.”

Pulling his phone from his pocket, Steve paused for a moment before making the call that could change your life from this day forward.  He slowly dialed, considering his decision before entering the final number, but finally gave in and put the phone to his ear.

“Hey, Nat.  I have a few questions to run by you.  You got a minute?”

~~~
“She doesn’t want to be found, Steve.  I can’t say that I blame her.”
“Okay, but why didn’t you tell me you that you have a sister?  You’re in the same city, and yeah it’s a big city, but there’s always a chance that we would run into her.”  Steve looked up at Natasha across the small café table with a small smirk, taking a drink of his coffee, “I thought she was you.”
“She’s good.  Not as good as me, of course, but she has no problem holding her own.”
“Can you bring her in?”
Natasha sat her cup down on the table with a loud thud and a shocked look on her face as she all but choked on her drink.  “To the team?!  Are you joking?  Cap, I just said, she doesn’t want to be found.  I did say that in English, right?”
“Yeah, you did,” he chuckled.  “But all the same, I think it’s the right thing to do.”  Steve quickly took the last swallow of his coffee and stood to leave, looking down at his teammate, “you in or out?”
“I’m out.”
~~~

The overly enthusiastic and loud banging on your door startled you enough to drop your phone before you could send another reply back to your sister, who had tried to give you a little warning that he was trying to find you; you were surprised that the Captain had arrived so quickly.  You stood to open the door, but had made a firm decision to not let him in.

“Well, I must say you sure didn’t waste any time finding me.  Did she tell you or are you just that resourceful?”

“I prefer to not divulge my methods,” he said, looking down at you with a commanding presence that did anything but put you at ease.  He was more intimidating than you would have imagined after what you had read about him and what Nat had told you.  “May I?” He pushed his way through the door before you could reply, taking full advantage of your stunned silence.

“You know, that’s rude to just force your way into someone’s home.  In fact, I think that’s called trespassing, Captain Rogers.  Not very law abiding for a walking flag.”

Steve looked down at the clothes he was wearing, a pair of jeans and a simple button down shirt, and looked back at you with confusion.  “I’m not even wearing the suit-“

“Can’t escape it, sorry,” you sighed, shutting the door once you decided that he wasn’t about to leave any time soon.  “You just ooze patriotism.”  You took a deep breath and turned to look at him, doing your best to hold your resolve and not take him up on the offer that you knew was coming.  Doing your best to not fall prey to the man that Nat had warned you about only moments ago.  The man that she knew was much too close to your type, and that you would find hard to say no to.  “No thanks, Captain.  I know what you are here to offer, and I don’t want you to waste your time or energy.”

“She told you.”

“She’s my sister.  You think she wouldn’t?”

Steve took a few steps closer with a slight sense of urgency and fear that he would lose any shot to convince you of his plan before you even gave him a chance.  “Okay, but hear me out.  You didn’t break a sweat the other night; you didn’t even look like you were engaged in it.  It was too easy.  You must have skills similar to hers, right?”

“I said no.”

“Natasha told me that you were trained with her, but you stayed behind after she left the Red Room. You stayed on and trained new girls-“

Finished with his lack of respect for your answer, you stepped behind him and twisted his arm back, pushing him into the wall and pressing his face against it.  He didn’t fight back at all, not even pushing back when you held him tighter.

“What part of ‘no’ is Captain America having a hard time with?  Is it the ‘n’ or the ‘o’?  Perhaps it’s a lack of manners that’s the problem?   Do you make it a habit to just barge into someone’s home and spout off until you get your way?  Do you always get your way, Steve?  Is that it?”

You swore you heard him growl; like some strange animalistic noise coming from his throat.  You held your ground, waiting for him to turn the tables on you, planting your feet firmly to keep your leverage against him. “Hmm?  Nothing?  I thought you were more than just a shield, Rogers.”

Those must have been the magic words to spring him into action.  It a flurry of twisting arms and legs, punches and kicks, fingers weaved into hair and hands around throats, it was a matter of seconds before you were pinned to the ground and he was looking down at you.  His hands were like vice grips holding your arms to the floor; you couldn’t so much as even wiggle your fingers.

“Now that we have that out of the way,” Steve panted, “can we get back to business?  You’re skills are impressive, (Y/N).”  The look in his eyes was shifting, and softening slightly, but they were still intense and held your attention with the deepness of the blue in them.  You felt a shift in your interaction, and you could see that he did too.  “Alright…maybe…maybe it would be best if we got off the floor and talked in a more civilized way.”

He finally stood and held his hand out to you to help you up, no longer making the eye contact he had so firmly held seconds ago.  “Alright, talk,” you sighed, straightening out your shirt as you stood.  “You have ten minutes to convince me of every reason why I should go with you.”

~~~
Steve was a very convincing man.  It likely had a lot to do with the fact that you now wanted to let him convince you so you could see more of him.  You had spoken only a handful of words to him, but you listened to him go on and on about how the Avengers were a cohesive team that wanted to protect and make things right.  He was so passionate about what he believed, that you couldn’t help but be convinced, and now here you were, about to meet everyone.
“Just wait here,” he whispered, resting his hand over yours as if it were natural to do so.  When you looked down at it, he pulled away quickly and cleared his throat in embarrassment.  “Um, I’m just gonna see who’s here before you come in.  Looking so much like Nat might be a bit of a shock for them.”
After about five minutes he returned to the front door to bring you in, looking slightly disappointed about something.  “Well, no one’s here right now, but I can give you a tour if you’d like?”  His eyes were filled with anticipation that you would agree to stay, so you quickly took his hand for him to lead the way.
“Alright,” he sighed, looking down at your two hands and your fingers intertwined, seeming a bit uncomfortable at the contact.  “gym first.”
“No,” you said, pulling back against his arm to stop him and keeping your hand in place as you spoke. “You said the tower’s empty, right?”
“Uh…yeah…?”
Being forward wasn’t your strong suit, and you were usually uncomfortable showing guys any interest, but this was no normal guy.  You may never have this opportunity again, so you took the chance, pulling him down for a kiss, wrapping your other hand around his neck.  He responded quickly, pressing his mouth roughly against yours, his tongue searching desperately and dancing with yours.  You lost your breath when he lifted you from the floor, and you had to wrap your legs around him to keep your balance.
The breath was knocked from your chest slightly as he slammed your back into the wall, still kissing you with ferocity and need.  He pulled his head back and began to leave hot kisses down your neck, his warmth leaving goosebumps on your skin.
“This isn’t like me,” you panted.  “I swear…it’s just…that you…”
“I know…but I don’t want to stop myself.”
~~~

You woke the next morning to incessant buzzing from your phone and countless texts from Natasha, undoubtedly worried that she hadn’t heard from you since telling her you were going to meet with Steve.

Did you see the tower last night?

Steve said he convinced you to stop by.

Where are you?

Are you still asleep?  Wake up, already.

Have you heard from Steve?

“God, she’s persistent,” you whispered to yourself, rolling onto your back and rubbing the sleep from your eyes.  “You get to tell her, not me.”

“She’s your sister,” Steve said in a sleepy voice, “I’m not getting in the middle of that.”

“It didn’t seem to bother you last night.”  You sat up and stretched, yawning as your body pulled it’s aching muscles, “alright, then what should I say?”

“Tell her that you didn’t get a tour of the tower because I was too busy taking advantage of her only sister.”

You tapped away at your phone for a few seconds then tossed it on the table next to you.  “Okay.”

Steve’s face went immediately pale and his mouth hung open in shock.  “You didn’t…”

You gave him a mischievous smile and quietly began, “Five…four…three…two…one…”

The furious banging on his door surprised him, jumping at the sound of the angry Russian on the other side.  “Steven Rogers, you seem to have forgotten how many ways there are for me to kill you!”

Meet me tomorrow

A/N: Alright, this is one shot requested by anon, thank you :) Right now it’s just a one shot, but if you will like it, I can write another chapter or more. Just let me know. :)  Takes time probably before Thor first movie or somewhere around beginning, since Loki here is still that innocent boy he used to be. Gif is not mine.

Imagine living on Asgard and being simple, shy girl. One day you catch Loki’s attention, just because you are as different as he is.

Meet Me Tomorrow

Oh, why me? Please, why me? You lamented in your mind, walking through the room in palace, among a heap of people, most of them drunk. They were celebrating another success in battle but you’ve never been interested in.. well, this.  You were quietly looking for your father, trying not to draw attention. After a while you found him, with his head on  the table and probably sleeping. You rushed towards him, shaking his shoulder. “Dad. Daddy. Father!” you raised your voice and he quickly moved up his head. “What-..what..is going on, sweetheart?” “It’s really late, mother asked me to bring you home. So please do not make it worse than it has to be. Come with me,” you tried to convince him, since he looked like he wanted to lie on the table again. “Wait a minute, Y/N. Just give me a second,” he murmured and you sighed, then sat beside him into the corner. “Alright, a minute. Then we are going home,” you replied and leaned against a wall. You went quiet and looked around. When you saw your neighbour, a girl not much older than you, sitting on Fandral’s lap and laughing, you just raised your eyebrows and looked away. There was a really loud older prince with his friends and women who acted just like your neighbour. But then someone else caught your attention - younger prince Loki, who quietly with his eyebrows furrowed, read his book, between all this mess and loud people. But it didn’t seem to bother him at all. You tilted your head to the side and smile formed on your lips. He was unlike everyone else in the room. Calm, quiet and sober. You watched the way one black lock of his hair fell across his forehead and then his pale fingers put it back on place. You slid your gaze lower on his book and after a while of looking, you recognized you already read this one. When you returned your sight back on his face, your heart skipped a beat since his eyes were set right on you and he looked amused. You quickly looked away, feeling heat on your cheeks. You nervously bit your lip before shaking your father’s shoulder again. “Dad, come on wake up. We need to go,” and walk past both princes so let’s get over it as fast as we can, daddy. “Let’s go then,” he mumbled and got up. You quickly caught up his elbow to prevent him from falling and then you lead him further. Your cheeks burned again, knowing you were with every step closer to prince Loki, from whom you couldn’t take your eyes off just a few minutes ago and he saw it. “Something caught your eye, lady.. what is your name?” You heard prince’s smooth voice and you closed your eyes. Why me? Oh, why me again? You turned to him and met his playful eyes and amused smile. “My name is Y/N, your highness,” you bowed down your head and took a deep breath, “and I.. well, I just.. I’ve read the same book,” you replied finally. “Really? And what did you learn from it?” he asked, looking like he was truly having fun. You bit your lip again, not so sure how to answer. “I do not wish to take you a chance to learn it yourself, my prince,” you replied with a small smile and he laughed. “You are clever, lady.. Y/N,” he added after a short pause. The way his voice gracefuly played with syllables of your name made you shiver, “May I accompany you? It seems you need a little help,” he pointed at your father, who was now leaning against the table. You slightly nodded. Loki got up from his seat and while you lead your father out of the room again, you felt touch of his fingers on your waist for a moment. Then he took your father’s shoulder on the other side. Just when you were about to tell him he should not do this, he spoke frist. “So tell me, do you always read books or you just read this one?” You felt his gaze on you while walking under the sky full of stars, but you didn’t look at him. You couldn’t help your smile. No man ever wanted to talk with you about reading books. Except him. “I always do it. All the time. Father says that no one is going to pay me for reading books so I better find something else to do but I just can not help it.” “Me either,” he replied and you looked at him. With that simple answer you felt like you could tell him everything you wanted to talk about but no one was ever interested, “I am learner and magician rather than.. warrior.” “Now, that is truly..” “..strange?” “Special. I think it’s special.” You kept looking into his eyes, smiling a little. You kept watching his handsome face and graceful moves. “We are nearly home, so.. thank you for your help and company, your highness,” you said and he smiled again. “Just Loki, please. And, my lady, if I may ask you, meet me tomorrow after lunch right on this place,” he pointed at the tree, a few meters behind you, “if you want. I have something I am dying to show you.” You kept looking at him, even when your father started mumbling something again. Is the prince really asking me to meet him again? “And what is it?” you asked, walking towards your home and leading your dad the right way. “A surprise. Will you come?” This must be a dream. “Gladly,” you answered making him smile. Then he turned over and walked back towards the palace. That night you didn’t sleep a single minute.

Also, I just have a lot of feelings about this:

(x)

Because Natasha is almost always the one to initiate when it comes to Steve:

mentions Phil Coulson’s Captain America trading cards when she first meets Steve to ease him into the chaotic atmosphere of the helicarrier

continuously tries to set him up, to the point where she can bring it up in the middle of a mission and he just goes along

texts him about business with emoticons

steals the hard-drive Fury gave to Steve and, instead of cracking it on her own like she very well could’ve, she goes back to the hospital to find Steve because she wants to work with him, as a team

and then literally bares her scars to him and makes a joke about it because making jokes during tense situations is what she does and again, Steve is so used to it that he goes along with it

I’m not going to use The Kiss as a point because that’s technically cover stuff, but after, she openly asks him about his “dating life” and rather than seeming surprised or whatever when he admits that he’s kissed at least one person since coming off the ice, she looks happy for him because he’s actually trying

he comes to her to ask what’s bothering her after they find refuge in Sam’s guest bedroom, because Steve Rogers comforts people, he tries to help them, it’s what he does - but Natasha reaches out to him, asks him about something that’s very important to her - if he trusts her - because she genuinely wants to know, maybe she’s almost desperate to after he’s saved her life, and she almost can’t help it, so she asks because she wants to know how he sees her

THE CHEEK KISS IN THE CEMETERY

joins in on teasing Steve about the “language!” and instead of acting exasperated like with the others, he actually teasingly fights back

accepts their supposed impending death in Sokovia with this sad, small smile on her face, looking perfectly content to spend her last moments with him, so comfortable in his presence that she doesn’t even have to look at him -  his presence is enough

Natasha almost goes out of her way to connect with Steve and I love it, not just as a shipper, but as someone who loves Natasha and hates seeing her characterized as emotionally distant and detached. Is she cautious? Yes. Is she not as affectionate as others? Yes. But she doesn’t shy away from being openly affectionate with the people she cares about, the people she loves. It manifests in different ways - snarky banter with Clint, an understanding akin to loyalty with Fury, sympathetic conversations with Bruce. And with Steve? It means reaching out to him and making the first move. I think we all see a terrible loneliness in Steve and Natasha doesn’t want that for him. She wants him to feel like he belongs with them, in this time, because this is his home now and he deserves to feel that way. From the very beginning, she’s been the one to initiate a personal interaction with him and I think that says so much about how their relationship works, because Steve isn’t the one that wears his heart on his sleeve with personal matters like this, and he isn’t the one that is trying to fix her - she’s trying to be open to him, reaching out to him in a way she believes will finally get him to reach out, too. Maybe not to her specifically, which is why she tries to set him up with someone else, but she wants to see him reach out to someone, to lean on someone and not carry all of this weight on his own shoulders anymore. She wants to chip away at the ice so that he can have an intimate connection with someone and not be so alone, because if he has that with someone then it means that he finally has a reason to truly exist in this new life he was thrust into, and that means Natasha would’ve finally gotten it right.

Let Me Show You

Let Me Show You

Let Me Show You

Peter Parker X Reader

Written by: Hannah

Prompt(s): Hey! Can you please so a Peter Parker imagine where the two of you are dating and it’s your birthday and the two of you make plans but he ends up having to save the city so he doesn’t show up. And you don’t know he’s spiderman so u get super upset and hurt because you think he blew you off and he ends up revealing he’s spiderman to you. Thank you xx

Notes: This was so cute! Gahh I’ve had this imagine simmering in my mind for a bit now so hopefully it came out ok! Enjoy! :)

Warning(s): None.

(y/n) couldn’t believe their boyfriend had blew them off. It hurt, to say the least. To say the most? It felt like Peter Parker had shoved them off a cliff after countless hours of planning and clearing his schedule just for this day. For (y/n)’s birthday, which he was so excited to go out and celebrate. Or at least it had seemed, seeing as (y/n) sat alone, on their way home on the subway after waiting for Peter until the mall closed.

The tears started as soon as they made it into their room. Suddenly they were there, after trying so hard not to cry in the subway, and it wouldn’t stop. Tears pooled around the corners of their eyes and slid down their red, rosey cheeks as the hurt settled in.

********

Peter Parker knew he had blown it big time. It was dark out and he was exiting his room after hastily putting his regular wear on over the Spider-Man costume, making sure to shove the gloves and the mask into his pockets. Despite the moon high in the sky the teenager raced to (y/n)’s house.

He knocked, fidgeting. When their parent opened the door Peter could only stammer a hello before sliding in, running up to (y/n)’s room.

“(y/n)! I’m soooo sorry, I know it’s your birthday- shit I forgot your present- (y/n)- you’re crying- shit I made you cry-”

“Peter just stop! Wh- I-” (y/n) hesitated, not even sure what to say. For one thing they weren’t in the mood to see or even listening to Peter. The couple had scheduled to celebrate this day for almost a month and Peter had made sure to be free. And he didn’t even show up after all that work.

“I-…I’m just- so sorry, (y/n). There was an accident- Aunt May hurt herself earlier this afternoon-”

“What?! No she didn’t Peter, I asked her where you were earlier this evening! And we talked and she was perfectly fine. She thought you were with me, Pete. I don’t- why are you lying to me?”

Peter bit his lip, knowing he was caught. He couldn’t meet (y/n)’s gaze. They were devastated, he had hurt them really bad. And then tried to lie, to save his skin and his secret life as a superhero. Sighing, Peter reached into his pocket before he stopped, finally meeting (y/n)’s angry, confused, and hurt gaze.

“I’ll…I’ll tell you what I was doing, ok? But you have to promise to not tell anybody- and I mean anybody! Ok?”

“Peter-”

“Just promise me!”

“…..Fine, Peter. I promise. I won’t tell anybody. Now what the hell were you doing that was so much more important than spending the day with me as you had scheduled a month for?”

Peter took a deep breath and pulled out the mask, holding it loosely in his hand. He slipped half of it onto his head, while (y/n) cocked an amused eyebrow and watched. The teen superhero quickly tore off his shirt, jacket, and jeans before (y/n) could stop him.

“I’m…I’m Spider-Man, ok? I- I wasn’t with you today because I was fighting Doc Ock again today.” Peter shifted while (y/n) snorted, “Peter- don’t try to pull this shit with me! I know you like Spider-Man but really? Cosplaying and still lying to my face? I’m hurt Peter, I’m genuinely hurt.” They turned away while Peter threw his hands into the air.

“I’m not lying, ok?! I promise- I’m not some cosplaying fan boy! I’m honestly Spider-Man! Look- Just- Look!” He shot a web onto the ceiling and effortlessly swung upside down, swaying as the blood rushed to his head.

“….I’m not lying to you. Do you want to take a swing through the city? I can take you on one. I can go and take you to meet Mr. Stark- no no probably Captain America- he’s more understanding-”

“Peter.” (y/n) stopped and looked at their boyfriend. It was hard to deny the uncanny similarities to the web-shooting hero and the fact that Peter was hanging upside down. But they were just so mad at Peter! Finally, after struggling for an answer, they held out their hand for Peter to take.

“Fine, Pete. Take me for a swing through the city, if you’re really Spider-Man.” Peter grinned at this and pulled (y/n) close. He pressed a kiss to their cheek before pulling his mask down. Easily enough he fired a web through the open window and onto a building.

“Hang on, it might be a little bumpy at first. But I promise I won’t drop you, so don’t worry.” He ensured.

At first (y/n) thought he was joking. This was proved wrong as before they even knew it Peter was swinging them over the New York’s still busy night streets. (y/n) watched the lights go by beneath them, mesmerized at the beauty of it all. Peter smiled beneath the mask, knowing he had won his beautiful and perfect (y/n) back over.

He brought them back to (y/n)’s room fifteen minutes later. He stood, nervous, with his back to the window as (y/n) gently listened to the beat of his heart. They seemed content, holding Peter in their arms.

“….I believe you. I’m sorry, Peter, for yelling. I was just…I was so mad that you weren’t there. I thought you had purposely blown me off.” They whispered. Peter nodded, his mask now back over his head. They swayed softly, “I would never purposely blow you off, (y/n). Know that I would never do that.”

“….Did he hurt you? Doc Ock?” (y/n) finally asked. Peter laughed and shook his head, “No, I’m fine. Besides, he’ll never be able to hurt me the way I felt today, knowing I had let you down. I love you, (y/n). Happy birthday.”

“Thank you Peter. I love you too.”

29. All I want is you! 50. So whose the unlucky girl?

There you were, sitting outside under a tree. You were lost in your book, not once taking your eyes off the pages.

Bucky watched your from afar. A smile appearing on his lips. He was captivated by you. Ever since the first second he saw you walk in to Tony’s lab, he was hooked.

That was about six months ago, and he had made it his mission to get to know you.

But little did he know, he would start to fall for you. Which brought him here.

He took in a deep breath, and started toward you. His heart was pounding profusely with every step he took.

“Hey.” He muttered, capturing your attention.

You shot your gaze up to him, squinting your eyes as the sun blinded you for a moment. “Hi!” You smiled.

Bucky loved that smile, it was the one he had memorized.

“I kind of need help with something.” He exhaled, digging his hands deep into his pockets.

You closed your book, and propped up to your feet. You raised a brow, crossing your arms over your chest. “So whose the unlucky girl?” You teased.

Bucky swallowed hard, glancing at the floor then back to you. His stomach was churning more and more. “Uh–”

“Let me guess, is it that girl from the bar! The blonde chick that you slept with?Because she didn’t seem like your type. Just saying.”

He shook his head feeling the heat radiate off his body. “No.” He exhaled. “Actually, it’s you.”

Suddenly you were frozen. As your eye brows furrowed, you locked your gaze with his. Scanning his face for bluff. “Bullshit.” You lightly chuckled.

Bucky quickly licked his lips. “I’m serious Y/N. All I want is you.” He stated. “I am completely and hopelessly in love with you.”

“B-But what about–what about the blonde? The one you’ve been–”

“I tried to push my feelings aside but I couldn’t because, she’s not you.” He expressed. “No matter how hard I try, I can’t seem to stop thinking about you.”

“Buck-”

“I love you Y/N.”

Pairing: Bucky x Reader

Anon request:  Hey love, if your taking requests could you do a Bucky x reader where they are at a pool party with the other avengers and its just pure fluff and cuteness. Thanks 💖

Masterlist

You’d first met Bucky at one of Tony’s elaborate parties. Completely by accident, while trying to avoid the crowded social event, you’d stumbled out onto an empty balcony and right into Bucky. He too disliked large crowds, they made him anxious. From that moment, the two of you were inseparable. He would help you with your research in the lab and you would calm him in the middle of the night after a particularly frightening nightmare. Tony would often find the two of you at the kitchen table in the early hours of the morning, just sitting together in comfortable silence while sipping on coffee. The two of you never put any kind of label on your relationship, but if you had, Bucky wouldn’t hesitate to call you his.

This weekend you were faced with another of Tony’s social get-togethers. He was hosting a pool party for everyone on the team in celebration of the success of their last mission. You’d planned on skipping it, opting instead to catch up on your favorite TV shows with a warm blanket and your favorite snacks. Wanda and Natasha had other plans. The two of them waltzed into your room, tossing you a towel and a new bathing suit. “Put that on. You’re coming out with us.” Wanda used her power to levitate your laptop away from you. You loved the two women like sisters, but they didn’t understand your lack of social skills. Realizing that they wouldn’t leave you be until you complied, you reluctantly changed, draping the towel around your shoulders. Natasha and Wanda  excitedly made their way to the pool, leaving you to wander the hallways on your own. As you neared the door to the pool deck, Steve stopped you. “Hi, Y/N! It’s good to see you out and about! Tony told me about the new project you’re working on and, I have to say, I think it’s brilliant.” He gave you a radiant smile and you shyly thanked him before finding the chair farthest from the pool and settling down with your book.

After about twenty minutes, your body temperature was too high to allow you to sit comfortably. You contemplated going back inside to the air conditioned living room but remembered something Wanda had told you during one of your late-night talks. “You need to take risks, Y/N. I know it might seem scary at first, but you might discover something new about yourself.” Mustering up all the confidence you could manage, you dropped your towel and stepped into the pool. The cool water rippled around you and you decided you were quite pleased with this decision. You kept to the far end of the pool, avoiding the splashing and rough housing from the rest of the team. You jumped slightly when you felt a presence behind you.

“So they made you come out too?” The ends of Bucky’s long hair were dripping as he rested his arms on the ledge of the pool. “Steve and Natasha came in this morning and practically threatened me.” he added with a light laugh. You returned his smile and the two of you talked for the next few minutes, occasionally splashing each other playfully if a sarcastic comment was made. Suddenly, Thor announced that he would like to attempt the human custom known as ‘the cannonball’ and proceeded to take a running leap toward the pool. Bucky pulled you toward his chest, attempting to use his body to shield you from the giant wave Thor’s jump had produced. Unfortunately, the two of you were hit with an enormous wall of water.

When you opened your eyes, wiping the droplets from your face, you had to stifle a laugh. Bucky’s hair was completely plastered to his face. You couldn’t see his eyes or his cheeks and his lips were parted in shock. You couldn’t help but giggle as you reached to push his hair back, smiling as he stood before you muttering about something about how someone always ruins his moment. The rest of the team was completely oblivious to your interaction and none took any notice when you took Bucky’s hand and pulled him out of the pool. You tossed his towel over his head, ruffling it gently to dry his hair. Out of the corner of your eye, you saw Natasha nudging Steve and whispering something in his ear.

Bucky peeked out from under the towel, a huge smile on his face. “My mother used to do that when I was little” he said. He picked up your towel and draped it around your shoulders, taking a corner of the cloth and using it to gently dry the stray droplets on your cheek. “Y/N? Open your eyes.” You were so caught up in the feeling of Bucky’s touch that you hadn’t even realized that you’d closed your eyes and leaned into his hand. Bucky’s light eyes were just inches from yours and their corners crinkled slightly from the force of his smile. The team had become suspiciously quiet, and you peeked around Bucky’s large frame to see them all staring at you, open-mouthed and clearly in shock.

“They’re staring aren’t they” Bucky chuckled quietly. You nodded. “I’ve got a plan. Take a step toward me and pretend to slip. I’ll pick you up and run us back into the tower.” You stared at him, wide-eyed.

“Bucky I don’t know if that’s such a goo-” You immediately slipped on the wet ground and Bucky took this as a sign that you were going along with his plan. He lifted you up and started toward the door only to trip over a pool float that Tony had left out. This sent you both toppling back into the water.

When you surfaced, Bucky was immediately by your side, mumbling apologies and checking to see if you were injured.

“Well that was painfully awkward and yet frighteningly adorable, don’t you agree?” Tony stated, using his champagne glass to gesture to the team.

Episode

A/N: Okay, let me say right now that I really like this request and I just really hope I can do it justice. Haha. Feel free to continue requesting imagines or drabbles!! :)

Prompt: @arianaamaris asked: Hi!! I just followed you! I really liked ‘Your Highness’ it was really well done. So I was wondering, if you wouldn’t mind, a Bucky X Reader where Bucky has an episode one day in his room when he starts to have nightmares and she runs in to help him. While she tries Bucky kinda hurts her and so to not hurt her tells her to get out of the room and she really doesn’t want to leave so she just sleeps curled on his shut door. Then he finds her and takes her in. Lol I’m sorry if it’s a lot!! Thanks!

A loud shout shook you awake from you peaceful sleep. Nightmares weren’t new to you. They weren’t new to anyone, especially after the recent of events. You’d known the team for close to four years, now and had officially been welcome to join the team two years ago. You sat up, rubbing your eyes as another shout sounded from the room next to you. You woke up more as you processed the shouts as Bucky’s.

You pushed the blankets off of you as you worried for Bucky’s safety. The two of you had been together for a few months and you’d witnessed a few episodes once or twice, but they never scared you. Bucky frequently worried that you’d run away after witnessing a particularly strong episode, but you never left. You’d always been around, always.

You walked into Bucky’s room and spotted him standing on the other side of the room. He was pacing around the room, looking for something. He had already thrown the table over and broke his window. You weren’t sure what to do, but you knew sneaking up on him wasn’t a good option. “Bucky,” you spoke, cautiously.

Bucky’s eyes whipped towards you, showing both fear and coldness. You’d never seen this look in his eyes and you were a little scared, but you weren’t going to run away. You stood your ground and watched as he winced. “Y/N,” he rasped. “Leave, it isn’t safe for you in here.”

Yes, I went through all 39 episodes of Hannibal, and selected frames from every shot Hugh Dancy and Mads Mikkelsen shared the screen.
