i’ve always loved the sun/moon aspect of simon and baz’s relationship. they were complete opposites yet so similar. “because we match.” i’ve had this drawing lingering at the forefront of my mind for quite a while and i knew i had to illustrate it. the biggest problem for me is being afraid of not having the drawing live up to the expectations i’ve had of it in my mind, but i’m quite (read as ‘very’) satisfied with how this turned out. watch me make this my phone wallpaper. 

baz is looking a little grey, and simon’s hair is a bit browner than i intended, but nonetheless, this is completed. done. this is it, chief.

During Freshman year of High School I had an ecology project where I had to make an ecosystem. Me, being the biggest nerd ever decided to go all out and make it Harry Potter themed. (Yes, I drew the tiny Harry at the top right).

Carry On Alternative Ending:

It's the Summer before Eighth year again. Baz isn't kidnapped by numptites. The visitings never happen. The political climate is deteriorating as is Simon's and Baz's relationship. Simon and Agatha are still together.

Needless to say, nothing in Carry On happens.

The year goes on as the ones before it, and before they know it, Simon and Baz are having their big fight. Simon has Baz on the ground, and he's holding his swordtip over Baz's heart. Simon can't read his face, though there's a tear slipping down Baz's face. A few feet away, on either sides of Simon and Baz are Penny, Agatha, Dev, and Niall.

"Do it," Baz says.

Simon grimaces, his brow furrowed. He looks troubled. Baz can't understand why. "I never wanted it to come to this."

Simon brings his sword down through Baz's chest.

"I love you," Baz says at the same time that Simon says "I'm sorry."

Simon drops his sword, and collapses onto the ground, just as the sun falls beneath the horizon. Before he knows what's happening, the ground is spinning out from below him and he feels as if he's being taken somewhere.

He opens his eyes and comes face to face with a 15 year old Baz.

Nathalie Sancœur's name:

On one hand, Nathalie Sancœur's last name translates to "heartless". On the other hand, it's one letter away from "rancœur" which translates to "resentment", and it makes me wonder... Will she grow to resent Hawkmoth/Gabriel? Will she become a greater villain, or will she turn towards the good side. This is a bit of a stretch, but I really can't help but wonder, especially since we still have so many episodes and seasons to go. Perhaps she'll truly change into a true mother figure for Adrien. What if she discovers his secret? Will she stay silent, or tell Gabriel? Will she get a redemption arc? We've seen scenes with her where she bends the rules for Adrien, but we've also seen her fall deeper in love with Gabriel. Which will she choose?
