John Walker getting a best down from the Dora Milaje wasn't just great television or even "fan service". There a lot going on in that scene which will be dissected just below

The Dora enter the scene when John Walker has just threatened Sam. One of them throws a spear into a beam between them, protecting Sam who is obviously didn’t want to fight.

So John Walker started the fight by threatening a Black man who helped defend Wakanda. #WinterSpoilers

John’s behavior toward the Dora is insulting and passive aggressive & FILLED WITH MICRO AGGRESSIONS (Like when he referred to their spears as "pointy sticks). He touches Ayo without her permission in a gesture that white men often claim is friendly but is actually a condescending way they assert their authority and power over others, especially women.

YOU DO NOT PUT HANDS ON A BLACK WOMAN WHOM YOU ARE PAINFULLY UNFAMILIAR WITH. It is not cute neither is it an ice breaker. Just F*cking DON'T ✋🏾🚫🛑

We’ve seen John uses that gesture before, along with his nonchalant “aw shucks” act before. At this point we, the audience, should be aware that it is a mask that covers calculated violence and can’t be reasoned with. Ayo sure sees it. #WinterSpoilers

Which makes it very interesting to see so many people cast the Dora as aggressors in this situation. It shows how much we’ve internalized white supremacy that we see a white man we know to be dangerous threaten a Black man but frame Black women as the aggressors.

PS I understand that by virtue of how the fight scene is filmed it looks like the Dora, Ayo especially, have lethal intent. But if anything the fight demonstrates that if the Dora Milaje want someone dead he would be dead. They left those men alive. 🤷🏽‍♀️

And by returning the shield, they demonstrated that John Walker was of ZERO THREAT to them.

The Dora Milaje showed restraint and more importantly, class.

For those of you idiots saying "Don't make it about race", I say screw you. This show if anything shows how America views itself as the altruistic saviour when in truth they're little more than soiled cattle muddying & soiling everything they touch.

In some way, Dean hates Castiel. He hates how beautiful Cas is, how he loves this angel. He hates it.

But he loves Cas as well. It makes him mad because he's not used to be in love or being loved. Of course, Sam loves Dean. Sam is his brother, their love is something obvious. But it's not the same with the whole Cas Thing™. He loves Castiel in different way. Castiel isn't his baby brother, he never was.

Dean Winchester is in love with the fucking angel of the Lord and he hates it.

So when Cas confess his love, Dean doesn't understand. Why? Why Cas loves him? He can't think straight, he doesn't know what he should say. He says nothing.

And Cas dies. Dean wants to be dead too. He can't imagine world without Cas.

The world isn't his place after all, Dean from the beginning was supposed to be dead.

So he prays to Jack and begs Jack for mercy. He wants to be dead. But Jack doesn't listen.

23th March he tries to kill himself. Sam saves his life.

'' You don't understand! " Dean yells. " You think Cas' death was easy for me?" asks Sam. Dean doesn't reply because he knows that Sam also is mourning.

"I'm selfish, Dean. I don't want to be alone in this world" says quietly Sam. "I don't want to live in world without my big brother"

Dean says nothing but he still tries to end his life.

And someday his wishes come true — he's dead and he's in Heaven now. He finds Cas and kiss this stupid angel because he wants to. And because he can.

He's bisexual and he's proud of it.

He's not proud that he committed suicide and left Sam alone but he couldn't live without Cas.

So Sam has to learn how to be alive without Dean. It's sad but Dean knows Sam will make it.

My point is that Dean hates how in love he is.

things are cool now bc julian is safe and muriel seems to be happier than he was before. asra's parents are alright, nadia is the countness and portia is nadia's wife.

so yes, things are good now. they're happy and safe.

sometimes ronan thinks he doesn't deserve love.

he knows it's not true but... he jus knows he isn't that good, wise or nice. his words are like knives, he's brutal and he's always angry. but he also is honest, he takes care of everyone and everything and he just loves his family, friends and even people who doesn't deserve it.

on the other hand adam is scared of love.

he grew up in house without love, of course he's scared because of it. he didn't use to know how love looks like. but he loves. he loves gansey. he loves blue. he loves ronan. he loves henry. he loves noah. he even loves his dad. it's riddiculus, robert hurt him and even it's toxic and silly, adam loves him. he loves idea of robert parrish who is a good father.

ronan and adam have something in common — both of them think they don't deserve to be loved. and that's why they're in love with each other. no because of their look or their personality. they fell in love because they understand how feel to think you don't deserve love. it didn't make them stronger, it made them wiser.
