Him and Krem, surprisingly, aren't that close, mostly keeping it friendly-professional because Krem isn't exactly fond of Dorian, but he is close with Dalish

He gives up nobility after Trespasser as much as he can while being long-distance married to Dorian. Starts a deer farm there while still being an occasional menace. Both Cole and Sera visit him there
