A Couple Of Days Ago I Saw A Local Production Of The Great Comet And I Rlly Thought I Loved That Show

a couple of days ago i saw a local production of the great comet and i rlly thought i loved that show before but now im even more in love with it like its insane. that may have been my favorite theatre experience ever. it was an intimate little theatre with an entirely local cast and everyone was so talented and amazing i was blown away.

it’s getting really bad for me last night i had a dream where someone asked me about my different copies of war and peace and i was thrilled

i don’t even have interesting copies i just have different translations and then one that was my great grandmothers from the 50s or 40s but i think it’s funny i have multiple copies of war and peace i think abt it a lot

pierre being tolstoy’s self insert explains so much. like the several pages in the epilogue describing how happy everyone was to see him.

leo tolstoy pierre bezukhov war and peace pierre goes from everyone thinking he’s either slightly annoying or good to make fun of to the most loved man on planet earth and sure he takes eight hundred pages to get there but cmon even nikolai is thrilled and nikolai seems antagonized by almost everyone but this is one of the most harmless parts of the epilogue so i’ll let him have it
