Happy Thanksgiving everyone! đŠ
Neat.
Starting soon I will begin a new (very off and on) project of checking out the âUntold Tales of Spider-Manâ anthology book from 1997 and providing my thoughts on each of the prose stories contained within. The book was inspired by the comic book series of the same name back when it was a hot property and was even edited by its author, Kurt Busiek. In fact a few stories in the book were written by comic book alumni.
The agenda reads:
Untold Tales of Spider-Man 01: Side by Side with the Astonishing Ant-Man â by Will Murray
Untold Tales of Spider-Man 02: After the First Death⊠â by Tom DeFalco
Untold Tales of Spider-Man 03: Celebrity â by Christopher Golden and Jose R. Nieto
Untold Tales of Spider-Man 04: Better Looting Through Modern Chemistry â by John Garcia and Pierce Askegren
Untold Tales of Spider-Man 05: Identity Crisis â by Michael Jan Friedman
Untold Tales of Spider-Man 06: The Doctorâs Dilemma â by Danny Fingeroth
Untold Tales of Spider-Man 07: Moving Day â by John S. Drew
Untold Tales of Spider-Man 08: The Liar â by Ann Nocenti
Untold Tales of Spider-Man 09: Deadly Force â by Richard Lee Byers
Untold Tales of Spider-Man 10: The Ballad of Fancy Dan â by Ken Grobe and Steven A. Roman
Untold Tales of Spider-Man 11: Poison in the Soul â by Glenn Greenberg
Untold Tales of Spider-Man 12: Livewires â by Steve Lyons
Untold Tales of Spider-Man 13: Arms and the Man â by Keith R.A. DeCandido
Untold Tales of Spider-Man 14: My Enemy, My Savior â by Eric Fein
Untold Tales of Spider-Man 15: The Stalking of John Doe â by Adam-Troy Castro
I will be covering the stories from the audiobook put out by Dreamscape and Audible and copying over the plot synopses from Spiderfan.org to save myself some time.
Hope you enjoy!

âMen have had their say for a thousand years!â So take a ticket and get to the back of the queue.
A thousand years? Well, as a thirty something year old, that doesnât mean much to me.
So now what?
Am I supposed to stand here holding a ticket, watching men and boys sink into the ground around me; to be neglected, mistreated, and killed?
Am I to sit patiently in the waiting room of life, as boys continue to fall behind, and drop out of school?
How far are we supposed to swing the pendulum - before enough is enough?
And when does âequalityâ, really become revenge?
If it is true, that âmen have always had their sayâ, then why canât we talk about these issues?
Why does discussion in this space, so often result in brittle rebukes of âmisogynyâ?
Why do academics researching male victims of domestic abuse, so often get death threats?
Why do attempts to open centres for men and boys often lead to picketing, and shrill cries for cancellation?
Why do well meaning attempts to post about these things result in shadow bans, deletion, and silliness in the dms?
Why do so many question, or hypothesise about my sexual history, with whines of âyou sound like an Incelâ and âvirgin!â
And Itâs not just me.
So many of my followers message me about losing friends or family as a result of sharing my content, many more say they have been subjected to needless abuse and bullying too.
When we talk about âpower and controlâ, the image many paint is a shady monolith of rich white men atop a high table, tightening a gag onto society.
But really, who is in the dmâs harassing you?
Who is standing, arms crossed, disapprovingly?
Who is whining, crying, and stomping their feet, hogging the lime light and holding the microphone?
Who is really controlling the conversation?
Is it time we talked about the cry bully playbook?

If you get to shout down and silence everybody else into focusing only on your stuff, or even make them self-censor out of wariness of saying anything at all, you're not marginalized or "oppressed," you're the ruling overclass. Who really has the privilege and power?
The people who have normalized silencing others, with no fear and no repercussions, are the privileged class.
There plenty of post on the other elements but I noticed thereâs little to none for spirit so hereâs some information on the 5th element.
The spirit element is the most transcendent of the elements: It in encompasses, animates, interweaves, and invisibly underlies all things including the other elements. It includes things like storms, deities, outer space, and energy. You may have expected ghosts or human spirits but the element of spirit is much more. Itâs inside of us all things.
Additionally, it includes what lies outside our atmosphere: space, planets, stars, galaxies, and the unknown.
Symbols:
lightning bolts, spirals, circles, planets, spider webs, stars and sacred geometry
Altar items:
Symbols of deities you believe in, symbols of birds, symbols of our galaxy or solar system, spiral symbolism, sacred geometry symbolsim
Ways to connect:
đgaze at the sky, contemplate itâs size and what is beyond it
đexamine and contemplate the placement of the planetâs and constellations
đuse an app like Skyveiw
đstudy astrology and current aspects
đlook at satalite photos of other planets and celestial objects
đbe conscious of the weather and weather patterns
đstay quiet for at least 5 minutes, connect with the silence and open space
đmeditating or gazing at sacred geometry patterns
đmake/color mandalas
đgo star gazing

This actually is really nice to see. I've met a lot of people who fall for the homeopathic trap, you've got to be mega careful with this stuff.
