Hey There LGBTQ Kids Who Are Also Christian/Jewish! If You Feel Like You’re Disobeying God, Questioning

hey there LGBTQ kids who are also Christian/Jewish! If you feel like you’re disobeying God, questioning your faith, or feel wrong and dirty for loving who you love, there’s this fantastic site I found today called hoperemains that accurately and thoroughly combs through scripture and its (many) mistranslations, validates your orientation, and basically let’s you know that you’re not pissing off God. It’s insanely thorough and after reading through every page on the entire site it’s super helpful. Go check it out!

Tickle Games

Headcanons I felt like writing, also inspired by that manga post.

Air Tickle

Can be played by two people or in groups.

The players take turns ‘fake’-tickling each other by wiggling fingers near their tickle spots. The person who can stand it the longest without twitching, cringing or smiling - they have to stay as still as a statue - wins.

After everyone has had their turn they check who has the shortest time, that person is the loser.

Ofc the penalty for the loser is real tickling.

Bonus might be that they’ll get tickled as long as the winner managed to stay still.

7 Minutes

Everyone probably knows 7 minutes in heaven, well ofc there can be a tickle version instead of kissing (to be played in friend groups).

The players spin a bottle and first choose a lee, that person goes into the closet. The other players then spin again and the next person is the one to join the lee and will (try to) tickle them until the 7 minute counter finishes.

Ofc there are always some feared lers in a game like this, or characters like “Ahh phew it’s you~” only for them to turn out to be a brutal tickle monster.

There can be feared lees as well. If a dominant person gets to be the lee and a shy person to be the ler, that shy ler might be like “omfg guys no spin again, I can’t tickle them, they’ll probably be the one to tickle me in the end!”

Rules are rules though, so into the closet!

Tickle-Tac-Toe

Two people play the common tic-tac-toe game but while one person has to think of their next move, the other will tickle their feet (or somewhere else).

Tic-tac-toe is a game that often ends in a draw, which means it will then continue with the two players taking turns tickling each other, until there is finally a winner.

Of course the tickles during the game are quite brief (unless someone gets really distracted and continues laughing and squirming for too long without playing their next move), so afterwards the winner can tickle the loser anywhere for a longer period.

To decide on the tickle penalty length they either randomly roll a number of seconds/minutes or they already agreed on a time before they started the game.

Hide & Shriek

Or Hide & Tickle! One of my faves hahaha and probably a trope that has been in fics before (I think I wrote it at least once or twice).

The one who will do the searching is the ler, and the lee(s) go hide themselves. The lees know that once they are found they will be tickled, so the anticipation of hearing the ler search them and maybe say a few teases is to die for.

The lees are only allowed to choose one hiding place and have to remain there (no running!), so even when they hear other lees near them laugh and shriek, they have to stay where they are and await their doom.

If played with multiple people, the person who remains last is the winner; they won’t get tickled. They get to be the ler in the next round.

Yes/No

The ‘you can’t say yes/no’ classic but the tickle version, meaning that there is a series of questions person A asks person B and they are all tickle related.

“Are you Ticklish?” “Are your armpits ticklish?” “Do you want me to tickle your feet?” “Do you think you could win a tickle fight from me?” “Do you think feathers feel ticklish?” “Would you mind if I tickled you right now?”

Person B has to answer each question fast and is not allowed to say the words ‘yes’ or ‘no’, but on top of that is already giggling and totally flustered just by hearing those questions hahaha.

The person who lasts the longest wins the game and can tickle the loser!

Tickle Tag

Where Hide & Shriek is more like hide and don’t get caught by the ler, tickle tag is like: run, and don’t get caught by the ler!

The game starts with only one ler and a group of lees.

When the fleeing lee(s) get tagged it gives them the status ‘caught’ and the ler’s tickle punishment is inevitable, it’s the rules.

Those who got tickle-tagged cannot enter the game again and can enjoy the show from the side. One round lasts as long as the timer counts down, or until the last lee gets caught.

Everyone who does not get tagged and tickled will be the ler in the next round, so a majority of lers is a possibility.

The game ends once all lees have been caught and turned into a ler, then it refreshes or they can rest hahaha.

Memory

Ideally with two people; the lee gets tied up and blindfolded, and the ler can tickle them for 1 minute (or other random duration).

After the timer stops, the lee has to be able to name each tickle spot that was tickled in the correct order. If they are wrong the ler can go again until they get it right (or until the lee gets too tired rofl).

The ler either memorizes the exact spots in the right order, or already has their own list which they just follow (and the blindfolded lee can’t see) so for example ‘feet - belly - armpits - knees - belly button’.

Some mean lers may cheat and tell the lee they are wrong when they got it right.

When the lee memorized it well and the ler plays fair, they can switch roles.

Four Dices

Everyone probably knows these sensual dices couples can use to play games, with body parts on them and ‘kiss/lick etc.’, well ofc there can be a tickle version.

The first dice has only 2 options: ‘Tickle’ or ‘Get tickled’ (or ‘ler/lee’).

The 2nd dice has multiple body parts on them, like ‘tummy’, ‘hips’, ‘neck’.

The 3rd dice will roll the method of tickling, so for example fingers, feather, raspberries and others.

The 4th dice will decide the time, from a mild 5 or 10 seconds to longer.

The two players take turns playing, and either roll all dices at once, or to build the anticipation they can first roll dices #2, #3 and #4 and then whe lee/ler one last, or any other preferred order one by one.

It’s purely a chance game so the possibility that one person only ends up as the ler/lee is there.

Tickle Bomb

Based on the well-known water bomb game. ‘The bomb’ is just a little note or paper on which two or more players write with feather-pens/quills.

They set a timer randomly on x seconds, and take turns adding a tickle spot to the note, making a little ‘to tickle’ list. It’s not allowed to write the same spot twice.

They keep doing this very anticipating game until the timer stops and the person who was currently writing the note has ‘the bomb’ so it explodes and they get to be subjected to tickles in all the spots that were written down.

Some might try to bully others by writing their most ticklish spots, but it can backfire if they are ticklish there too.

The one who had the ‘exploded note’ can get tickled with the feathers they used as pens, or the lers just ditch them and use their fingers.

The modder argument is a fallacy.

We've all heard the argument, "a modder did it in a day, why does Mojang take a year?"

Hi, in case you don't know me, I'm a Minecraft modder. I'm the lead developer for the Sweet Berry Collective, a small modding team focused on quality mods.

I've been working on a mod, Wandering Wizardry, for about a year now, and I only have the amount of new content equivalent to 1/3 of an update.

Quality content takes time.

Anyone who does anything creative will agree with me. You need to make the code, the art, the models, all of which takes time.

One of the biggest bottlenecks in anything creative is the flow of ideas. If you have a lot of conflicting ideas you throw together super quickly, they'll all clash with each other, and nothing will feel coherent.

If you instead try to come up with ideas that fit with other parts of the content, you'll quickly run out and get stuck on what to add.

Modders don't need to follow Mojang's standards.

Mojang has a lot of standards on the type of content that's allowed to be in the game. Modders don't need to follow these.

A modder can implement a small feature in 5 minutes disregarding the rest of the game and how it fits in with that.

Mojang has to make sure it works on both Java and Bedrock, make sure it fits with other similar features, make sure it doesn't break progression, and listen to the whole community on that feature.

Mojang can't just buy out mods.

Almost every mod depends on external code that Mojang doesn't have the right to use. Forge, Fabric API, and Quilt Standard Libraries, all are unusable in base Minecraft, as well as the dozens of community maintained libraries for mods.

If Mojang were to buy a mod to implement it in the game, they'd need to partially or fully reimplement it to be compatible with the rest of the codebase.

Mojang does have tendencies of *hiring* modders, but that's different than outright buying mods.

Conclusion

Stop weaponizing us against Mojang. I can speak for almost the whole modding community when I say we don't like it.

Please reblog so more people can see this, and to put an end to the modder argument.
