(This takes place after Death Engine. Why is it so long? I honestly have no idea)

The glow from the summer stars lit the inactive Agency building. It was so late that most of the employees went home or fell asleep. The only light from the building was from a tiny office window, Pheoness’s office. There was a faint sense of nostalgia in the air as Pheoness packed her belongings into the last box. In a few days, her and Agent Pheonix would be relocated to another area for their missions. The location was top secret, so not even they knew where their new quarters would be. She wasn’t just a novice rookie anymore, she was in the big leagues! All of this was exciting to her but, she’s been in this office ever since she met her new friends. Memories, both good and bad, filled this quaint little office. Despise chipped at her tired body as she stored away her valuables and she stopped when the familiar feeling of a cold wood frame met her hand. She looks at the item in her hand, a picture of her, Pheonix, and Reginald. They all looked so joyous and even Pheoness had a soft smirk on her face. Though the longing lingered on her like a bad aftertaste, it was washed away by realization. The place where she made these memories will soon be gone, but the people she made it with will not. She felt so lucky to finally have people who respected and cared for her and ecstatic to make even more new memories with them. With the last box packed, her work was finally completed and she could hit the hay. Pheoness remembered Reginald was still awake a few hours ago. Director Morales doesn’t go easy on the paperwork after all. It wouldn’t hurt to say goodnight before she leaves. Unlike the loud, bustling, atmosphere during the day, it was dead silent with only dim overhead lights making her surroundings visible. As she got to his door, she realized the lights inside were off. Dang it, he already left. She really wanted to see him right now…oh well….guess she’ll see him tomorrow. She was about to leave until something stopped her. A noise. One so small, but so powerful it make her blood run cold. The sound of muffled sobs. She gripped the handle of the door, mentally trying to prepare herself for whatever is behind the door, she’s no therapist and definitely not good with handling any sort of emotions. With whitened knuckles, she softly twists the handle and makes a slim opening in the door so she could see what was happening.

I made this really cool comic since I’m starting to become obsessed with Sanders Sides. I felt, to say the least, very attached to the anxious mess and he felt very relatable due to my social anxiety, so I made a small comic of me interacting with him (I’m genuinely terrified this fandom is going to be my next hyper fixation)

In missions the two alternate when going on missions but sometimes both agents join a mission at the same time!

Operation: Friendly Skies

Agent Pheonix is in charge of the first mission while Pheoness is on standby. Pheoness prays that the poor guy doesn’t die on his first mission, and if he does, make it quick. Phoenix’s reckless behavior results in some close calls but doesn’t die a horrible death yet. When Handler tells them that they could get a vacation from this mission, Pheonix gets happy like a caffeinated puppy and Pheoness, while skeptical, is also pleased. Unfortunately, Handler admits they don’t get that vacation, which disappoints Pheonix but makes Pheoness even more annoyed at their Handler, even threatening him at times.

Operation: Squeaky clean

There’s really no lore in this mission. Pheoness goes on the mission and creates the antivirus safety, although, there are a few funny moments like when Handler says he doesn’t know how to make an antivirus, Pheoness starts yelling at him in Spanish and plot twist, Handler speaks Spanish too. The two are just arguing in Spanish while Pheonix has no idea what they’re saying and is just like😐

Operation: Deep dive

Pheoness decides to take this mission again because she thinks it’s too dangerous for Pheonix. Since commutations can’t reach underwater, Handler nor Pheonix know if she survived or not. But while she’s there, she tends to miss her two work associates. She’s able to survive and make it to the surface. Once communications have been restored, it seems both Handler and Pheonix were extremely worried, which confused her since she’s not used to people caring.

Between Deep Dive and Winter Break:

After 3 missions, an agent’s Handler has a meeting with the higher ups to decide if they want to stay with their current agent(s) or move to another agent. As you can tell, a lot of Pheoness’s handlers have not been with her past this stage so she goes a long rant about how their current Handler is probably gonna keep Pheonix but not her while pacing the floor of her office. When Director Morales shows the results, to her surprise, Handler wanted to keep working with both of them! When she confronts Handler and asks him why, he says that he thinks she has a lot of hidden potential. Though she’s annoying at times, he thinks she’s an amazing agent on missions. This leaves her speechless and the events of my comic with Pheoness and Pheonix occur

If you don’t understand, I’ll explain. Pheoness is in her office. She is going through a whole inner conflict questioning her thoughts toward her business associates, especially Handler and has a panic attack. Agent Pheonix sees this and goes to comfort her. When asking what’s wrong, she shows him something she’s never showed anyone. Writing in invisible ink on her office wall. The writing suggests she keeps track of her Handlers. It is revealed that this Handler wasn’t her first one, in fact, he’s her 8th! The rest of her Handlers quit or moved on. Phoenix finally understands why she’s so uptight and hugs her, telling her that he thinks that Handler really cares about her. Pheoness, not being used to physical touch, takes a while before she sincerely returns the affection. (The last panel was a joke and not actually canon) Operation: Winter Break

This is the first mission where both Pheonix and Pheoness both do the mission. They immediately had to fight for Zor’s chair and playfully annoyed eachother before getting back on Handler for the whole “vacation” thing, they make him extremely concerned by burning down most things in the lodge. They find Zoe’s weapon and destroy it with the crystals. Another successful mission

FIRST CLASS VACATION:

Both Pheonix and Pheoness didn’t believe him when Handler told them he got them a vacation on a train in India, but they were overjoyed when they found out it was real. Just the two of them, chilling on a train…but..why are Zor’s guards stopping the train? They hear about the Ex-Zor employee and help her get the pardon she needs. While taking sips of tea at the worst times, they defeat the Zoraxis employees. To be honest, both of them were happy that the Ex-Zor employee was able to survive the whole ideal. When they found out they had to pay for their “all expense vacation” Pheoness was going to yell at Handler in Spanish again, but keeps her cool to everyones surprise.

Between FIRST CLASS VACATION and Seat of Power

Between these 2 missions are another comic I made. If you don’t understand it, I’ll explain. Pheoness notices Handler has been having patterns of staying up all night to do work. Concerned, she points to him. They have a little discussion and she realizes Handlers job is not the luxury she thinks it is. Feeling guilty, she apologized for her yelling and mocking him in previous missions. Handler forgives her and he finally gets some rest. While this is happening, Pheonix peeps his head through the door to see what they’re doing and is happy when they see the two getting along.

Seat Of Power:

Only Pheonix is doing this mission. After a whole minute of pretending to be Zor on his throne, he’s able to get the plans for the death ray. From the elevator, Pheonix and Handler and Pheoness (who are listening in) hear Hivemind and his bees. Phoenix, being the innocent child he is, wants to see the cute little bees. Unfortunately, Hivemind’s bees are very mean and almost kill Pheonix. This makes Pheoness hate Hivemind even more. But even with that setback, they get the info on Zor’s death ray.

(I’ll leave the last mission for another post)

ieytd lore #3 No Survivors (Pt 2)

Solaris snickered as it flung the radiation towards them. Only precious seconds before the radiation crashes into the shuttle and kills them. Quickly, Agent Pheonix uses the robot arm they had control of and did exactly what Commander Solaris told them to do. He caught the barrel before it hit their shuttle. Agent Pheoness was extremely impressed with him, realizing he wasn’t gonna die as easily as she thought. “Good thinking, kid.” She chuckled, ruffling his hair. Pheonix smiled, but he notices a panel outside their shuttle and underneath the Death Engine “You think you can get that open, Pheoness?” He asks. Agent Pheoness smirks “Gladly.” She uses her telekinesis to open the panel. Inside was what could only be the energy source of the Death Engine. They destroy that, they destroy that, they destroy the whole machine. “It’s too big for my telekinesis to destroy!” Pheoness states. Pheonix looks at the radiation in the robotic hand. “What if we use the radiation to override the machine?” Pheonix asks and Pheoness replies with a scoff “That’s both stupid and reckless, anyone with a brain can can figure out that’s a bad idea..” despite her comment, she smirks “Good thing we don’t use ours. Go for it, kid.” Pheonix smirks mischievously, placing the radiation in its core.This causes the core from glowing red to a green hue as another countdown to fire the laser activates. “You idiots have ruined everything! Now all of us are gonna die!” Commander Solaris shouts as mini explosions go off near the core when the machine tries to power up. As the countdown reaches 0, the machine malfunctions, causing the whole shuttle to explode. Everything faded into darkness. The weapon was destroyed and the world was saved. Unfortunately, NO SURVIVORS REMAINED! Wait….if no survivors remained, how did Agent Pheoness wake up to the sound of ERs? Pheoness bolts upright, the memories of both what she went through and the questions of what happens now making her weakened body panic, that is, until she felt a comforting hand on her arm “Hey, Agent, calm down..you’re safe now..” She hears a familiar voice whisper. She looks beside her to see Reginald by her side. Though her body was very sore, she couldn’t help but wrap her arms around him and embrace him. “Reginald….I thought the death engine killed you!” Pheoness sighs. Reginald returns the hug, rubbing her back gently. “No…that blast only cut off communications. How are you though? When the agency’s ships found you two, there was a lot of radiation in your lungs.” “We’re fine..we’re just- Oh no…Pheonix?! Where’s Agent Pheonix?!” Handler laughed and turned her head so she could see Pheonix. He was sitting upright in his own bed next to hers. “We did one heck of a job, Pheoness..” He said, his voice a little weaker than his regular energetic self. “You guys sure did…” Reginald replied “Zor’s plans were completely foiled when you two blew up the Death Engine. Unfortunately, the Agency had to fake your deaths so Zor doesn’t know you’re alive. In the meanwhile, you can take a break from the missions while you recover. So, It was true. No survivors remained on the Death Engine incident, but that’s only what they want you to think.

Kai is wandering around the place, probably lost again, and finds an office with a door slightly open. He stops for a moment, considering just going about his day, but (being the slightly nosy person he is) decides some friendly conversation couldn't hurt.
