My aranara story 'The Tidings of The Trees' follows the story of Arakasha (the green mushroom hat one) and Ararin (the one with the yellow flower) as they travel from Vanarana to the outside world to find the answer on why the trees in their village suddenly fell silent (in my canon aranara can talk to trees). On their travels they meet other aranara from different tribes who joined in on their quest as they find out that the truth may be deeper that it seems... The story also talks more about the past of the aranara, a little about Sumeru's, and Arakasha's.

So far I've already come up with the main points of this story, but I still have the details to fill. I plan for this story to be made into a webcomic, so stayed tuned!

A different birthday (pt 1/4)

(update: I am planning on reworking this comic entirely, so this is actually the last pages of this version's that I'll be posting for now.

I'm still working out the details but I promise that I will complete this comic and post it here. I'm thinking, should I plan the comic for October 2025 or will that take too long? Hmm questions...

Revisiting this made me realise that these are actually better than what I imagined them to be. (no I'm pretty sure it's not because I'm looking at these on a way too bright phone in the dark when I can't sleep) it's just mainly overly time-consuming due to the details in the background and the coloring method I chose. This is the biggest reason for my decision to rework this comic.

Anyways thank you for enjoying these pages and I hope you'll look forward to the new version. You know, I'm thinking of maybe releasing the half completed pages of this version as bonus when I post the new complete comic.)
