I've never cared about Harry Potter or JK Rowling that much, but the fact that people were announcing that they were removing Harry Potter tattoos over her opinions, or boycotting a game and shaming anyone who didn't, or even burning books should have been what woke me up years ago. I have not heard of HP Lovecraft or worse authors getting as much hate as she has, to the point where even liking any of her work is met with scrutiny. Apparently separating the author from their work can only work if the author isn't even gently pressing against a certain dogma.

Leaf boy! 🌿

Lost my 'drawing boys that look like boys' skill during my years-long art block, so I thought I'd draw this guy for some practice.

If you care more about whether a Christian woman wears pants or has tattoos than you do about her walk with God or how welcomed she feels to fellowship with you and your church, you are doing something very very wrong

Reluctant Jamette- Book Cover Design 2

These were the final sketches that I used for my cover design. I did the split-down-the-middle thing to represent how Tamika is mentally separated from these powers that she doesn't want.

The last two sketches show her and Jamette facing each other. I can't quite remember what I had in mind when I came up with this (this is why you take notes!) but I think it was just the continuation of them being separate from each other. I do have plans for the 'Jamette' in her to start fighting against her will.

The final piece! To be honest, I don't like her. She didn't have any planning behind her, so that didn't help. But I wanted to finally finish her and post her, so here you go!

Because she's so boring, I decided against recording her for YouTube. I made another, more exciting piece for the video instead. I'll post it up sometime this month.
