The way politics has made so many Christians hateful and vindictive makes me sad. Satan has done well to enter the church using politics as a tool. Every time I see a christian mocking and belittling someone on the other side I wonder if they know they are letting the devil in.

Multi-Blue Granny Square Crochet Maxi-Skirt Update #5

Update on my crochet skirt! All granny squares were completed, blocked AND sewn together! And it looks fantastic!

I bought lining fabric for the skirt, but honestly I don't think it will be needed!

What IS needed now though, is to weave in all those ends 😰 I also need to make the waistband.

The skirt is the width of my hips (9 squares) so I need to gradually cinch in the waist (there's a word for it in crochet, but it's not coming to mind) I also want to crochet around the bottom edge to 'clean up' the hem.

Still a lot of work, but I can't wait to finish and wear it!

Anyone defending Rachael Zegler from anything other than racism is weird.

She and her comments are partly to blame for that crap pot of a movie bombing. Unfortunately for her, people don't forget. Who wants to see a movie with a lead that despises the inspiration story?? Foolishness!

The movie could have been decent (maybe) if she kept her mouth shut and they didn't toss up the whole plot and use AI.

A drawing based on a story idea I had in 2018 after the massive flooding that my country experienced.

'They used to say 'God is a Trini!'. Disrespectful in retrospect. They don't say that now, not since the floods came. We used to be Trinidad and Tobago. Now we is just Port of Spain.

Haven't made any post on this so far, but I have to now.

Since the news of the latest two allegations has come out, there's a sudden surge of fandom posts on this tag in order to drown out the real news. I'm sure the crisis management team has been working real hard, but let's not let them succeed.

I started watching Cells at Work because I'm currently going through a chronic illness flare-up caused by my immune system being too jumpy (I'm good though) and it had me thinking about all the immune system art that I want to make and all the research I want to do and I decided to draw a red blood cell OC!

Currently on episode 4! It's such a good anime!

The first sketch is what gave me the idea for the name of this story, though I may change the name in the future as I'm not sure if the fake romance will be a large part of this story.

What better way for a demon to mess with a teenage girl than to 'fall in love' with her? This time, SHE doesn't fall for it. She KNOWS he's a creature of darkness and is immune to his charm.

The last two are more cover art ideas. I wanted to add Noah to the possible cover and keeping with the idea of it looking like a cute romance cover, I made it look as if she has to choose between the boys (well, the one boy and the demon pretending to be a boy)

The boys mirror each other for that balanced look and to show off their intentions. Noah has a Bible and Cyrus has a deformed heart. Gabriella's pose is a work-in-progress. I'm not sure yet how she's going to stand.

I adore delicately shaped pencil art of whimsical ladies, especially when their hair is left the white of the paper. It's such a cool contrast
