couldve asked me this on disc but i digress..

anyway, to make this easier on myself, im gonna assume this is an au where nobody died— im not sure how the symbiotes would work but maybe theyre js pieces of titans that split off and attach themselves to their host?

godzilla: the most logical choice would be dr. serizawa since serizawa is the closest thing to godzillas human friend, so maybe he would stick w serizawa, but another part of me thinks he would want someone at their prime since ishiro is what? 70 years old 😭 which leads me to think godzillas host would actually be ford since hes on a good moral standpoint, understands why titans cant be eradicated, and even aided godzilla.

kong: as obvious as jia would be, i think they’d end up reckless like whenever dylan brock has venom, so maybe he wouldn’t want to hurt jia and would instead settle for dr. andrews, knowing he could protect jia while bonded to ilene.

mothra: the chen twins, that probably goes wo saying 😭

rodan: honestly, he doesn’t interact with human characters and we haven’t really seen enough of him, but i’ll throw my hat into the ring and say maybe lauren griffin? or anthony martinez? im js thinking someone from g-team in kotm

ghidorah: theres actually a lot of candidates for ghidorahs host, since i dont think any of this will come to fruition, ill js spitball who— first off, jonah seems like a logical choice, however, after kotm, jonah is a wanted man with little to no assets since most of his mercenaries were wiped out, i think (and since im biased) ghidorah would want someone powerful and to spite ishiro, he’d go for ren and become a carlton drake/riot figure.

mechagodzilla: since ren would be busy w ghidorah, that leaves mechagodzilla wo a host, so i know this sounds like a reach but i think maia would be a great host! mechagodzilla is referred to as ‘the son of simmons’ which makes him maias younger brother, what an odd family but i digress

shimo: since everyone lives in this timeline, i think in some ways emma would make for a good host for shimo, idk why it js came to mind soo

- ren serizawa in the ghidorahs voice au attended an elitist tokyo school from the years 2006-2009, his father was a fairly public figure who often preached about balances long before the 2014 attack which resulted in ren having a big target on his back throughout his school days, already having few friends due to being reserved on top of now being bullied.

- ghidorastan64 wasn’t born until a particular incident involving one of rens peers going out of his way to put a salamander in his shoe, which can easily be considered the straw that broke the camels back.

- when ren got home that day, he did what any angry chronically online teenager in that era and beyond would do and created ‘ghidorastan64’ as a means to take out his frustration on others, its worth noting the internet was a very different place than it is today, with that being said, he frequently targeted monarch pages, pro titan pages, vivienne graham in particular, and later went on to troll real life lolcows such as chris chan.

- ren DID NOT know ghidorah was a real thing when he created the username, to him, it was an evil creature from mythology and he had no idea said creature would fuck him over.

- nowadays, the ghidorastan64 account became so infamous several people began to use the handle— this means ren wasn’t the only one trolling bernie and a few copycat trolls came along down the line. even nearly 20 years after the account was made, controller x!ren considers this his biggest secret and feels true fear whenever someone refers to him as ghidorastan64 as opposed to X.
