doing another v3 talentswap, but with different rules - instead of a randomizer, i’m shuffling the talents clockwise around the trial circle!

shuichi - inventor

hmm…i think he probably makes a lot of little quality-of-life improving inventions, but is insecure about how small and seemingly simple they are. not a mad-scientist type like miu, that’s for sure.

kaito - detective

this definitely feeds his hero complex, lol. probably also makes his upset at being called ‘stupid’ worse also…just generally not a good talent for him to have, oof. the outfit is definitely sick though, maybe based on his anniversary clothes?

kirumi - astronaut

i trust her to fight the aliens. kirumi will de-haunt the moon.

ryoma - butler

would be a more interesting use of the cult, that’s for sure!

a more literal take on the whole “beauty of humanity” thing, which could be fun :] i think he still travels around the world,,,a stagnant korekiyo doesn’t make sense to me.

winner of “most unethical social experiment” award!! she is putting you in a jar and shaking you like a bug <333

his sisters put him in so many silly costumes he made it a career i see

this makes his thing about sacrificing himself to save his friends SO MUCH WORSE (┬┬﹏┬┬) why does gonta always get the saddest possible talent in these swaps…

this wouldn’t change too much about her - it’s still a performance based talent, just with a different aesthetic. would be extremely funny if she still insists she’s actually a mage tho.

goofy costumes aside i think this is a talent kokichi would have a lot of fun with!! tons of flair. more emphasis put on his lock-picking and pickpocketing probably…is THIS your card!? nope it’s your wallet <3.

ok this one is SICK. can you IMAGINE vigilante girl scouts. can you. i’m very tired rn and i’ve been writing this post for several days so i have no juice left but i need you to know how much i love this one. leader tenko for president.

kiibo - aikido master

imagining kiibo with any kind of strength-based talent is so difficult…at least he no longer needs to take anyone to court, he can just break their bones???

miu - robot

there are two WILDLY different ways this character could go i think. option 1 focuses on the inherent horror of being a sentient sex doll. option 2 is a comic relief character focusing on a robot getting plugged into the internet and immediately becoming comically horny. choose wisely.

hey! so for those of you who didn’t already know, i currently live in Japan, where same-sex marriage is not yet legal. tomorrow afternoon, the Japanese Diet is having a hearing concerning same-sex marriage, and they’re “gauging interest” based on the viewership of the livestream. basically, if people don’t watch, they’ll just write off the issue as niche and avoid it for as long as possible.

i’m posting about this here because, for ~some reason~, the hearing is to start at 1pm. on a regular thursday. when people are at work.

so, for those of you who will be awake at 1pm JST on thursday the 26th of november, i ask you to please contribute to the youtube live viewer count. i’ll put the link in a reblog.

@looknorth I can ASSURE you that is not ‘well people think french is pretty’ I will speak butt ugly German and people will ask how to learn it. The reason people act differently to all these languages is one reason: Racism. 

Not ‘because Language A is spoken pretty and Language B is not’ Which is total bull by the way. Because one language is perceived as just as a language, something cool to learn. The other is plagued by rumors and superstations. Its sucks. So don't try to excuse people’s blatant racism with your shitty excuse.

Now for your ‘French is just way more useful to people is western society’ While @fujofucks already pointed out that your excuse is shit, I'm going to back up her argument with another language. 

German isn't fucking practical unless your in fucking germany.

Yet I get asked to teach it to randos. Because I am a white female and their racist cucks. I have seen those same people shoot disgusting looks at my friends who are black. Its fucking rascism plain and simple. 

i speak french in public to my grandparents and to my boyfriend. people are surprised that im bilingual and say its cool and ask me to teach them some time

but when one of my classmates speaks arabic in public to her family, she gets strange and disgusted looks. no one asks to be taught arabic. no one says its cool that shes bilingual
