ROGER TAYLOR on “Rockpop” TV show, Germany, 10th June 1981
Here’s another garbage Watermour comic that no one asked for.
I’ve always thought the recorded version of “walk with me sydney” sounds like the intro to a short mid 60s cartoon so I made some screencaps/concept art
forever and always thinking of that one video where the Stones were taking turns kissing a girl on the forehead for the press and they asked Charlie to do it and he shook his head and said “love is a much more deeper thing than that. it’s not flippant to be sold away on the celluloid.”
Roger Waters has confirmed he’s working on a re-working of ‘The Dark Side of the Moon. In an interview with, ‘BERLINER ZEITUNG , he said, ““The new concept is meant to reflect on the meaning of the work, to bring out the heart and soul of the album,” he says, “musically and spiritually. I’m the only one singing my songs on these new recordings, and there are no rock and roll guitar solos.” 🎧

Tried to fix this lips but I think it was a mistake using blue ink, would like to fill in the other side of his face with some more graphite
— DIDN’T THEY DO WELL T-SHIRT — 🎸
‘Didn’t They Do Well’ was a catchphrase from then popular British ‘The Generation Game’ show, produced by the BBC, in which four teams of people from the same family, but different generations, competed to win prizes. The programme was first broadcast in 1971 and ran until 1982, and again from 1990 until 2002.
Early in 1973 David Gilmour was snapped wearing this red ‘Didn’t They Do Well’ t-shirt in a series of poses whilst strumming a guitar and twiddling the knobs at his home recording studio in London.
