Ok.For this one,I have to(kinda)agree on Thomas. He's(kinda)right about this thing.
If you want to go to the space,at least pay your workers/employees first,Jeff. You're the richest man in the world but you still being a dick by not providing a good and efficient working environment to your workers.
So, unsurprisingly, Thomas Astruc who claims he doesn't like to discuss politics on his Twitter and only wants to discuss Miraculous Ladybug with fans on there is talking about Mega Leech + climate change and how he "predicted greenwashing."
I'm tired.
Really, Astruc lucked out here. How else can you explain an episode about environmentalism airing right around the same time former Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos went to space for no real reason other than to look cool in front of the other billionaires?
Now because of this sheer coincidence, Astruc can gloat about how smart he is like he knows everything, including how to solve climate change.
I find Zoe a little vague rn because I find it strange that when in Sole Crusher(S4EP07),she was being akumatized but straight up got the bee miraculous in the next episode(Queen Banana)(S4EP08).
It make me strange that your character debuted and then in the next episode she becoming a hero/heroine.
This is quite foreshadowing. For me at least.
Apparently,I have to agree with Thomas at this point because....LOOK AT HOW THE CURRENT FRENCH GOVERNMENT HANDLES THE ISSUES LIKE IMMIGRATION,RACISM,POLICE BRUTALITY,MUSLIMS/ISLAM,ECT.
And secondly,
So.....yeah,about the episode though,I'm halfway watching it but I can give you my thoughts about it.
Long story short,I'm watching the episode only because of the akuma and just the akuma, fuck that bus ticket guy (and the guy who smile behind him),fuck Roger,Sabine (and Marinette)shoudn't deserve it,the execution was 100% worse and FUCK THE STATUS QUO THAT MARINETTE SHOULD LEARN THE LESSON EVEN THOUGH SOMETIMES,IT'S NOT HER FAULT IN THE FIRST PLACE!
I know that they trying to teach us the lesson about racism, the message was there but it was executed very VERY horribly. So,if you thought that Miraculous is good for kids to teach the lessons, well, kinda. The message is good but please take it with a grain of salt,ok?
Oh hey, the trailer for "Qilin" came out recently. Let's check it out.
Huh. I know we don't have any context, but it kind of looks like Sabine got akumatized because she was being racially profiled.
But come on, who are we kidding? There's no way the show would actually tackle a subject that sensitive, right?
"Qilin" will be a ball to talk about, won't it?
How about go to the contact support? That may be work.
Can you read this?
I can but I don't have inbox anymore and I can't answer to replies, I think it only works with reblogs and, as far as I can tell, asks. This is so boring, I can't wait for this problem to get fixed cuz I hear many other people have the same problem so that's probably why we don't see many other accounts here.
Also,maybe,JUST maybe,the reveal.
A thought I had about the fifth season of Miraculous Ladybug getting a rating bump.
The younger the target audience, the less acceptable it is for the heroes to lose. The idea of “good triumphs over all” is viewed as an important part of teaching morals to kids, since it sends the message that “good” behavior is rewarded with success or some other reward.
Companies think that the concept of “good doesn’t always win” or The Just World Fallacy is a morally gray theme and not suitable for all ages. It’s also a branding thing, like how SEGA mandates that Sonic the Hedgehog isn’t allowed to lose in any piece of media he shows up in. “Heroes” have to be unbeatable.
Indeed, the heroes in Miraculous have not really suffered any real losses; they always win the fight in every single singular story within the series and any loss is only temporary to ramp up tension for the eventual win. Similarly, the villains aren’t really allowed to win, with the only exception to that being the Grimoire translation they got in ‘Miracle Queen’, but the heroes didn’t even know they’d gotten their hands on that so the villains didn’t “win” anything from them and so it didn’t register as a “loss”, especially in comparison to Nathalie’s condition at the end of the season finale. Similarly, Master Fu’s amnesia merely sent him off to his retirement with the love of his life.
So, with the rating getting raised for season five, there is actually a chance that the villains will be allowed to succeed and take home a real win, or the heroes will suffer an actual loss that doesn’t get undone within a single storyline.
S4EP05 Psychomedian
S4EP24 Penalteam
Side note:Qilin will be the last episode that was ANIMATED(alongside these 2 episodes) for this season before changing focus to the specials and Season 5 but there is a chance that Qilin might RELEASING EARLIER than these 2 episodes(Not the season finales+Kuro Neko but Psychomedian and Penalteam).
Wait, what the fuck is going on with Chloe right here?
Guess Chloe isn't turning over a new leaf in Penalteam if she's working with Lila huhhuh...
So, first of all, I'm so sorry for not posting for too long because I'm busy with my school life rn (plus I'm procrastinating). So.....,yeah.
And let me tell ya....
So..., there's that.
Anyway, what do you think about the design? Lemme know in the comments.
As always, have a great day, stay healthy, stay miraculous and
