Hello y'all! I received my first request yay! @sarney7 asked me for headcannons of how would lackadaisy characters (Freckle, Rocky, Zib, Mordecai, Viktor i also wanted to add Ivy and Serafine to the list for the funsies) react to reader breaking up with them.

Before we begin: this work contains light angst, the reader is gn.

(also the characters go in alphabetical order ༎ຶ⁠‿⁠༎ຶ )

Freckle:

•When you told him you wanted to break up, he didn't know what to say.

•If he tried to speak up but you cut him mid sentence, he's not speaking up again.

•He's torn on what to do. His random zoning out worsened as he thinks a lot about what you said, but it all ends up with him doing nothing.

•You might catch him avoiding places you usually go to.

Poor boy is too socially awkward.

Ivy:

•She'll probably take it as a joke at first, so you better admit she's right and start laughing with her, otherwise you'll face her throwing a tantrum.

•It's best if you try to avoid her from now on.

•Once you leave her, she'll be heartbroken, mourning your relationship for a few days... however shortly after she'd most likely move on.

•Please, move out of the town. Seriously. Do it. Unless you want your limbs mangled by a certain bartender.

Mordecai:

•If you'd suggest breaking up, his first reaction would be: "what?" Followed by a confused stare.

•He'd ask you to tell him the reasons of why you wanted to split up. There are two scenarios of what would happen after telling him:

1. If you were together for a long time and he trusted you, he'd suggest trying to work on the issues you both had and slowly overcome them together (if possible).

2. If your relationship wasn't strong, he'd back out of it and let you leave. Why would he change himself for anyone anyway?

•He might be a bit more irritable and gloomy for a while after you left.

•Later he started pushing away his feelings and telling himself he's better off alone. Basically he's in denial.

Rocky:

•At first he'd stare at you with that goofy grin of his, waiting like an oblivious puppy for you to say something more. You didn't do it tho. Once he realized you were serious, his grin faltered.

•"Oh c'mon! Don't be like that, I'm sure there's still a lot to come for us!". He tried to nudge you with his elbow, but you just rolled your eyes at him. He slumped his shoulders. "Oh but whyyyyyy.... Why do you want to leave me?" He whined. "There's so much we can do together!" - what I mean is that he'd react pretty immediately, trying to keep you at his side, not wanting you to leave, he'd try to persuade you to say.

•After you left, it seemed like he was doing somewhat well, but was he? Many people noticed his actions were more destructive and he himself was acting a little crazier than usual... If that was even possible.

He tried to keep himself occupied most of the time with anything to keep his mind busy, to not let his thoughts wander off to you.

•At night it was harder for him to fall asleep tho. No one really knew what was going on inside his head, but one thing's for sure, a lot.

Serafine:

•"What did you say, Cher?" She purred while inching her knife dangerously close to your skin.

You gulped. "N-nothing!"

"That's what I thought so" she smirked and leaned back.

•Well... There is no real way out of this situation as long as she doesn't get bored of you... or as long as you're sneaky enough to leave the area unnoticed.

•Although if you do escape somehow, she's gonna go mad. I feel sorry for her next victim.

Viktor:

•His initial reaction was a grumble. Then he wanted to know why you wanted to break up. There is a possibility he'd get into a small argument with you when you wanted to leave.

•He wouldn't admit it, but he didn't want you two to part. He's grown found of you over the time and now he felt like a part of him was missing. Nonetheless he was bad at words and he couldn't bring himself to do anything. He'd prefer to be kneecapped again than having to suffer like this. (Kind of)

•After that, Mitzi started complaining about him being more snappy and irritable than usual...

Zib:

•Where did his cigarette go? You could've sworn it was in between his lips a second ago-.. oh, it's on the floor.

•First of all, ouch.

He had to make sure he wasn't in some kind of a dreadful dream before he-.. ah, nevermind.

•He asks if you have already thought out your decision for sure.

•It was painful to watch you leave, but maybe after all you were making the right choice? What had he to offer anyway? He wished you would stay, but at the same time he probably shouldn't stop you, maybe you'd find someone who'd take a better care of you... Just like Mitzi did when she found Atlas.

•He's drunk again. Wait, is that you in the corner of the speakeasy? It's time for him to unleash his charms and hit on you. Perhaps he'd manage to win you back.

•After his futile attempts at courting you, he is practicing sitting around looking 'pensive and troubled' -'more like a grimy doormat - while thinking melodramatically about the past.

A/N: thank you for reading! Ugh, making these character thumbnails thingies took me more than I wanted it to😭 I was struggling to write out some of the characters (I hope it's not too noticeable) but I was trying my best to keep it in character, let me know your thoughts!

Can you do hcs for Rocky Rickaby with Atlas May's daughter! reader?

Yeah ofc, I'll try!

I assumed that Atlas's child is also Mitzi's since they were married in the comic, in case it is not what you wanted let me know! I can try changing some stuff up.

Summary: Rocky Rickaby x May's daughter!reader

Warnings: established relationship. Female!reader.

About the parents...

Okay so first of all, Atlas wouldn't be too happy to see you dating Rocky, however Mitzi would let that slip somehow. After all she was the one to grow fond of Rocky and bring him to the speakeasy.

At first your parents especially Atlas would be a bit very skeptical towards you spending some alone time with your new boyfriend, but they would get used to it over time as long as you'd be safe and sound around him.

Despite that, him taking you out to any kind of bootlegging/smuggling mission, or anything akin to that would be a big NO.

Your dad might not be a big fan of your boyfriend, but at least he makes you happy and that's what counts, right? He'll let your partner live... For now.

And now let's switch to Rocky

He'd be over the moon to be in a relationship with you. Like, c'mon... A GIRLFRIEND?! Who is the DAUGHTER of his MOTHER FIGURE?! It's like killing two birds with one stone. Wait maybe let's not use this certain saying-...

He's trying to be as careful as he can around you, which might be kind of hard for him considering the way he is, but he's trying okay? He doesn't want anything bad happening to his precious partner after all.

Rocky definitely soaks up all your affection. Have you seen that short comic on lackadaisy site called "beam" where Mitzi complimented him? It's the same way with you. You compliment him, say a nice word or call him any cute pet names? He's all giddy and fuzzy. Don't overdo it or the consequences might be catastrophic.

(No survivors reference, haha, get it? ಥ⁠‿⁠ಥ)

He'd probably get a bit more comfortable around Atlas too. You can sometimes see him trying to crack a bad joke or nudge your dad with his elbow, but the result is very similar to when he does that to Viktor, however it's less violent.

If anybody ever tries to hit on you, Rocky's quick to react.

He slides up to the guy who tried to hit on you and wraps his arm around the guy's shoulders. "Hey there pal! Sorry to tell you, but this girl is taken, however do not worry! I have just someone you can talk to instead!" Then with that huge maniac grin, he slowly reaches to his coat and is about to pull something out, but the other guy is already skedaddling halfway through the room. Rocky pauses his hand mid air with a small piece of paper in it. His shoulders dropped and he put on a sad expression on his face. "Oh what a loss! Im sure he would've got along with Walter!"

"Who's Walter?" You ask with amusement.

Suddenly you heard something in a distance behind you. "Oh, sometimes I play the drums-"

"ANYWAY!"

After Atlas's death, Rocky tried to be there for you and Mitzi, doing his best to help as much as he could even tho his actions didn't always have the intended outcome. Despite everything he loves you dearly.

Summary: Sedgewick Sable x reader who has Entomophobia (fear of insects)

a/n: This is the first time I ever post my writing anywhere hence this might be a bit crappy, please let me know if there's anything I should fix. I read over this a few times to correct the mistakes I've made, but English isn't my first language so I cannot provide you with proofread writing, sadly. Please let me know your opinion!

Before we begin: The reader is gn. There is a brief use of (Y/N). This scenario can be taken as platonic or romantic, it doesn't really matter.

You and Wick met at the Lackadaisy speakeasy and shortly after, you became good friends. In one of your conversations you mentioned you liked reading, it was a great opportunity for Wick to mention his own collection of literature that he was keeping in a small library in his house. At the sight of you getting all excited, Wick was more than happy to invite you over so you could take a look at it. You gladly took him up on that offer and his place turned out to be rather comfortable to spend your free time at.

Today was nothing different than usual. You were at Wick's house and you just finished peacefully reading a book. You stood up to wander around in hopes of finding another piece of literature to read, however, first you wanted to return the book where it came from. You passed a few shelves until you stopped in front of the one you previously took a book from. You wanted to place the book back in its place, but suddenly you froze up and-... 

-"AAAAAH" an awful scream left your lungs followed by the quiet thud produced by the book as it hit the floor.

Wick nearly jumped in his seat, his ears shot up in alert. He looked up from the papers on his desk, a look of fright crossed his face. He jumped to his feet and rushed into the library which thankfully was near his study. 

- "(Y-... (Y/N), are you alright?!" 

He stopped himself on the doorframe almost crashing against it. He looked around the room and spotted you frozen in front of the shelves next to the window. He took in a shallow breath after which he started placing careful steps in your direction. Once he was already by your side he took a glance at whatever made you let out that horrific sound.

-"what's going-.. oh!" His frown quickly turned into a smile. "What a beautiful specimen of a stag beetle!" He leaned in to take a closer look. "I really find them interesting... you see, their skin is an exoskeleton, which protects them from harsh changes in climate. They have also small hooks at the end of their legs to-.." he stopped in his tracks as he felt something grabbing his elbow.

-"Kill it." You stated bluntly in a tone of voice that sounded higher than usual.

- "uh-.. uhm.. excuse me? " He turned his head to look at you over his shoulder. One of his eyebrow rose at the sight of you ducked behind him. Then he turned to look back at the beetle. "I cannot just kill it." he pursed his lips in a light pout.

- "Then just do something!" You whined in desperation. You tried to take another peek at the bug over Wick's arm, but it was a bad idea. The sight of it made you shudder and hide behind the 'quarry magnate' once again.

Wick glanced at you, taking in your shaken state. His eyes softened and a sigh escaped his lips. What else had he left to do? After a short moment of contemplation he moved closer to the shelf, grabbed the bug with his thumb and pointer right behind its head and carefully picked it up. Within seconds, the beetle was placed on the windowsill, where it escaped into the outside world without much thought.

- "See?" Wick smiled proudly. "They might look intimidating, however there is nothing to be afraid of. They're harmless as long as you don't threaten them." 

- "It still doesn't change my point of view..." You grumbled meanwhile moving forward to the window and closing it. "their thin little legs, the way they crawl... It's awful! Don't get me even started on the flying kind!" - You shivered in disgust.

- "Erm... Well, that one had wings also, they cannot fly very well, but when-"

"No!" You yelled in horror and turned to the other side, trying to take your mind off of those disgusting creatures.

- "Okay, okay, no need to be rude." he crossed his arms on his chest.

Wait, you didn't offend him, he was only joking, right?

You bit your lip and looked down at your hands - "Sorry... I didn't mean it that way-.." suddenly you felt Wick's hand on your shoulder. You tilted your head up to look at him.

- "I know, I was just teasing. Everyone has their own fears and that's completely normal." His lips curled up in a soft, polite smile. "Now, if you excuse me..." His hand fell back against his side. "I have some paperwork to finish"

- "right..." You muttered under your breath with slight disappointment as you observed him walk towards exit, but before he left, he looked at you over his shoulder with that typical smirk of his and said:

- "If you ever need a knight in shining armor to save you from these vicious beasts again, you know where to find me."

Your muffled laughter was enough of an answer for him, so he left the library and returned to the files awaiting in his study.

Okay so first of all - thank you.

The second of all - you sent me two requests and I'm gonna write them in the order you gave them to me. However, before I do this I'm going to mention something you wrote in the second request:

- MLM is "men loving men" something like that. So basically male character x another male character (reader). In my master post I did say I most likely won't write this, but I might do some exceptions and I will.

Next time if the gender won't affect the fanfic I might just write 'character x gn! Reader' instead.

Your request is completely fine, don't worry lol

For this post I'll use your idea with the bullet.

Warnings: mentions of getting shot, slight angst, after all there's no mention of reader's gender cuz somehow I managed to not use it? It just doesn't matter here.

You dragged out Mordecai for a walk around the town. You wanted to unwind and the idea of a peaceful walk with your lover seemed great. Mordecai didn't think about it as positively as you, but somehow you managed to persuade him into going with you.

The walk started nicely. You raised your head up to see the sunny sky with some clouds floating around. You looked to the side, at your partner who didn't seem to enjoy it as much as you, but you didn't mind. You were used to his 'unemotional' persona.

You continued the walk, taking in the surroundings, looking left and right just like a curious child. Suddenly you stopped in your tracks.

Mordecai's ears twitched. He turned his head in your direction but-

- "Mordecai, look out!" You shouted and jumped forward to push him aside.

Pow

You fell on your knees with a grunt. You raised your hand to clutch your shoulder and curled up on the ground.

Mordecai looked at you in bewilderment. He saw blood starting to drip slowly off your hand. His breath hitched. He took out his gun in a swift movement and started to spin around, trying to spot where the bullet came from.

Bang Bang

Two more bullets were fired. This time you didn't notice who sent them flying into the air. Your ears were ringing and your heart was racing.

Next thing you saw was Mordecai's angry face in front of you.

You only heard him shouting:

- "You idiot!"

So many emotions fought inside of you. You started hyperventilating and you fainted from exhaustion.

Mordecai hissed under his breath and looked around again to make sure you two were safe. He tried to pick you up. After a few attempts he managed to and took you home.

He wasn't sure what to do. Someone had to take the bullet out of your arm, but he couldn't operate you himself.

Should he take you to Elsa? Are they still on good terms?

He was so torn on what to do.

At the end, he left you at Elsa's doorstep and watched from afar as she took you in. He had to. He couldn't leave you with a deep wound in your arm.

After the bullet was taken out and you were patched up, Mordecai took you home.

Then he had the chance to berate you right.

-"You imbecile! What were you thinking?! Taking a bullet just like that?!" Mordecai flung his hands in the air angrily.

-"I- I just wanted to save you... I didn't know-"

-"What do you mean you didn't know?!?! The bullet flies at you, you're getting shot! This is basic logic!" He argued.

"that's not what I meant... I'm sorry" you tried to fight tears which started to well up in your eyes.

Mordecai sighed.

"Just... Don't you dare do it ever again. Ever." He said firmly.

'What kind of stupidity was it? He should've taken the bullet. He was tougher than you' he thought to himself.

He cares, he really does, but he's also scared. He doesn't want you to end up in the same situation ever again.

He will take care of you the following days. He won't let you overexert yourself and will watch over you whenever he can.

finally I found some motivation to write so here we go! I wasn't exactly sure how to write it, but I tried.

In case you wanted me to write it differently or if you want me to include some other stuff I didn't think of, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

The reader is gn.

Romantic headcannons, but no mention of established relationship.

At first he didn't think much of the gifts that you gave him. He saw them as rewards for his succeeded runs.

However when you didn't stop gifting him, he started feeling a little confused and awkward about it. He wasn't complaining tho, hah.

He started showing you more and more gratitude.

Subconsciously he was looking forward to seeing you, but it wasn't really because he wanted to get something from you. He was just yearning for this nice sensation of feelings he used to get around you.

One evening when he came back from one of his adventures, you heard him complaining about him damaging his violin. - That was the moment you knew what your next move was.

He was really skeptical about borrowing you his beloved violin but he decided to trust you since so far you've never let him down.

When you gave him back his violin, he was in tears (of joy ofc). He couldn't thank you enough. It was his old violin but it was repaired now and it looked almost brand-new.

He offered to play you something on it as a token of appreciation ;3

You were already used to Rocky reciting some random poets he came up with in the span of the moment, but now it got more frequent and more personalized.

He's very grateful for everything you do for him. He might not always be the best at words but his actions speak volumes you wish those 'actions' were less disastrous tho...

You need to tone down spoiling him or else he might feel like he's using you which is not good cuz your poor boy feels awful with that😔

There is a possibility that once Mitzi catches on how rich you are and that you're close to Rocky, she might try persuading him into asking you to help the speakeasy or she might ask you herself.

If you ever deny helping Mitzi's drowning ship and give them a good reason why, Rocky won't ask you for it again. What you do is enough for him and he doesn't wanna make you feel used.
