Katsuki nearly died for Izuku TWICE, Izuku went feral over this ALSO twice. They protect each other at all costs, they mimic each other, they follow each other everywhere, they think of each other constantly.

They're childhood friends, they share the same dream, Katsuki is canonically Izuku's most important person. They lock eyes across the battle field and look at each other with hope just knowing the other is alive.
